A. When does light become darkness?
B. When does darkness become light?

(Ezekiel 32:8)
All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, And bring darkness upon your land,’ Says the Lord GOD.

(Luke 11:35)
“Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.

There is no such thing as actual darkness. You will never hear someone say, "Hey, shine some dark over here."

Darkness is always just the absence of light.

Ezekiel 32:8 - has to do greatly with the rise and fall of nations. The degree of their Judgment has to do with the Light once given, and rejected.

Luke 11:35 - this speaks of deception; the Verse could be translated, "take heed therefore that the light that is in you be not artificial light, and therefore darkness."

Remember, darkness creates hatred - Light creates love.

Light becomes darkness when the Believer doesn't enter into sanctification. Darkness becomes Light when you are born-again.

A bruised reed shall He not break, and the smoking flax shall He not quench: He shall bring forth judgment unto truth (Isaiah 42:3; Matthew 12:20). (This presents the image of the weak and depressed in spirit, the lowly and dejected. Christ would deal tenderly with such, not violently. Where the flame of devotion burns at all, however feebly and dimly, the Messiah will take care not to quench it, trim it, give it fresh oil, and cause it to burn more brightly.)

As I understand it: From the perspective of the Jewish calendar----

The day begins when 3 stars can be seen in the sky

Sunset occurs when the bottom of the disk of the sun is below the horizon

twilight is from sunset until you can no longer discern colors.

dusk is from the end of twilight until you can no longer discern shapes 100 ft away.

darkness is from when shapes are no longer discernible until they become discernible again

predawn is from when shapes become discernible until colors are discernible

dawn is from when colors are discernible until sunrise.

sunrise occurs when the top of the disk of the sun is above the horizon.

It is likely that some people use different descriptors.

Spiritual darkness & literal darkness are not the same.

A. When does light become darkness?
Since God is Light, light never becomes darkness (whether supernatural light, natural light, or metaphorical light).
B. When does darkness become light?
Since Satan is the ruler of the Kingdom of Darkness, darkness (spiritual) never becomes light.

As to Luke 11:35, it was addressed to "the people" (the lost and the saved). What the Lord was implying is that all men have the "light" of conscience to keep them from sin and evil. So it was a warning to all to not quench their conscience so that they would become totally evil, which would mean that the "light" had become "darkness". See John 1:9 and Romans 2:14,15 for clarification.

A. When does light become darkness?
B. When does darkness become light?...
A. When we are not focused on God's Truth and Love, we do not see the light (the Greater Reality). Self-deception keeps us from being true and real, and all is hidden , denied, and not accepted.
B. When we focus on God's Truth and Love, we see clearly what is true and real. This clarity is like turning on the light, all is revealed, exposed, and accepted.

...(Ezekiel 32:8) All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, And bring darkness upon your land,’ Says the Lord GOD....
(Ezekiel 32:7) When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light.

...(Luke 11:35) “Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.
(Luke 11:34) Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness.

So are there not twelve hours in the day?
If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

Christ is the light of the world, satan is the darkness, satan is coming and he will claim to be Christ, his deception is darkness and will deceive most of the Christians. God bless
