I kind of thought the same thing, but tried to give him a chance, anyhow...but to me it is really odd how there were at least two people, I saw, that started out with their first and maybe only posts on this thread:confused:

I wondered if it was a banned person or someone just making up "socks" or extra accounts...Oh well, I doesn't really matter, but it is a little odd.
Socks?

What are socks, besides the ones I'm wearing?

Sock PUPPETS are alternate profiles for the same person. Sometimes they are active at the same time. So, they post something in one profile, sign out, sign into the other profile, and pat their first profile on the back, says they agree and they are a great person. Repeat, rinse.

Sometimes a sock puppet comes back after they have been banned. I’m not talking about people who voluntarily leave and return. That is not an issue. I’m talking a banned person, coming back to post exactly the same things. Under a new profile, which is not allowed in any forum, I know of, including CC.

As for posting a banned person’s posts, one really does have to wonder! I’ve never seen anyone else ever get away with the like!

I did some checking on this grace777 guy and I notice he & JM always put "likes" on each other's posts.

Could it be they're one & the same?

If you did some checking on Grace777, you'll see he got banned early last year. I really don't think he'd come back under another nick. He isn't sneaky like some on here who I could mention. LOL

i actually agree with what you say in the words below. Job was being tortured by Satan and NOT God. Even though God allowed it, its not the same as God causing it to happen. God is loving and good and does not change.

Still don't agree that Adam gave Satan dominion of the Earth. Nor do i believe that we have to make the world a better and better place in order for Jesus to return. I also don't believe in WOF doctrine or name it and claim it or false prosperity gospel.

however I will agree to disagree and submit it all to prayer. I will post when I see you post something I believe is obviously against what I believe the Bible teaches, but I hope you don't take my posts as personal attacks and submit it to prayer as well. the only way we grow as Christians is through humbleness of spirit and prayer.

I was once just like Job when it came to my thoughts about God's nature. In my desire and good intention to understand how God could be sovereign and in control I had to (reason out for myself) why if God was good and loving and in control., how come so many good people and babies were dying and sick?? That had to mean He did it since He is in control. But I was deceived by the deceiver.

I'm so thankful today there is no confusion in my mind anymore about the goodness and steadfastness of God in Christ. That He is not a God who changes. There is no "shadow of turning" with Him. He is not evil one day and kind another day. He is always the same and wants us to count on His goodness so we can always have a certain and sure expectation of goodness coming from Him at all times.

I realize not every believer has this. And even many believers will be annoyed at this. Many have taken the words of Job as an interpretation of who God is. Job was voicing his own ideas of God and there are times in the Bible when men and woman say things about God that are their own ideas that have been recorded. We have to allow the Word of God by the Holy Spirit to rightly divide and interpret these verses in light of the other Bible verses about the goodness and security in God.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd who gave His life for the sheep. He is the One who always leads us beside the still waters. If we don't get to the still waters it isn't because He wanted us to go elsewhere. We deal with the world., the flesh and the devil. They are always going to try and sway us to go "elsewhere"

The Bible is clear who the one is who seeks to kill us..., steal from us.... and destroy us. It is not God., it is the devil. He is the father of lies and the lie about God sending evil our way is a biggie. The Bible says goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Those other things that are evil do not come from God but from the accuser of the brethren.

Ed,
I'm still nosy.

Did she answer your questions? Personally, our eschatology is so different, I don't understand any of it, so I'm asking if she did it for you? Did she resolve the differences you're seeing?

My Eschatology is Jesus took the power of sin out of our lives and that we no longer have to be at sins mercy. Yes, we are in the presence of sin in this world but we are not under it's power any longer. Jesus has taken the power of the devil away so we are no longer under his foot either. But many of us will not experience this freedom because we insist on seeing life through the eyes of the flesh and not the Spirit and by our born again spirit man. We have been made actual new creations in Christ.

We only have our new imperishable bodies to get. Our flesh is the shell and we are not our flesh. We are new creations in Christ with earth suits sort of speak. Our bodies are a shell. But we have His seed in us that needs to be watered by the Word. We have already died and our life is hid with Jesus. Jesus is at the right hand of the Father in His imperishable body. Jesus is the first of many brethren. He came to earth and became one of us. He is sitting in heaven with His imperishable body like the ones we will be getting.

We have daily access to the power of the Holy Spirit living and moving in our lives when we walk by faith and in the Spirit. I only began to learn this a few years ago. I never knew how to walk in the Spirit so my old way of seeing life (old manner of life and living) was how I lived and saw Jesus. We must be transformed each day by the renewing of our minds. That is a job we do IN COOPERATION with the HolySpirit. He will not force us to do this.

Why don't we Christians have victory in our lives today? Because we give the ground Jesus died to give us over to the devil because we believe the lie that we are sinners and not sons. We allow the enemy to condemn us and lie to us and we willingly believe God is not for us but against us. The lie satan told in the garden to Adam and Eve is still going strong today. The only thing the devil can do to us is lie to us. And if we don't resist him., he doesn't have to flee. Many of us have believed his lies and he has access to our daily lives.

Hi Librarian., When Jesus told us we would suffer persecution in this life for living righteously He was telling us that in this world we will get tribulation but it doesn't come from Him. It comes from 3 places.. 1. The world.. 2. The flesh... 3. The devil.

All who are in Christ will suffer persecution from those 3 places., BUT we have Jesus and His promises and His Holy Spirit to walk us through it all. When we allow His life to live through us.,(Gal.2:20) we will have victory at all times. So we can be of good cheer and live in JOY and peace in the Holy Spirit because Jesus has over come the world....the flesh...the devil. The power of sin and death has lost and Jesus has won.

Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Amen!!
