So what are your thoughts on this charismatic ecumenical movement that has begun in the RCC?
What do you think about the information in the video?

Well i am against the ecumenical movement which wants to mix darkness with the Light..

But while i know that the RCC is in darkness, i do not know if the person who produced this video is actually in the Light either..

I will be wary in these times.. The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend..

Does that Chalcolithic Church still pray to false gods(Mary and the saints), do they still in believing praying for the dead in purgatory? If yes, no matter what they are still a cult.

I attended them too Jackson. And I loved it. The worship was so awesome, and was the fist time I heard singing in the Spirit. My experience with them was positive. And I know many of them didn't agree with some of their doctrine after receiving the baptism and left the church.

I never heard a song to Mary. And I had the three books that the charasmatics sang out of in the beginning. I play piano and organ.

I search Google, seem to me they pray to Mary

Let us ask the Virgin Mary to obtain a renewed Pentecost for the Church again today, a Pentecost that will spread in everyone the joy of living and witnessing to the Gospel." - Pope Benedict XVI, May 11, 2008

I know there are Christian Catholics even if I do not understand it. I say I know this because my Rabbi says there are. But in all honesty I do not care enough to try to look beyond the false god thing to find out G-d will sort out the what and the tears anyway. Not my job. But that does not dot keep me from calling a spade a spade...

Attack?

Attack?

I don't feel too threatened by Charismatics attacking me.

What are they gonna do... speak in tongues at me?

I'm pretty sure I can defend myself from little old ladies trying to give me cookies and heal my bunions.

And if my satire is offensive, we might consider toning down the hyperbole to a reasonable level.

God Bless

I only attend once, and I doubt why they sing praising Mary.

After Google search, i believe they endorse praying to Mary.

There was a CNN show regarding faith healings, etc and one of the people interviewed was a charismatic Catholic priest through whom healings were happening. He said one thing that I appreciate to this day. He said "Receiving the holy spirit (with speaking in tongues) is like being on a honeymoon with the Lord"

I also found one thing somewhat humorous. He would pray the Catholic stuff "name of father, son, holy ghost," and whatever else...THEN when he was really getting down to business he would use the name of JESUS. (because there is salvation in no other).

CULT ATTACK!!!!!

The person on this video is a Seventh Day Adventist. How do I know? Because he placed Ellen Whites Great Controversy on the seats of the Conference members and it is plugged at the very end of the video. Like most if not all SDA propaganda no mention of the SDA is found anywhere on it apart from where it is slipped in among the list of Denominations in the place where he discusses the role of Music in various Churches.

The main method of deception used by the enemy is to quote the Bible and appear to be holy. It is generally mixed with a dose of falsehood so that the unsuspecting swallow it all like a fish taking bait.

One needs to ask why the SDA are so shy of revealing themselves as the authors and originators of their material and need to use other names as proxies. Deception seems to be their motive. In the Video the presenter discusses how Satan used a Snake as a proxie to deceive Eve. It seems he is still using the same trick today.

So "'The Great contraversy"" is a SDA production.. Well i am not a believer in the SDA so it seems i was right to be wary.. :)

So in this case the enemy of my enemy is also my enemy..

It may, but charismatic catholic not explicitly declare prohibit pray to Mary.

Arlington diocese endorse pope statement to ask Mary to help Renew catholic.

Not who say, but what he say.

I am wondering that if the charismatic movement is from God and is lead from the Holy Spirit, that they have no problem to Support the false teaching pf the RCC. In germany is the charismatic leader of a prayerhouse in Augsburg full accepted from the RCC .

The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend..

Shortly after joining my church and getting baptized I made a visit to the Christian Research Institute in São Paulo - Brazil. I just wanted to verify that my church was biblically correct. The receptionist's first question was: "What is your denomination?". When I said "Christian Congregation" she frowned on me, as if I were the most despicable creature on earth.

The reason why she frowned on me was this: in my church there is no tithing, ministers are unpaid, they don't come from seminaries, women wear a veil, we believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, there is no room for politicians, we don't use the media, etc.

The lady told me to wait and she called someone on the phone. A few minutes later a guy came and started attacking me right off the bat. All I wanted was to hear the pros and cons against my church, but that guy was in no condition to help me at all because he obviously didn't have the Holy Ghost.

I had that guy calm down the best I could and soon we were talking in a more friendly way. Later on another guy came and when he learned that I was from the Christian Congregation he looked at me with contempt and started saying: "I am fluent in Hebrew and Koine Greek, I have a master's in theology, archeology, bla bla bla, ..."

Then, even later, a pastor came and treated me with an even greater contempt. That was the last straw! I thanked the first guy for his attention and went home. The lesson I learned was this: beware of CRI and the like.

Anyway, I would suggest the RCC to start a Catholic Biblical Movement. It's never too late to start searching for the truth.
