Default SHE WAS HEALED OF HER AFFLICTION

For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
    Mark 5:28–29

    BELIEVING IS RECEIVING

You have heard people of the world say, “I will believe it only when I see it.” Generally, that is the way the world thinks. But God’s ways are not like the ways of the world. The world says, “If I can’t feel it or see it, I cannot believe the miracle is here.” God says, “If you believe it before you feel it or see it, you will see your miracle.”

Believing first before seeing the evidence of what we are believing for is called faith. Faith is like a spark and Jesus is the dynamite powder.

In the story of the healing of the woman with the issue of blood, there were many people who touched Jesus (Mark 5:31), but nothing happened to them. They didn’t touch Him in faith. But when the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years came to Him and touched Him in faith, He felt power leave His body (Mark 5:30), and it sparked off an explosion of healing in the woman’s body!

Hearing about how good, kind and loving Jesus was fired her faith to believe that He could and would heal her. So convinced was she (even when the condition in her body was still evident) that she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Did she experience her healing first before she believed? No, she believed first in Jesus’ goodness and power, acted in faith and only then felt the healing in her body.

In the same way, God wants you to believe in His goodness and love toward you. He wants you to know how willing He is to act on your behalf to bless you, and how, with Christ, He will freely give you every good thing. (Romans 8:32)

He wants you to declare by faith that all is and shall be well with you, and to expect to see just that. And then, no matter how long you have had the problem, no matter how bad the experts say it is, an explosion of healing and restoration will take place, and you will receive what you are believing for!

I've been reading many of the posts here on CC and am so aware of the different beliefs of different Christians when it comes hundreds of things in the Bible including healing in the atonement. Does this mean we cannot share what we as Christians believe is true? No., I don't agree with every different Christian here but would not try to silence them.

Just to make it clear., I'm one of the many Christians here who believes we have healing on every level in Christ's atonement. Those promise I've discovered come as we walk out our lives and learn of Christ and what He did. I was not always of this belief because I was always taught it was not real.

So of course since it was never shared with me as true I could not have dared to have faith in this area. But due to much affliction in my life., I came to know it is Jesus who comes to our aide in every impossible situation. By grace through faith these promises are mine just as they were when I first received Christ. He has delivered me and is still delivering me from so many afflictions while I walk out my Christian life learning more about grace through faith.

Being saved was a promise and as Eph.2:8-9 says
For by grace you have been saved through faith., and that not of yourselves it's a gift of God not of works lest any one should boast.

We walk out the Christian life the exact same way we first came into the life of Christ... by grace through faith. Last night I found a post by another member of CC that made such an impression on me I saved it. It's worth re posting.

    Lack of Knowledge
    Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

    Lack of Vision
    Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
(see also: 2 Corinthians 4:4, and Ephesians 1:18)

    Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred (put off) makes the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.

    Being Carnal Minded
    Romans 8:1-7
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

    Not Understanding the Lord's Body
    1 Corinthians 11:28-30
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

    Unbelief
    Hebrews 4:2-11
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

    Choosing to Reject Deliverance
    Hebrews 11:35
...and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection

Some choose to not receive deliverance and go on to Heaven, even though deliverance has been made available to them through the anointing in God's Word.

Our goal in staying here should be to impact as many lives as possible to not only make decisions for Christ to become born-again believers, but to learn and grow up to become overcomers in this life.

Each one of those topics are ones I walked through on a daily basis. The seeking of answers from the Bible and asking the questions of what healing means for me today. What kind of healing can I expect Lord? Can and will you get me through this problem? Will You use amazing miracles?

I've discovered that miracles mostly come as I'm living the simple daily life. They come as we go along in the walk of grace through faith. Although at times God has showered a few shocking instant miracles on me and they so encouraged me to know He was right there with me at that very moment., it caused me to stop and get on my knees and cry in shock and amazement.

But mostly I've been made aware of the Holy Spirit as a moment by moment friend who never leaves. Who always stays and who will always help me. It's true that in this life we will have tribulation because the world...flesh and devil will attack our faith in God's constant presence. But I've learned that knowing about His love in Christ is graciously mine., I can move in this life with confidence that what He says He will do. I wait in joyful anticipation for the answers and problems to be solved by focusing on His grace through faith.

This is a daily walk that is joyful but it is also like walking through a cave holding Jesus hand by faith trusting He will get me through to the other side. And He always has.

Where does God say that? I googled the quoted part and the only citations I found is stuff from Joseph Prince. This leads me to think either Joseph Prince thinks he is God, is God, or is a liar.

80% of Americans consider themselves "Christian." 80% of America is not Christian. There are Christians somewhere in that 80% though.

So, nope, not silencing Christians. Not silencing you. I am, however, not letting you bring a new god forward and pretend he is The Lord, to try to convince others to follow your god unchallenged.

See the difference? You're not a martyr. You are deceived! I hope for two things every time I challenge you:
    1. I hope the Lord brings you new life.
    2. I hope no one else follows you to be tricked into the same lie.

I'm not a martyr either. However, I will not stand silently, why you play the victim card to persuade people into a false god of your choosing.

I believe that Jesus healed the hemorrhaging woman because He knew that she trusted Him to heal her. This is similar to the leper who was healed as recorded in Matthew 8. The leper said to Jesus, "If You are willing, You can make me clean". Jesus said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed".

I don't think that the woman was waiting for or wishing for something that she could not see. I would dare say that she wasn't thinking to herself, "If I say or think the right words or things, then God HAS to grant my request". Rather, I think she believed that Jesus had the power to heal her and trusted Him based on that.

We must also remember that Christ could have NOT healed the woman, and He would have been perfectly just and loving in that scenario too.
So you're telling me this is a signature line??

Born again people are called to walk in the reality of faith. Unsaved people can't do that because they don't have Jesus and the new and living way. We do have this new reality., this new and living way. Hebrews 11:1 is foolishness to the unsaved person.

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Thankfully we also have the Bible to read and study and the Holy Spirit to teach and guide us on the way. Jesus came at such a time to be revealed and He was seen by many people and He healed many people before the Holy Spirit came. The Bible records Jesus saying that He is the representation of the Father. When we want to see God, we look at Jesus. When Jesus left the earth., He said He had to go in order that the Holy Spirit would come. There is a proper way in each scenario., or better said., covenant. Today we are in the new covenant. No longer under law but under grace.

Another misleading gem from the prince of false teachers -- Joseph Prince. So let's see what Scripture actually teaches:

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (Mt 24:9,10)

23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

    24
Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

    25
    Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

    26
    In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city,in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

    27
In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

    28
Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. (2 Cor 11:23-28)

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. (Rom 8:35,36)

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (2 Tim 3:12)

When a person says "the Lord has said", when He didn't say anything, that person is a false prophet even if his "prophecy" comes true.

If anyone had faith it was the apostle Paul. And as a result he suffered greatly, as did all the other apostles.

So to suggest that "all shall be well with you" is grossly misleading and deceptive, since it has absolutely no biblical basis. To take the incident of the woman who was healed because of her faith and then postulate that there will be nothing but smooth sailing for Christians is utter nonsense.

How many times do we have to tell people "BEWARE FALSE TEACHER ON BOARD" when Prince's nonsense is posted? JP always manages to present some truth along with serious doctrinal errors (and then brags about himself).

The sentence was “If you believe it before you feel it or see it, you will see your miracle.”

I don't think if you can match that to Hebrews with poorly-formed blinders, a fall of mirrors, some spray paint, elbow grease, and a crow bar.

Just heard this morning "When we label people., we give ourselves permission to discredit them and even hate them." God loves everyone. God so loved the world. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

Its somewhat humorous that people are liking your post here as if to say, "Yay! Suffering!" I only hope that your usage of these verses in such a manner does not rob someone of the hope that Christ offers them. I hope that your post does not rob someone of that mustard seed size of faith that they need to be healed because they are "suffering and therefore it must be God's will."

What hope have we robbed people of, when we tell them it is God's will that they suffer? What faith have we dismantled when we come in agreement with the age old saying that life is a...[expletive] and then you die? Is God not our deliverer? You speak folly of those you oppose yet yourself commit theft with your own doctrines. That is truly heart breaking. What hope do we offer the sick, the lame, the diseased and the oppressed when we put forth a doctrine that simply says to endure?

No. Have faith, believe in God the lover of your soul! There is deliverance. There is healing. Look to God and no other. For in Him is our healing found.

    yeah

are people really liking a post because it speaks of the reality of what Paul suffered for preaching the gospel?

you know, I don't think so

maybe they are just trying to bring balance to an otherwise very UNbalanced use of scripture

    uh huh

pretty sure that is actually it

is our hope in Christ or in what He can do or in our own ability to repeat scripture in our desire to create our own reality?

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (2 Tim 3:12)
and is the above verse true or not? is it maybe spurious? or was Paul lacking faith?

honestly, presenting one side without the other, is WRONG FOR EITHER SIDE

if you have half an apple, you have half an apple. half an apple will turn brown when the cut side is exposed to oxygen...let's call oxygen 'the truth'

the truth, exposes what is wrong and what is wrong, is the MISSING HALF

    or the converse, right?

let's hope people do not get the wrong idea and get discouraged if they are NOT healed and blame themselves, or worse, blame God and walk away.

some are healed and some are not

    period

Paul asked THREE times and God said nuh uh...My strength (God's) is SUFFICIENT for you...now we might try asking how many walk in the strength of their faith whether or NOT God grants them an affirmative answer to their prayers, supplications, fastings and so on
