Hello everyone!
Please share what WISDOM from above described in James 3:17 means to you!
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy."
I'll go first, to me it is .....
Pure - no selfish motive, no wrong understandings, clean, not carnal
Peaceable - just feels right to the soul, no guilty conscience
Gentle - no anger, no need to control or have my own way
Willing to yield - focus is on God and His Will
Full of Mercy - not offensive or easily offended
Full of Good Fruits - does good works pleasing in God's sight that are produce good fruit in the person's life
Without Partiality - no stipulations, freely given to all that ask
Without Hypocrisy - is not contrary to God's Will or His Word.
Also, we need the power of God's Holy Spirit to teach us how to correctly:
- recognize;
- discern;
- know;
- understand;
- love;
- choose; and
- do
the perfect will of the Father because any thing contrary to His Will is complete, utter foolishness and a waste of our time.
