* Ignore everyone on CC who does not agree with you in regard to those things important to you --

* Read only those posts by people you like best --

* Unfriend everyone who does not agree with you in regard to what is important to you

___* Or, at least, stop their posts from coming to you.

* Friend only those you like best,

___* or who adhere to your religious calendar,

___* or even only those who like your music and humor.

That way, your thoughts will not be challenged,
And you can just go on slip sliding away without effort.

Once differences are established and contended.... the agree to disagree and not resort to insults and mocking would be fantastic..

If you think about it... friends are usually folks that do not oppose you.. folks that you have common ground with.. though differences are good.. friends that you belittle and go out of your way to argue with will soon withdraw..
