John 14:6

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Okay...what about those who down through the annals of time died never having read a bible, never had someone witness to them, what about their eternal destiny? Jesus is the only way, and the only way ppl know about Him is through His word. So, what about them?

I think Hebrews 1 is clear. God does not speak to ppl audibly any more. If that's the case in your post, there's no more need of missions and missionaries. 1 Cor. 1:18, Romans 1:16, 10:8-17, Ephesians 1:13, are crystal clear...ppl are saved via the gospel that is proclaimed through the lips of His ppl.

i dont think hebrews 1 says God doesnt speak to people anymore u see...... just says He used to speak to prophets and then in these last days through His son......... but paul said God gave some prophets in the NT era too u see.... in corinthian church there were prophets.

u are right that people are saved by hearing and believing the gospel.
