Default To those whom the Lord has called

    12:12
...,"do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,
for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”

    Greetings and Shalom everyone,

For those who may have already become acquainted with me, Blessings in the name of the Lord be upon you as the Lord so has called you to be a Minister Fire.
And for all readers, thankyou for the courage the Good Lord has bestowed upon you to visit this forum as member of the Body of the Holy One of Yisrayl.

If anyone would like to address me personally in any manner of endearment. Please, call me pin. Being short for pinacled i have grown fond of friends who have done so.

    Now then.
As for the condition of your individual walk with the Lord and growing to the maturity of confidence of our Good Lords Promises. He will work in his will toward each of you as potter to clay till the day you should be so Blessed as to find a friend in this world to walk tandom as a witness and disciple. Having being equiped with the whole armor of G-d i look forward to meeting such soldiers in an ripe old age myself.
Just as our Lord sent his brothers out in pairs, walk likewise with your brothers and sisters in all circumstance. For where two are gather their the Lord will be.

Be vigilant of the very ground you tread and maintain the integrity of humilty, always assured that your brother and sister in the Lord will keep guard.

    As for the bible discussion.
Remember to Keep near your Heart First and Foremost our Lords instruction as a Helmet of Deliverance(salvation)....
His Word is Live in You and is the Sword guard the Way.

Moses was a man. A normal man with a great story about His origin and how He survived His birth.. He was supposed to be killed at birth by the orders of Pharaoh.. But by the actions of His mother and the intervention of an Egyptian princess he survived and was brought up as an Egyptian..

But He knew he was a Hebrew and upon seeing the cruelty being put upon the Hebrews in anger he murdered an Egyptian guard and then fled Egypt to the east and was content to live out His days as a sheep herder with the people of that rejoin, until the LORD changed Moses life by visiting Him in the burning bush and selecting him to be a prophet to go back to Egypt and bring about the liberation of the Hebrew people from slavery and bring them to the promised land..

    I guess that's a start..

Even Moses was given kind advice in a time of need.
Something the Lord brought to my attention recently was the integrity of men who held dear the Instruction handed to moses.

These men were of character that reminded me of How the the Good Lord reminds all of what the Lords will in spoken word is a testimony for those who Love God.

If anyone were to read of such men who took to heart and were given the task to collect the materials needed for the Tabernacle. They might just find a Treasure hidden.

Moses was most definitely a type of Christ, and when you examine the record Moses started out with self-doubt and ended up with outstanding leadership, and a real heart for his people. But with Christ there was never any self-doubt, since He knew what He would have to do before anything was created.

So Moses was a servant in God's House whereas Jesus is the Son -- the owner of that House. Interestingly enough, Moses did NOT have a Hebrew name per se, but an Egyptian name given by Pharaoh's daughter. Moses = Moshe = to draw out of water (in Hebrew) but "son" (in Egyptian). But he left the glory of Egypt to serve God, and for that he is commended (Heb 11:23-28). Unfortunately the Jews were so committed to Moses that they failed to believe his prophecy regarding the future Prophet -- Christ -- who must be obeyed upon penalty of death:

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

    24
    By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

    25
    Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

    26
Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

    27
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

    28
Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

I have come to believe that God does call very normal men.. Because God wants the message to be Him message through a man.. Not the mans message.. God wants people to focus on Him not make gods out of men.. If God Chose men of great presence and great eloquence then maybe people would start glorifying then man.. So He will chose guys like Moses and Jonah men with faults.. So that people will focus on the message and not the messenger..

The part of calling that struck me most.

Is that every messenger ran in fear.

This is something that I have rarely heard. Of all of the Lord's called messengers, I can only think of One that was blameless (pure hearted)

Exodus 2 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

2 A man from the family of Levi took a woman also descended from Levi as his wife. 2 When she conceived and had a son, upon seeing what a fine child he was, she hid him for three months. 3 When she could no longer hide him, she took a papyrus basket, coated it with clay and tar, put the child in it and placed it among the reeds on the riverbank. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.

5 The daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe in the river while her maids-in-attendance walked along the riverside. Spotting the basket among the reeds, she sent her slave-girl to get it. 6 She opened it and looked inside, and there in front of her was a crying baby boy! Moved with pity, she said, “This must be one of the Hebrews’ children.” 7 At this point, his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Would you like me to go and find you one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?” 8 Pharaoh’s daughter answered, “Yes, go.” So the girl went and called the baby’s own mother. 9 Pharaoh’s daughter told her, “Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will pay you for doing it.” So the woman took the child and nursed it. 10 Then, when the child had grown some, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter; and she began to raise him as her son. She called him Moshe [pull out], explaining, “Because I pulled him out of the water.”

(iii) 11 One day, when Moshe was a grown man, he went out to visit his kinsmen; and he watched them struggling at forced labor. He saw an Egyptian strike a Hebrew, one of his kinsmen. 12 He looked this way and that; and when he saw that no one was around, he killed the Egyptian and hid his body in the sand. 13 The next day, he went out and saw two Hebrew men fighting with each other. To the one in the wrong he said, “Why are you hitting your companion?” 14 He retorted, “Who appointed you ruler and judge over us? Do you intend to kill me the way you killed the Egyptian?” Moshe became frightened.

And who is this that was pure in heart when the Lord called him?
John 6:63, 65 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life....65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”

All wisdom comes from the Lord,
    and so do common sense
    and understanding.
    7 God gives helpful advice[a]
    to everyone who obeys him
    and protects all of those
    who live as they should.
8 God sees that justice is done,
    and he watches over everyone
    who is faithful to him....

Moses was a shepherd. And he continued to be a shepherd after he was called. But his flock was the Israelites.
