I don't get this attitude that Jesus is somehow the ultimate baby sitter, I mean what is the point of God giving us this life if we are never going to learn how to take care of ourselves and each other without being told. The thought that Jesus is going to wipe up after us, to catch each crumb that falls from our mouths is over kill. God in his wisdom created us with our own freewill, that we still expect him to do it all for us.

Frankly, I don't like the idea of my God doing everything for me, how can I learn if I expect everything is done for me.

Something my late spiritual mother said to me:

"The cross and his sacrifice means that he has done everything he can do, and the rest is up to us"

Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

I believe God has given us everything we need to grow up I Him and He expects us to help one another.themote mature (not always older in age) Christians help teach sound doctrines so that we don't fall and srunbke and get lead astray by false doctrine.

God isn't a baby sitter...he established the Law to babysit and it's a stern taskmaster.

God allows the consequences of our actions to happen...example king David and Babsheeba son born through adultery died.

Sorry for the loss of your spiritual mentor. How long ago did she pass away?

Of course nothing is impossible for God, but he is not going to do everything. Well if he did do everything I would be cured of schizophrenia, see that's a good question.

Why won't Jesus cure me of schizophrenia.

A: Because he is not really there and can't cure me.
B: He will cure me if I have enough faith.
C: He is leaving me with schizophrenia, because his grace is sufficient.
D: Schizophrenia isn't an illness but demonic possession.
E: He's leaving it up to me to find a cure.

A. Is not true
B. God gives faith so done but into the false doctrine some on here will sprout at you.
3. Maybe...if you learn discernment it might be something else
4. Maybe...if so you need lots of prayer from faithful folks and the Holy Spirit will deliver you from it. Some demons can't be cast out without prayer and fasting as Jesus told His disciples when they failed with the boy who was dead and dumb and prone to seizures.
5. Have you seen a doctor about it? Sometimes medicine does help some people.

Truthfully,i don't know you all that well so can't say which of the options I believe apply to you, but will keep you in prayer that God will reveal His truth in this situation.

Would that be linked to when you walked away from God?

You don't have to answer any of my questions or if it's too personal you can pm me the answers.

I am just asking what I would if we meet in person.

Through I am curious about how God is calling you back to him?

If you don't like what the new earth is like when you get there you can always sin and that will get you moved to the fiery lake. I doubt you will be any happier there.

Because He would have to cure you of every ailment and then do that for the rest of humanity, possibly leaving you alive in a sinful world for 100's of years rather than the 80 or so that people live before entering the grave.

A better question is why can the medical industry not come up with a cure considering they get about a trillion dollars per year to combat things like that. Seems like the more money they get the weirder the new diseases are.

God knows where to put us all in the end, that's why I think we have this temporary life, so he can find out our true desires.

Well why even believe that Jesus cures anyone then. If by curing one person, he must cure all, then his hands are tied.

I think it has to do with information, that you can't add or take away any energy or matter from the universe or it will blow up or something.

All flesh conceived on this earth will be used as the 'seeds' that start the new earth off with a flurry of life. The ones alive for the 1,000 years reside inside New Jerusalem and the ones that are resurrected at the GWT build their homes outside of that city.

When a God of the living remembers some sparrow that means that sparrow will be alive in the new earth. If one sparrow is saved all sparrows are saved and if one form of other flesh is saved then all other flesh is saved,

Lu:3:6:
And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

1Co:15:39:
All flesh is not the same flesh:
but there is one kind of flesh of men,
another flesh of beasts,
another of fishes,
and another of birds.

Lu:12:6:
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings,
and not one of them is forgotten before God?
Lu:12:7:
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear not therefore:
ye are of more value than many sparrows.

I do not get the attitude that we can do spiritual things of our own power apart from God.

We can't but the question is why do folks expect God to clean up their messes instead of growing up and doing it themselves or helping one another?

The question is personal and communally why don't we as Christians own up to our responsibility and duties that God expects us to do?

Why don't we mentor the youth and the new baby Christians?

Do we feed the hungry and the poor?

When we sin do we ask for forgiveness from, those we wrong and give atonement?

Do we study the Bible ourselves or just get feed small bird size pieces once a week at church while starving the rest of the week spiritually?

Do we do as the Bible says or are we just hypocrites pretending to be holy but inside filled with dead man bones?

Maybe I am reading too much into his post but that is what I got out of it.

finaldesire,

Have you accepted Jesus into your life? (I assume you have but just checking) and have you received The Holy Spirit?
If so you can't be possessed, please don't let that thought terrify you.

Have you been diagnosed by medical professionals?

I know you must be suffering but that doesn't mean you won't get healing. It can simply be TIMING. God has our whole existence under consideration. Not only our natural lives but our eternal as well. We simply can't see all things and it is possible that we learn some things only by experiencing difficult circumstances, things we may take with us into eternity.

I know it is difficult while you have such a serious problem to deal with but may I encourage you with Romans 8:28?

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Don't by any means stop asking for healing and don't give up. Not all healing is instant. God Bless you.

If you're taught how to, then I can't see why you can't DIY.
You can't do anything without God's power...it is His breath that allows us to live at all.

Part of learning to live this life is learning to follow the Holy Spirit and go where God leads us and love as He does. Its a daily leading...so we can't do anything good apart from God, but that doesn't mean we sit like kings and expect God to do everything.
.it means we wash feet of others like Jesus did and are not so proud we won't get done and do the most humblest task of God asks us too.
