I do not know much of anything about Freemasonry so I ask this question. What would be the Christian's view about it?

At its core it is Satanic. There are many levels within Freemasonry and most members are at the lower levels where they are fed some mild truths to keep the membership fees coming in. They are not told the Truth about Freemasonry until they get to the highest levels. Christians should never join this secret society, but the ones that do have been led astray. The Bible is very clear about not taking oaths as well as doing things in secret. This whole Society is all about Secrets and Oaths of Secrecy. The scary thing is when you get to the 30th degree and higher you start find out a little at a time that thier great Architect is none other than Lucifer himself. A Christian has no place taking the oaths of secrecy that they will not reveal to a non mason anything or any secrets or they will be/or can be killed for revealing it. Dont listen to people or other masons try to tell you there is nothing sinister about this group. Many Freemasons die without ever knowing what their society is really about, so they are not all evil people. But the Organization IS Evil and Christians according to the Bible should have never taken those secret oaths. I suggest you do some research on this if you want to find out exactly what it is thats going on. It will take years to study this though. I just gave you a honest simple and to the point answer on it though.

It mixes a lot of paganism with Christianity. There is some (spiritually) dangerous oath-swearing involved. Avoid. Pray heavily if you know someone who is involved. Pray for The Lord to help them see the truth and set them free.

We have had several presidents of our country who joined this society, at least I think we have.

I know lots, have researched primary resources (not internet sensationalism) for over ten years for personal reasons.

There is much I could write, suffice it to say they have used Christianity as their cover, but the knowledge or light they pursue through symbolism and ritual is centered around obtaining relationship with Lucifer who they believe is the is the giver of light (knowledge).

I cannot stand lounges and secret societies. Freemasonry is very dangerous. They easily fool ppl to enter because u have to have a religion to enter and its full with witchcraft.

I don't know much about it either but I think any organization that has secret practices must be suspect.

Besides, Christianity should be shouted from the rooftops and not done in secret

The higher degrees are by invitation only, even at the 30th degree it is still only at the cusp of their secret knowledge.

While they do still try to actively recruit, I have known many who have resisted.

Freemasons are not told about the truth of freemasonry at any level, that would destroy the whole purpose of their existence.

Freemasonry is below other hidden sects.

My Dad was a high Muckety-Muck on the "Divan" of the Shriner Temple Ararat in Kansas City. (Advanced Masons) One thing I can tell you is that it costs a fortune to stay up with all that stuff. And way too much drinking and time invested for me. Both my brother and I turned-down an offer by Dad to get us into the group.

Be on your guard against Freemasons, they are always trying to creep into churches. A friend of mine dropped out of his church as soon as he found out that his pastor was a Freemason.

We have had several presidents of our country who joined this society, at least I think we have.
When Satan tempted Jesus to take a short cut and avoid the cross, and showed him ALL the empires THROUGHOUT history to present, He saw the Roman, Mongolian, Aztec, Mayan, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, British, German, AND YOU CAN BET, The AMERICAN empire. Jesus didn't question whether it was Satan's to give, in fact it would be no temptation at all if they aren't.

Not to say that God isn't the One ultimately in control, and there have been good Godly people in some, but this is yet another proof that Jesus has yet to reign on David's Earthly Throne, as promised to Mary by The Angel Gabriel.
