God loves us more than we can imagine or fathom.

You are NOT tiny or insignificant because God calls you His child. That makes you more precious than a sparrow and clothed more majestically than the lililies in the field.

Will pray you learn to be courageous and stand strong upon the Word of God, trusting in His protection and love.

prayers are always heard, but of course not always answered in the way we would like:
could be with a yes-no-maybe sometime-already has been, but we didn't notice...

Sometimes I think I grow so accustomed to the answer being "No" or "Maybe" or "Wait and see" that when the answer comes almost immediately, it takes me by surprise and then I wonder if it was just a coincidence. But since I don't believe in just-coincidences, I have to come to the conclusion that God has simply shown me an unfathomable kind of love and attention. Actually, He is always showing me that love and attention, but I forget it during the times of silence.

Some people say that "co-incidence" is simply God's way of remaining anonymous :D

It blows my mind that God sees us that way...! :D We really are a kind of royalty. But, of course, that all comes with responsibility, too.

13You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.[SUP] 14 [/SUP]“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. [SUP]16 [/SUP]In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Did I ever say I earned it? Nope. Don't read me wrong, OTN.

As followers of Jesus we are God's children, co-heirs with Christ. I think all of this amounts to a kind of spiritual royalty, personally. It's only through our unity with Him and has nothing to do with any great things we have done or not done. I don't know about you, but I feel like a prince to think about the incalculably priceless gift I've been given (and not only me, obviously).

John 1:12-13
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Galatians 3:26
For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.

Romans 8:16-17
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Galatians 4:4-5
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

We have nothing to boast about except our salvation in Jesus.

Galatians 6:12-18
Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. [SUP]14 [/SUP]May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
