God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day. Genesis 1:31. The previous verse given was Genesis 1:28. Woman had already been made.
Gen 2
21So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.

All of us tend to assume that events mentioned in the Bible are necessarily bound to chronological sequencing as they are revealed. Maybe so, maybe not.

I have read the book of Genesis, and to me, we were suppose to be something more, then what we are now. Did you know that as soon as Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge, of Good and Evil, that they felt awkward, Scared, and basically aware that they were naked. LOL. I mean really, if you think about it, they were basically walking around the Garden of Eden, naked, but as soon as they ate that fruit, they felt like they had to cover themselves, when God was calling for them. We weren't suppose to know these emotions like awkwardness, fear, and every single thing that came from that fruit. So what exactly do you think, we were suppose to be if Adam and Eve didn't eat from the Tree. Let me hear your opinions and thoughts on this subject.

Thank you
I honestly don't believe we would be here if it were not for the fall. It would just be Adam and Eve if they did not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

And in all honesty, Adam and Eve would still be on "probation" with the chance to fall. And would still have an incomplete picture of the true nature of the Lord Jesus Christ. The fall gives us the opportunity to know God fully.

His attributes of grace, mercy and perfect Justice would remain hidden to us if it were not for the fall.

We have it easier than Adam and Eve. We are born condemned, and are safe until we reach accountability(Jonah 4:11.) Then have the perfect opportunity to be saved (Acts 16:31/John 3:16)throughout our entire lives. And our salvation is eternal with no chance to perish.

Just imagine if we were born saved and were held accountable to keep ourselves saved! Not one person would make it. That is why The Lord Jesus Christ came for us. He was the only one who could do it.

It is most assuredly not bound to chronological sequencing.

God created the woman's soul within the man(Adam). But the man was the only physical being created first. Later we see the rib(woman) coming out of the man and woman being physically made and united with the man.

It is the picture of Gods marriage for mankind. Right man/Right woman.

1 Cor 6
16Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.”

Genesis 2 still comes before Genesis 3 and the fall of man :)

Some people don't seem to be thinking when they say Adam & Eve would never have reproduced except for the fall.

He originally created them "male & female." That includes both external and internal plumbing. If not intended to procreate, both would have been made "asexual." And so would have all the animals.

Yeah, I don't know where people get this idea of no reproduction on behalf of Adam and Eve....

We were made to be fruitful and to multiply..

Gen 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Sounds pretty clear to me.

Sex was recreation before the fall. After the fall it, was procreation.

You should read about Jesus after his Resurrection to gain appreciation for who Adam and Ever were before the fall. I would also urge you to read Rev 20 & 21, then Genesis 1-2 and in that order, you will see something very important, that is never taught or shown to people.

Had they eaten of the tree of Life before the fall, then they would have recreationally procreated a divine race of people.

As it was the fall took place and thankfully God protected them and ultimately us form being forever sealed in SIN and yes sir, we would be hear and without hope.

Gen 3:22

[SUP]22 [/SUP]Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

I think about things like this too. What I've come up with so far, is that we lost what we will gain in heaven. Our Father in our midst, and everything freely supplied. Starting here as we grow in faith:)

Yeah, I think we would have been what we are now, but without all the bad stuff..

We would have also been innocent, so sin wouldn't be a thing in that sense..

Again, we would have just enjoyed the creation without fear, questions, or philosophical approaches.
Take all that and then think about if they had eaten of the tree of Life

Now take that to the next level and start studying out eternal life with Christ and what the new world will be like in Rev 20-21.

I think many people miss that the beginning is the end.

How did you come to that conclusion? It seems like the opposite since the fall. People want to enjoy sex but not the responsibility that comes with it.
