Some say it isn't.
Some say it is.
Do you have to do anything more?

17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

18
And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

19
Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

20
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

21
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 17:17-31 KJB).

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Believe that when Jesus died on the cross, and rose from the dead, for the remission of sins - that He did it for you.

What more can one add to our faith in the work of the cross for salvation but our own works? And if we are adding our own works, what does that say about Grace?

Is your life's goal to stand without moving? If not, which way will you walk if given the freedom to choose? Is it a matter of have to, or is it a matter of who you are? The reality of the Spiritual world has already been set in place and explained to us by God thru His Word, what does it say will happen to you if you are controlled by God's Spiritual guise and Lordship as you live it out? What does it say will happen if the devil controls you in Spirit as you live it out?

The question I see you asking is, "can I change Spiritual Truth to do as I please and be my own god?" The answer to that is "No."

What can you do to please God enough he will overturn the many death penalties you have been charged with?

I could never please God, but His Son Jesus Christ pleased Him.

So the only thing I could do is believe and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who did everything we could not do.

So faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is what pleases God?

Hebrews 11:6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
