I'm new to the site and new to Christ, well I fell away for church praying even from God but I came back. My question is... will we who believe in Christ go through the tribulation? And if so, how are we to survive it? It's just sounds so scary the things to come... ,concerned about my tiny babies.

Sorry if it's an annoying question just want to help others around me

just because someone knows who Christ is doesn't mean they are saved from anything. You have to learn what it is he's teaching u and follow him as an example of how you should be.
I understand what you are saying about your babies, you want to make sure to teach them right, in my personal experience so much that was taught to me was not entirely correct and now as a parent I want to make sure to teach them right and not confuse them the way I was confused. I lived the first 20 years of my life with the understanding of God as i was taught, but once I opened that bible and really searched for HIM I found out there was so much more I didn't know. Here I am 20 years later and im still discovering what he's always wanted me to
know.
Anyways not an annoying question. welcome to cc

I think you should be generally ready to die and that your close ones can die too.

It has little to do with the question of the tribulation. People under the Nazi rule, for example, had to make the same decision too - God or world.

I understand that. I repented and confessed Him as my savior. I understand we have to follow Christ as an example I'm learning that by reading my Word.

While trofimus is correct in that we should always be prepared to die for our faith (Christians die for their faith every day in the middle east, and there's no guarantee things will not deteriorate to that point here), I believe that Christians will be gathered to Christ (the rapture) before THE tribulation begins. God has not appointed us to wrath. You did not say how old your kids are, but if they're young, they are protected by your salvation (1 Cor 7:14).

The only people who had to go through that tribulation Jesus spoke of were the people Jesus was referencing in His speech, and who were alive from about 30-65 AD, when the tribulation He spoke of happened.

All the rest of the hassles and troubles (tribulation) we all go through down through history will happen as they happen, and if we are near the stuff, obviously some of it will affect us to a greater or lesser extent, as happenstances dictate.

Where does re tribulation period for 7 years come from?
Tribulation period?
I've heard the phrase. But honestly havnt found any mention of it in scripture.

The first seven yr service I recall in the Living Word is that of Jacob.
Hope is a Light not hidden.
Something of the parable of the prodigal son that someone pointed out to me recently reminded me of a fathers love. When the son started his return to his father's house. It was his father who ran out to greet him.
The father did this without so much as a thought or ear to the scoffers that might have put a stumblingblock before his child.
The father ran out to greet his son were he was.
Neither did the father heed
Even the elder brother who would decry his younger sibling.

I imagine if I were the elder sibling, I would of ran after my younger sibling alongside my father.

Blessings Always

Just so you are aware, if you are expecting to get one answer to your questions here that everyone agrees on, it will not happen. People hold different views on things, particularly eschatology (the end times). Willie (and a few others here) believe the tribulation is past. Others of us believe it is still future. Personally, I am absolutely convinced it is future.

Where does re tribulation period for 7 years come from?
I believe THE tribulation is found in a couple of places in the Bible. The first is Daniel's 70th week.

Daniel 9:
24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

25) Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Daniel is describing 70 "weeks" of years, 490 in total. The first 69 weeks were fulfilled at the death of Jesus Christ, the 70th week (period of 7 years) has not happened yet. That will be the trib.

Also, there are verses in Daniel and Revelation that describe two periods of 3 1/2 years each, making a total of 7 years.

If there is a tribulation of the saints in the future that will be terrible persecution worldwide that is the worse ever in the history of mankind, not that the persecution will be greater on an individual level, for persecution is persecution, but it will be on a bigger scale affecting all Christians, and not only certain areas like now,do not worry about it.

Sure it sounds scary, and we might fear it,but if you are on God's side in the truth, your attitude will be different, for when it comes, and you are being persecuted the Holy Spirit will come upon you,and you will not care about their persecution for you will have the courage, and the strength,to endure it,and be like Paul that basically said, bring it,do not sing it,for he said I am ready to depart from this world having done what the Lord sent me to do.

We will fear it now,and rightfully so,but do not worry, when it comes your attitude will be different, and the Spirit will get you through the persecution like the Spirit got Jesus through the persecution, and cross, and God can comfort, and lessen the pain,of their persecution, which I believe God will not allow them to torture the saints, but it would be quick, and we will be with Jesus, for when the world gets to that time, they are of the occult, nature worship, acknowledges no personal God,but honor the God of forces,or the power of nature, which they are in to spiritual evolution through nature,so they are not going to play around with people that oppose them, but they want them off the world fast, and will not toy with them, because that is their attitude for the world is all they have, and know,so they will want them off their precious earth fast.

The Bible says the saints shall be hated of all nations, and the Gospel must be preached in to all the world for a witness unto all nations, then the end shall come, which then comes the end when the Son shall have delivered up the kingdom to the Father, when He shall have put down all rule and authority.

Since Jesus did not put down all rule and authority on earth, and the saints have not been gathered unto Christ, the end has not come,so it appears that there is a persecution of the saints that will happen in the future that will be worldwide for they shall be hated of all nations, and the Gospel must be preached in to all the world, which could of not happened years ago,for the Gospel could not reach that far at that time.Mainly by technology it is possible for the Gospel to be preached in all the world, which the book of Daniel will also be able to be understood in the end time because of advanced travel, and advanced technology, for the saints can hear and see what is going on in the world, therefore understanding the end time of how they can come together and rebel against God,and persecute the saints.

So be of good cheer, and do not worry, for we might fear now,but when it comes,if you are there,it will be a whole different attitude upon you when they persecute you,and it will not bother you for you will be so strong in the Lord, for the Spirit will toughen you up,and God can comfort, and lessen the pain,of persecution.

It's not that I don't believe in (a) rapture. But, the bad thing, that has happened, to the detriment of every church that constantly preaches about it? Is it has become a SNARE, or trap. "OH!?!!" "I believe and have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior!" "I'm going to be raptured!" "I don't need to understand the Word of God, or Jesus ANY further!" (and) "SHAME on all those bad people!" "they are going to get what's coming to them alrighty!" "But, me?" "I'll be GONE!" "No needs, in pressing on to the High "Calling" of God, in Christ Jesus!" What a bunch of horse hockey (thank you Col. Potter )

Too broad. Stereotypes are painted up lies

I am pretrib and none of that describes me.

Btw there are no post trb rapture verses in the bible.
Jesus even destroyed that concept personally

I do not think Christians will be on the earth when the tribulation takes place. I believe the rapture will take place first, where all Christians will be gathered to Christ (1 Cor 15:51ff and 1 Thes 4:13ff). Once Christians are removed from the earth, the trib will commence.

In nearly 30 years of being a Christian I have Never once met one with this attitude. Nor ever heard a church teach something like that. Amazing how you say "every church" while I've never seen even one. Have you visited every church and heard them all say this?
