Hello everyone!

Please share what WISDOM from above described in James 3:17 means to you!
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy."

I'll go first, to me it is .....

Pure - no selfish motive, no wrong understandings, clean, not carnal
Peaceable - just feels right to the soul, no guilty conscience
Gentle - no anger, no need to control or have my own way
Willing to yield - focus is on God and His Will
Full of Mercy - not offensive or easily offended
Full of Good Fruits - does good works pleasing in God's sight that are produce good fruit in the person's life
Without Partiality - no stipulations, freely given to all that ask
Without Hypocrisy - is not contrary to God's Will or His Word.

Also, we need the power of God's Holy Spirit to teach us how to correctly:

- recognize;
- discern;
- know;
- understand;
- love;
- choose; and
- do

the perfect will of the Father because any thing contrary to His Will is complete, utter foolishness and a waste of our time. :)

“What I am leaving with you is shalom — I am giving you my shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened. 28 You heard me tell you, ‘I am leaving, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have been glad that I am going to the Father; because the Father is greater than I.

29 “Also, I have said it to you now, before it happens; so that when it does happen, you will trust.
30 “I won’t be talking with you much longer, because the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me; 31 rather, this is happening so that the world may know that I love the Father, and that I do as the Father has commanded me.

“When you come to a town or village, look for someone trustworthy and stay with him until you leave. 12 When you enter someone’s household, say, ‘Shalom aleikhem!’ 13

If the home deserves it, let your shalom rest on it; if not, let your shalom return to you.

14 But if the people of a house or town will not welcome you or listen to you, leave it and shake its dust from your feet! 15 Yes, I tell you, it will be more tolerable on the Day of Judgment for the people of S’dom and ‘Amora than for that town!
In pairs the Lord sent them...

Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength!

11 Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary. 12 For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. 13 So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing. 14

Therefore, stand!
Have the belt of
truth buckled around your waist,[b]
put on righteousness for a breastplate,[c]

15
and wear on your
feet the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom.[d]

16 Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One. 17

And take
the helmet of Salvation(deliverance;[e] along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God; 18 as you pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people.

Is first pure - Chaste, holy, and clean.

Peaceable - Living in peace with others, and promoting peace among men.

Gentle - Meek, modest, of an equal mind, taking everything in good part, and putting the best construction upon all the actions of others.

Easy to be entreated - Not stubborn nor obstinate; of a yielding disposition in all indifferent things; obsequious, docile.

Full of mercy - Ready to pass by a transgression, and to grant forgiveness to those who offend, and performing every possible act of kindness.

Good fruits - Each temper and disposition producing fruits suited to and descriptive of its nature.

Without partiality - Without making a difference - rendering to every man his due; and being never swayed by self-interest, worldly honor, or the fear of man; knowing no man after the flesh.

Without hypocrisy - Without dissimulation; without pretending to be what it is not; acting always in its own character; never working under a mask. Seeking nothing but God's glory, and using no other means to attain it than those of his own prescribing.
