First of all, my apologies. I was in error thinking Job was of the age before the recreation of the world. After listening to the video, I can see why I thought this, but he explains the probable time of Jobs life and it does make sense.

So listen if you trust Chuck Missler. I do.

I wish we all could as readily admit when we were in error on something as you have here SOF. :)

Its refreshing to see someone admit an error. I'm sorry if we were too hard on you in that thread. We care about you and want biblical soundness for you so you will not be unprotected from any mans strange ideas. We are jealous for you. :)

I was wrong about the time of Job, but I don't believe I'm wrong about the first age. It ended with the ice age, and then began the re-creation with Adam and Eve. Do your own studies. We have enough material to do so now.

So I'm reading the ancient book of Jasher. You would think I've committed blasphemy of Holy Spirit.

Its referenced in the scriptures three times. It's history people. And the patriarchs knew of latter day happenings. Why are we told not to read these things?

I also find it a bit hypocritical to commend me for admitting a mistake which I posted last evening. But, then bash me in another thread just this morning.

You mean Adam and Eva were not the first human beeings?

Think this through Wolf. Lucifer was some kind of angel in charge of worship. Who was he worship leader ( using today's terms for understanding) to?

He was already a serpentine creature in the garden with Eve and Adam.

My understanding is the prior age was the time of the fall of Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels.

Do a search in your bible software if you have it, for ages. Then you will see for yourself.

I have Bible software. I have Bible reference books -- lots of them. At least two bookcases of them. And yet nothing about ages.

Do a word study on Satan/devil/demons in the Bible. Nothing in it about Satan being a worship leader. (Also, your eyes will open on who Lucifer is, if you do a word study on that word alone. Honestly? I do not get who Lucifer is exactly, but having done that, I don't think the word "Lucifer" is the same as "Satan." So, I'm not expecting you to agree with anything I say just because you do that search. It's just really weird how much we think we know about Satan compared to how much of that is truly biblical.) And, if he was a worship leader? I would assume he was leading other angels to worship the Lord. That, too, doesn't require the word "age."

KJV- ages

Lucifer was a walking instrument to say it simply. It is kind of odd that we do see things differently Lynn. But to each his own I guess.

I will never ever say though that God puts suffering on mankind. We may reap what we sow for a time until repentance or suffer because we are light and no longer darkness. But not when it comes to our welfare.

There I will stand with Joanie that God is good. Why pray for anything unless it's true? And my stand is not because of Joanie but my own walk with Him.

I disagree with you here sis. But that’s fine.

I believe Adam and Eve was the first age, it ended with the flood.

We never did do that debate did we? Lol. If there was a way to do one on one, I would attempt it. Or maybe not. It's not really relevant to me at this time. Probably wouldn't even bring it up now.

My Oxford Study bible says differently in the notes of Genesis. Plus I took a course in demonology.

I don't agree with evolution. Never did. Not all include that with the study of a previous age.

I believe you are leaning on the GAP theory. Of which I used to be a follower. I would love to discuss this openly Sadly I have learned in CC. This topic can not be openly discussed without a bunch of attacks and infighting. So I try to stay away from them.

Even if you and I disagree on this.. It does not matter, because when we get to heaven, we will know the truth. And any thought of I was right and you were wrong would not even cross our lips (pride) because we will have been made perfect.

Finis Dake made the GAP theory mainstream among many Pentecostals and even Baptists.. Thomas Chalmers invented GAP as a rebuttal to Darwin's theory of Evolution.
