In addition to needing to rise from the dead, would He also have to spend 3 daytimes as well as 3 night times in the "heart of the earth"?

did He not?

remember dead any part of the day is dead on that day . if you are dead for 1 hour on Sunday and alive on the second hours you still were dead on that day. dead one minute , one hour, or one day is still dead.

Oh... you raise a good question... How long is dead? Non Jews forget to account for the Scripture... JEWISH!!! anything before twilight is a day, sundown to sundown is a day, then sundown to sundown...

Maybe there was daylight savings to, to help the Biblical Writers...lol...
