You know I guess I'm on a thread making frenzy two in one day is a lot for me lol. I figure the bdf can use a thread to not only help others to grow but also to get a bit a laugh.

So to start I have noticed he is a very big fan of the slow and steady. There are many things I seek in him and all of them in deep depth however I am only given a bit at a time and only grow a bit at a time, I literally feel like I am chasing tiny fragments of the things I seek in him like a mad dog like love, his heart, a much deeper and closer bond and connection with him, faith patience and much more. The interesting thing about it however is that while it can be well, annoying it also keeps me chasing after him like crazy seeking even just a little bit more.
It's actually quite clever of him he gives me just enough not to starve but I am still very much hungry.

Now I pass the baton to you:)

something else for me is why do always have to separated? I mean why does it have to be that we cannot just hang out face to face? yes I know the whole adam and eve thing but is it really to much to ask to just maybe occasionally be with him? like even as I am going on my walks he could just show up and walk with me or something you know?

You already know the answer, He is teaching you patience:D and the more you wait the better it will be when you finally do walk with Him face to face.

You guys have reminded me of a book that was written on the 80's, the title was "I Prayed For Patience and Other Horror Stories"

That is one thing you do not want to pray for, because to get patience we have to go through things that are going to test us.;) Would it be great if we prayed for it and the Lord would just say the word and we would have it without going through the ringer to get it.

It took me a few readings to catch it but that's basically what's happening to the girl in Song of Solomon. First round he is right there. 2nd round she has to go get him, 3rd round she has to go further, etc. He keeps drawing her out to him further and further.

Ask him to commune with you. He'll do that as you walk, work, or any other thing that allows you some thinking time. He just kinda brings a topic to you and asks "What do you think about such-and-such"?

Also, don't let the Adam thing limit you too much. According to the scriptures, God spoke with Moses as a man speaks with his friend...face to face. It doesn't say Moses was able to SEE him each time he did that, but you know the feeling when you are having a heart to heart conversation with a true friend. You don't need to be looking at them. They might be in the next room or on the bed across the room late at night. It's the quality of the interaction that matters.

I asked God if he would be willing to talk to me like that too... and guess what, the answer was/is yes. He didn't say "Yes."... he just started talking to me like that. Basically that's how I get the stuff I post in the threads... through talking with God about stuff. And yes, I'm sure he's willing to talk to you that way too.

(I'm just going to advise you that you'll still have to read your bible and pray if you want it to work. He still says "SEEK...and ye shall find". Little seeking = Little finding. Much seeking = :) :) ) And you'll want to be open to him showing you stuff that can kinda blow your mind. But he's got patience.. he'll stick with you if you have to take several months(or even years) to digest what he's sharing.

Happy seeking!

Love in Jesus,
Kelby

Remember when Jesus appeared to John in the book of Revelations? John fell at his feet as though dead.(see Revelations 1:17) Overwhelmed in his presence. I can imagine that we would respond the same way if God appeared to us in majesty.

Don't want to make fun but seriously Johnny...you can't walk with somebody 'face to face'....one of you has 'to turn....and it won't be Jesus !
I have thought about this for a long time (months) and meeting God face to face does not mean we are 'on HIS side...but rather 'facing up to Him, be in opposition...and it shows when we are self-willed and disobedient.
We can only 'walk with Him when we are facing the same way and are in total agreement with Him.
Christians have some turning to do ...since they have been twisted a few times !
