What is "the revelation of Jesus Christ" ? Gal.1:11-12.
Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

It would mean that Paul received his teachings and the truth from Jesus Christ, and was not taught by a person.

When Paul was going to Damascus Jesus encountered him,and from then on Jesus gave him instructions of what to do,and revealed the truth to Paul.

Paul had a revelation of Jesus Christ for He met Jesus on the road to Damascus.

The Bible says we need not that any person teach us but the Spirit will teach us,but of course we might hear the word of God from people, but the understanding comes from the Spirit.

It would probably do people a lot more good to not give heed to the interpretation of other people without checking it out,but read the Bible guided by the Spirit, for if that happened there would be a whole lot less disagreements, but of course we should go to Church, and listen to preaching, but find out the truth for yourself first before someone lays an improper foundation about something, and the Bible says when they do preach the word of God search the scriptures daily to see if what they say is true.

God says if any person wants wisdom to ask God who gives to all people liberally nothing wavering, which God does not give the preacher,or the greatest teacher, more wisdom than a common pew sitter that does not get noticed in the Church, for He gives knowledge to all who seek it.

The word "revelation" means to take the lid off or cover off and reveal something....in this case Paul is saying that the things Paul had learned and knew concerning the word of God were directly revealed from Jesus himself and not some man teaching Paul....

as applied to the book of Revelation.....it reveals Jesus as GOD, this is what is going to happen when He comes and everybody better worship him that made it all <----very brief summation.

Revelation = An unvieling or disclosure.

The Book is both, a disclosure from & unvieling of Jesus the Christ. First it makes ir clear, Jesus The SON (Matt 16:16) who was God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16) is the OT Almighty/Jehovah (Rev 1:8). The 1st & last - beginning & end. (Isa 44:6 & 48:12 & Rev 1:17 & 21:6)

Genesis explains the beginning of an age, to include man's fall. Revelation reveals the end of an of an age, to include man's redemption. Many visions & symbols of the resurrected Christ are seen. Christ/Jehovah the SON, who alone earned, & has been given the right to judge & rule in Righteousness.
