As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (Matt 26:26-28)

it is the blood that makes atonement because the life is the blood. that is why we must not eat blood.

there shall no stranger eat of the holy things? a sojourner of the priest or a hired servant shall not eat of the holy things.

count off seven full weeks, from the day you brought the sheaf, you shall offer two loaves of bread baked with yeast. seven one year lamb, one bull two rams, burnt to the lord:p one goat as a sin offering, two lambs as a fellowship offering with the grain and drinks.

anyone who eats anything on that day shall not be considered one of the people of god. because it is the day for performing the ritual to take away the sin of the people. observe this day as a special day of rest. the tenth day of the seventh month, a solemn day of forgiveness. everyone must go without eating to show sorrow for his sins:confused:

you shall put frankincense upon each row that it may be on the bread for a memorial. every Sabbath, 12 loaves of bread must be placed before the lord in two rows, on the pure table. this bread is very holy because it is offered to the lord. that bread belong to the priests and they shall eat it in a holy place:p
every night Aaron shall set up the gold lampstand in the holy place of the sacred tent.

but you will ask, what shall we eat on the seventh year since we are not allowed to plant or harvest. the lord will bless the land in the sixth year so that it will produce enough for two years, then shall the land keep a sabbath. do not even harvest the corn that grows by itself.
