If Job didn't sin with his words of self justification, then why did he repent? Why did God say that he spoke words without knowledge?

David was called a man after God's own heart..,does that mean he was sinless and never needed to be rebuked by one of God's prophets?

Elihu was to Job like the prophet Nathan to David.

Job did really well until his friends started attacking him...then he went into the defensive and eventually they pushed him into sinful speech.

I'd rather discuss the second paragraph of your post because I think its so important :D
But yes, Job sacrificed. I agree he understood sins were covered by blood.
If you start a thread stunned, I'll participate. But, tomorrow. Very tired tonight.

God owes righteous folks who do what God tells them health, wealth and worldly goods to spend on their adulterous pleasures

God does NOT promise this...he says that is why he doesn't answer prayers because folks want worldly wealth to spend on their lusts...he calls the, double minded adulterers

No. Just Adam ,Esau, and Jesus. Two did. Jesus didn't.
i wholly disagree with the concept of adam selling his birth right.

sorry for the momentary distraction to the o.p. i believe this may need to be reconciled elsewhere.

Not owes. Promises. The benefits of our salvation. The atonement.

Bless the Lord, O My Soul

Psa 103:1 A Psalm of David.Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, blesshis holy name.

Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Psa 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psa 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Psa 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psa 103:6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Psa 103:7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

Psa 103:8 The LORD ismerciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Psa 103:9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

Psa 103:10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

Psa 103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, sogreat is his mercy toward them that fear him.

Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Psa 103:13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Psa 103:14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
So...you are rebutting Ariel and saying that God promises us health and wealth while we are on earth?

I like the poster who said blameless and sinless are two different things...
To me, this is like saying, walking in truth does not mean sinless. It just means honest! Not hiding your heart but facing up to what is in it.
Which? I would give it a like too!

Yeah I would agree with you about that one....the change was the Earth was cursed to produce thorns and goers when before food just grew without tool and weeds to choke the fruit.

Satan wasn't given dominion of the Earth, it still belongs to humanity...though our stewardship needs a lot of work.

There are promises yes. But, He answers in many different ways.

Wealth as I've said before doesn't always mean rich. Having all needs met makes us in the USA rich to most of the countries of this world.

If we know its not our time to die, then go for healing. Why settle? We are the Kings children.

As a son of God? Yes, indeed he did. He was with Eve at the time. And he made a choice.

Conversations between Satan and God concerning Job:
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.7 The Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”8 And the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?”9 Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason?10 Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.11 But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face.”12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Job 2 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord.2 And the Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”3 And the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil? He still holds fast his integrity, although you incited me against him to destroy him without reason.”4 Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! All that a man has he will give for his life.5 But stretch out your hand and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse you to your face.”6 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life.”

Not only did Satan seek God, God had a point to prove in this argument, and gave the specific outline of what Satan could and could not do.

Believe/echo any heretic you want, but do NOT preach the heretic to Christians! We're going to call you on it each and every time.

God's word is true, and Ellis is a liar!
Ok. So you take the OP, and prove him wrong.

2 You desire things and don’t have them. You kill, and you are jealous, and you still can’t get them. So you fight and quarrel. The reason you don’t have is that you don’t pray! 3 Or you pray and don’t receive, because you pray with the wrong motive, that of wanting to indulge your own desires.

4 You unfaithful wives! Don’t you know that loving the world is hating God? Whoever chooses to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy! 5 Or do you suppose the Scripture speaks in vain when it says that there is a spirit in us which longs to envy? 6 But the grace he gives is greater, which is why it says,

“God opposes the arrogant,
but to the humble he gives grace.”[a]

7 Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and he will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded people! 9 Wail, mourn, sob! Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy into gloom! 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

****

Using this version cuz p777 seems to like it.

Personally stunned and Ariel, I think a study on atonement might be more beneficial.
