What exactly did you dream about in 2 Timothy?
In 2 Timothy, Paul encourages Timothy to perservere despite all the godless individuals around him, and that by doing so, in the end he would be rewarded.

Since God is no longer bringing any new prophecy after any manner to include a tongue, a dream, or vision .I would think a person would believe what ever they want. It could be your own heart desiring to study it.

Your perspective contradicts the Word.

Maybe you should read it or re-read it to find your answer. It may be something personal between you & God.

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joel was prophesying to Israel when he said your old men. So unless you are Jewish the prophesy of visions is not written to you. The Holy Spirit is poured out on all flesh, all flesh that believes on Jesus as Messiah but the rest of the prophesy is to Israel.

Joel was prophesying of Israel; the Israel of the Spirit (Romans 9:6). Are you stuck on believing the Lord is partial to a Israeli bloodline, despite their representing the gainsayers in Romans 10:21? Do you think the Lord is going to cause the gainsayers to prophesy and dream about Him?

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Romans 10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

The context of Joel 2 and Acts 2 supports the teaching that God is not finished with Israel. Replacement theology is heresy.

Romans 9 and 10 are not related contextually to Joel or Acts.

Your claim that Joel 2 and Acts 2 is in regards to bloodline Israel, and not true Israel, is replacement theology and heresy. Paul clearly shows in Romans 9 true Israel is spiritual, and not bloodline.
In effect you denial of Gods Word and what Paul claims in Romans 9, is replacement theology and heresy.

You are just revealing that you don't know much.

God is not done with Israel as a nation. God will fulfill His promises to Israel. Church does not replace Israel only enjoys the blessing that Israel has rejected for now.

Yes, the Lord is not done with the land of Israel. In the land of Israel today, there is a remnant of true believers, as indicated indicated in Romans 11:5-6; the rest, however, are the gainsayers, as indicated in Romans 10:20-21, in regards to Isaiah 65.
In Isaiah 65:11-15 the Lord describes what happens to the gainsayers, who will no longer be called His people, while the true believers in the Lord will be called by a new name.
You've accused me of not knowing much, though I post Gods Word to support my claims.
Can you post scripture to support your claims, or do you only accuse without having any Word of God?

Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Romans 10:20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Isaiah 65:11 But ye are they that forsake the Lord, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.

12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

You can post all the scripture you want but if you do not have a correct understanding of it what good will it do?

Israel is historically a rebellious nation and often has forsaken God. That does not mean that God has forsaken Israel. God chastens Israel and restores them as is clearly evidenced in history.

You are pretty far down the road on this so the wide road is all yours.

No scriptures again; I guess I'll just put some blind faith in your opinion over Gods Word, which renders your perspective false.

First thing I would do when I wake up is read the book. Often God brings certain scriptures to our attention for a reason.

I remember struggling with a situation and I was waiting on an answer to my prayers. The waiting game went on for over a month and God was completely silent. Then one day I turned on my car radio and immediately heard the scripture "seek first the Kingdom of God and all these thing shall be added to you" (Matthew 6:33) which I knew was Him speaking to me. I finally got an answer :)

Has God ever put a scripture on your mind that ended up applying to you at the time? Or an answer to your prayer? How many pastors have woken up and changed their entire sermons last minute because God put something on their heart to share?

God does still speak through visions and dreams. I've experienced both, but they were personal lessons for me, which did agree with the scriptures. One of them very comforting at the time and humbled me. The vision was shortly after I had returned from my backsliding so I hadn't read much of the word, and I believe this is probably the reason God chose to speak to me this way. I did a blog entry on it.
