GOD HEARS YOUR PRAYERS

[HR][/HR]
Some people think that if they were more “right” with God, then He would hear their prayers. For example, they sometimes believe that if they had not quarreled with their wives or had those bad thoughts earlier in the day, then God would answer their prayers.

God is not like that. He wants you to know beyond any doubt that you can always come to His throne of grace with boldness and have every confidence that you will receive His mercy and grace. (Hebrews 4:16) You see, because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, you are already right with God. You don’t need to do anything to make yourself more right with God.

In fact, by faith in Jesus, you have received the righteousness of God Himself! (2 Corinthians 5:21) And no matter how many mistakes you make, you will never lose that righteousness because in the first place, God gave it to you apart from your works. (Romans 4:5–6) In other words, God did not impute righteousness to you because you were good, but because you believed in Jesus.

Because of what Jesus has done for you at the cross, all your sins—past, present and future—are forgiven. God will by no means ever remember your sins or count them against you! (Hebrews 8:12, 10:17)

My friend, because Jesus has been punished for your sins, today, God is not counting your sins against you. This means that your sins won’t stop Him from hearing and responding to your prayers. So you can always run into His presence knowing that you can boldly stand in and enjoy His presence and His love.

When you know this truth, it is going to set you free in your relationship with God. You can talk to Him without fear or any sense of condemnation. You can practice His presence and trust that He always hears you. Should something happen at home or at work, you don’t always have to call for your church leaders—you pray and God hears you!

Beloved, you are righteous in Christ and God hears your prayers—all because of Jesus!

After being around many Christians I know not all believe this truth about God always hearing our prayers. Some Christians believe that sin can stop fellowship with God. This is true based on us moving away from God., not God ever moving away from us. It isn't God's ears that are closed but ours when we are walking according to our own ideas about God and about life. Our feelings of being on a different page than Jesus causes us to not hear the truth.

It isn't the Lord who moves away from us., but us who moved away from Him. But because of Jesus., God is always close to us.,we have the Holy Spirit in us. Grieving the Holy Spirit is not sending Him away (He promises to always be with us)

Now that we IN Christ we are in the beloved at all times, we are always in His sights. The picture of a sheep following the shepherd in the valley comes to mind. The sheep who wanders off and gets tangled in the brush all of the sudden sees the mess he is in and starts yelling. (sheep yelling is an awful sound btw)

Many Christians believe like I used to that unless we made restitution., God would not help us get out of the brush. Years ago I'd plead... oh Lord plllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaassssseee get me out of this mess! I'll do anything you want!! I'll never do this again I promise!!!

Why is that wrong? Because the only reason we have any standing is because of Jesus and His finished work on our behalf before the Father. Not our deal making or our making a good show of how sincere an attempt is being made. Yet for many years that is what the Christian life was all about... how well I could stay out of the brush.

The reality of it is., following Jesus keeps the sheep out of the brush and when we do get caught up in the brush and thorns of life., it's Jesus and His righteousness given to us at the time of our salvation that always gets us out when we call. Not our own goodness and deal making ideas. That is how the world deals with God. Not us His children., His heirs. But not all believers are aware of this major truth and many Christians stay "afar off" from God thinking God is staying afar off from them until they can. But they cannot be good enough or sincere enough or repentant enough to deserve His forgiveness yet again. This Christian doesn't understand what grace means and why we can always and forever go to the throne of grace and find grace and help in time of need.

Joh 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

First prayer God hears is "please be merciful to me a sinner and save me from my sins".

At times living life here on earth can feel like playing a game of Battleship. If any one has ever played this annoying game you know what I mean. You could be going along thinking all is well but all of the sudden the guy on the other side of the game board has positioned his pegs in such a way that he just sunk one of your battleships. And you had no clue it was coming as you were merrily going along thinking you did it according to the rules and right on your side of things. It's a pretty big shock and could be overwhelming in the scheme of things in the natural.

But here's the thing., you can actually do EVERYTHING right as best as you were able in your positioning of the pegs in your life and still., someone or something sinks one of the ships you so painstakingly positioned in safety and security. Or you are made aware that one of your ships is one peg away from being sunk. You are able to picture in your mind (worry) the ship going down unless something happens to save it. The choice to rush around and save the ship at all costs is one of your 1st considerations and one that still comes up even though you learned the hard way not to worry..... Do I try to DO SOMETHING in my worry? OR do I allow Jesus to take care of this for me? And so now..., how will I proceed?

Go back to prayer again and again Pray in tongues pray in faith believing Jesus died to take care of this impossible situation for me because God loves me and wants me to know He is here despite how it feels. The real issue is not the ship sinking but do I believe because of Jesus God will take care of my needs?

Psalms 23

[SUP]1 [/SUP]The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
[SUP]
2 [/SUP]He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.
[SUP]
3 [/SUP]He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
[SUP]
4 [/SUP]Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
[SUP]
5 [/SUP]You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with [SUP][a][/SUP]oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
[SUP]
6 [/SUP]Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

When you were lost, you went as the lost sinner you were and got saved. Now you are IN Christ.,,You are not a sinner., you are a son., a saint., a sheep of His pasture., an heir of the promise. You must believe that before you can proceed. God always hears you because of Jesus.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life not because we deserve it but because we go in the name of Jesus.

Joanie-Marie, I wish you would take your anti-Catholic fears and teachings, and stop trying to convince those of us who have read and studied the Bible our whole lives as Protestants, people who follow the living God, and stop thinking we are all lost, legalistic Catholics.

These hypergrace devotionals must go! As a Evangelical Protestant, who has never had to live under the obvious errors of the Catholic Church, including salvation by the church, rather than by Christ, I really resent your generalizations that JP has inspiration which can set us free.

If you actually read the Bible and posted your own observations, instead of posting JP's devotionals, which always seem to have some MAJOR theological errors in them, I beg you to read the Bible on your own.

It's like you jumped from the Catholic frying pan into the hypergrace fire! Seriously, there is another way! And that is reading the whole Bible for yourself. Pray the Holy Spirit will reveal his truths as you read the Bible. And maybe you will be set free from this cult of hypergrace.

And STOP generalizing that "some Christians" or "many Christians" believe something or other, especially when what they often believe is correct, unlike the devotional you have posted.

Praying God will free you from this terrible cult, which you traded for the massive heresies of the Roman Catholic Church.

There probably are a few hundred prayers being said around the globe at any given moment. I wonder how they are all kept seperate and processed, especially since they probably keep coming moment after moment after moment, etc., etc.

Oh Angela., Good grief woman what are you talking about? I've been saved since 1982 and a Bible Baptist church member most of those years. Heard the Gospel message and brought up after that in the same 5 point Calvinistic Baptist church well aware of the major doctrines of the Christian faith but not in agreement with all of Calvin's teachings anymore.

For some reason you can't get over the fact I just simply do not see the Bible the exact same way you do. I like preachers you don't like.,Joyce Meyer., Joseph Prince., Andrew Wommack., and others to numerous to mention. I speak in tongues and you don't., I believe in healing in the atonement and you don't. Instead of agreeing to disagree., you make up these scenarios of a troubled Catholic back round and other guesstimations you have about me when you and I don't know each other except for the posts we type here.

You need to get over your resentment of me and get over yourself. For woman our age you should be able to agree to disagree by this time., I certainly have learned to do that and I don't have any Greek or Hebrew teaching under my belt. I don't resent you or try to shut you down for posting things you post that I don't agree with. Frankly I don't follow your posts at all.

The only hyper anything going on here is your hyper resentment at me for sharing my faith. The things that are dear to me that I've learned and share here about Jesus are not the same as the things that have happened to you. Well Angela... HELLO I'm not you and you are not me.

But Jesus is Lord and Jesus is the way the truth and the life and Jesus saves., And Jesus is God., and there is no other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved... We agree on the foundations of the Christian faith and have joined CC and are long standing members here. You should be able to co exist with those of us who do not read as you read., do as you do or think as you think or wear the same clothes you wear. Quit being so mean and crabby.

Because of Jesus., God hears us all the time that is a promise in the Bible. He made the promise and it's our choice to believe Him and act on His promises or disbelieve Him and not act on His promises. I chose to believe and act on His promises. I know it pleases Him when we believe. Read Psalm 23 and be blessed as you take in the promises of Jesus our Good Shepherd.

WARNING! FALSE TEACHER ON BOARD AGAIN!

My friend, because Jesus has been punished for your sins, today, God is not counting your sins against you. This means that your sins won’t stop Him from hearing and responding to your prayers. So you can always run into His presence knowing that you can boldly stand in and enjoy His presence and His love.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

3
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

4
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 1:5-2:4).

There is another thread about God's Sovereignty and I asked the question about how do you know if God hears you if He is so impersonal a God and Father that when you pray it will not effect His will? Some believe that when we pray., it has to be in line with God's perfect will. I agree but it's also God's perfect will that He loves us dearly.

So I had to also ask the question in the thread., does God care that down in the portals of time in His perfect will that I asked for a German Shepherd dog? Does He care if I want to live in a house out in the country because of the flowers and room to walk? Does He care that I have a 4 wheel drive SUV for the snow here in Up State NY so I can get to work without getting trapped in the snow? Yes, He cares. And because I believe He loves me and cares I pray in faith.

Yes., I can attest that He does care about those things and He wants me to pray in Jesus name making my requests made known unto Him. It's a loving kind and generous Father who gives us more than we could have imagined. Do we dare ask? Yes we are to ask in faith believing that He loves us and will meet our needs. He is the only reason we have those things we need. Faith is believing and agreeing with God., that is how we receive. If we don't agree we will have a hard time receiving.

Out of all the devotional posted by Prince, why on earth would anyone object to this one?

Who of all of us would say, we are not children of God now through the new spiritual birth? And which of us would deny the Word that says we can come through the veil that's been torn, to come before Father for help in our need? Through His own sacrifice given of His Son?

How is this hyper grace? It's truth!

oldthennew, I hope you aren't teaching, for what you said there, is that we cannot rely on God for His promises.

Out of all the devotional posted by Prince, why on earth would anyone object to this one?
Because Prince failed to post the Scripture which I posted from the first epistle of John, and inform his readers that Christians must take that Scripture to heart and believe it.

Here is what Prince said: "This means that your sins won’t stop Him from hearing and responding to your prayers."

He not only contradicted God, but failed to say what God has said TO CHRISTIANS: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Do you now see how this false teacher continues with his false Hyper Grace teachings?

Hello Preacher.,,, No I don't count you as an enemy at all. :) Just letting you know that I'm no more a heretic than you are or Angela is. I hang out with Christians who don't see the same exact way as you do. I don't think you speak in tongues or believe in healing in the atonement either but that's OK brother Preacher.

There are a whole ton of Christians like me who don't agree 100% with you but we don't count other born again believers as wayward or heretical or foolish or immature. I do know my Bible pretty well and can hold my own in a conversation. Been reading it for years and need to keep reading it and learning from it for more years. I've listened to other people's opinions here and in life and take the good and discard the stuff I don't agree with. That's what we all should do. We don't have to argue to the death. That is for the world not us.

God bless you too! :)

Some here still act as if the veil is still up.

They don't understand adoption, father's love, communion with the Holy Spirit.

They dry read their books and Bible and self conclude what it all means.. aka tradition.. They follow what men say in those extra books.. men with no fire, healed body or heart, no direction, no personal walk/talk with HS...

Their crabby, unhealed, uninspired life's are so in face to everyone except all the like.

The biggest proclaimers of 'truth' don't mirror the word at all.. they sit and pick as if that action is Holy Spirit inspired or taught..

Your joy they envy.. They haven't a clue how you got it... Their books don't teach it so you MUST be wrong..
