Heaven is where ever the Lord is, in John 14:1-4“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

You are misinterpreting this passage, and it certainly does NOT mean that Heaven is where ever the Lord is. God is omnipresent but that certainly does not make the universe "Heaven". When Jesus said "in my Father's house" it could have only one meaning -- God's Heaven -- where also the heavenly city New Jerusalem is presently located.

The Lord Jesus Christ came from Heaven, returned to Heaven, and is now seated on His throne at the right hand of the Father. That truth in itself tells us that Heaven is a definite place with a very definite purpose. Do the souls and spirits go to Heaven to be with Christ? Absolutely. Absent from the body, present with the Lord.

What is heaven like?
[h=1]1 Corinthians 2:9 King James Version (KJV)[/h]
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Where is heaven?
Heaven is where God is.

How big is heaven? As big as God wants it.

Does heaven have walls?

The new Jerusalem has walls.

Are their clouds in heaven? Why not?
Can we fly in heaven?

Luke 20:
36In fact, they can no longer die, because they are like the angels. And since they are sons of the resurrection, they are sons of God.

Most believe angels can fly and if we are like them then yes we can fly.

Will we sleep in heaven?
[h=1]Philippians 3:21 King James Version (KJV)[/h]
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

We will have changed bodies we may not need to sleep but who knows if we would do it for fun? So don't know if we will sleep or not but may not need to.
Will we eat and or drink in heaven? Yes, tree of life bears 12 fruits one for each month and the river of life flows from the throne of God. Jesus also said he would not drink of the vine until we were together again.

Will we eat meat and or fish in heaven? Don't know but we will eat fruit from the tree of life.

Revelation 22:1Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2down the middle of the main street of the city. On either side of the river stood a tree of life, producing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. [SUB][SUP]
[/SUP][/SUB]

We will feel hunger in heaven? Not sure.

Will we need to use the toilet in heaven? Don't know.

Will our nails and hair grow in heaven? Why not?

Will we have or can we have tattooes? Doubt it.

What is music like in heaven? Heavenly.

Can we make our own music in heaven? Probably.

Are there different music genres in heaven? Don't know.

Will there be water in heaven? Yes

Will there be lakes and streams? Revelation 22 says yes at least to a river.

Rivers and waterfalls and oceans? Revelation 22

Animals? Yes

Isaiah 11:6And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little boy will lead them. 7Also the cow and the bear will graze, Their young will lie down together, And the lion will eat straw like the ox.…[SUB][SUP]
[/SUP][/SUB]

Talking animals? Maybe

Can we talk telepathically in heaven? Don't know

Can we get drunk in heaven? Highly doubt it.

Can we drink too much in heaven? Why?

Can we smoke in heaven? Why would you want to do something harmful?

Can smoking harm you in heaven? You probably won't do it or even want to. Smoking is a BAD/HARMFUL habit.

Can we drive/ race cars/ bikes horses etc Don't know

Will we have partners in heaven Don't know for sure but Bible says:

Matthew 22:
30In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven.

Will we get crushes on people and date Don't know.

Can we fall in love with people? We will probably love everyone.

Will we make love in heaven Don't know

Can women get pregnant in heaven Don't know

Do you need to do washing in heaven Have a robe of righteousness which probably does not need to be cleaned.

Can clothes get creased or torn? Adam and Eve didn't realize they were naked until they sinned not creases or torn clothes there.

How many pairs of boxer shorts will I need Probably none.

Can I buy and wear Nike Air Max 90's? Doubt it.

What's the Wi-Fi like in heaven? Since you can go any where and do any thing you probably won't miss it.

The answer to many of these questions is that heaven is not a physical place, and we will no longer have physical bodies- therefore we will never hunger, thirst, grow old, etc.
Jesus had both a physical and spiritual body after the resurrection so we will too.

"Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? (Amos 5:18-20)
The thread is about heaven, not hell. There seems to be some confusion on your part.

Here's the thing about cults, they do teach true, but 99% true with 1% lie is a lie, no good lie does not have truth in it.
The true / false ratio probably holds true for all of the Christian denominations.

I've heard a testimony from an elderly lady, who went through many different things through her life, and she found the Lord Jesus Christ, still believes in being able to come back here and be reincarnated.

I know it doesn't talk about it in the bible but it is something that she believes because of all she went through and being raised up, by her father and mother.

And believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, so what can I say. Lol.

We've all got 'em! Questions about heaven. From a young age, to adulthood. We ask different questions about heaven depending on how old we are in life. Depending on what we know about heaven. And to be fair, the more we learn about heaven, the more questions there are to ask about it! :D

So let's go down that rabbit hole. What questions about heaven do you have that you'd like to know the answer for?

Jesus had both a physical and spiritual body after the resurrection so we will too.

amen

He rose, the Resurrection and the Life, and by this we know we shall also

OneFaith, have a look at Matthew 22 -

On that day some Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection)
came to Jesus and questioned Him. . .

. . . But Jesus answered and said to them,
You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God."

It will be "real" but not material.
We are told in I John 3 that we will be "like" Jesus. He had a body after his resurrection and still has a body. Yes, our new bodies are going to be different, but they will be real and they will be material and they will be physical.

Of course I know that what you mean by "material" may be different than I define it! LOL!
