Dont try this at home. (Or do if you think you won’t get a slap. Lol)

Here is how you post a YouTube video link so it will air here. All you do is copy the address bar on the video, then come here on post page, and click on the FILM STRIP up top. A popup will come up, then paste the address in that box and click OK. That is it, the video will appear when post it.

Doesn’t work on an iPad, but you can still click on the link. (Which was pasted
using the method you mentioned).

Yes, I have seen the Father Ted series. It was good, but I did not think the old drunk Father did not add anything to the series, in fact I think the his character subtracts from the over all enjoyment of the series. It would be a better series without Father Jack Hackett.

Unfortunately we only laugh when someone suffers some misfortune. Hence Solomon to say:

  • "I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, What doeth it?" (Ecc 2.2)
  • "It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth." (Ecc 7.2-4).

Don't forget Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Tin Conway, and Miss Vickie :D The Smothers Brothers had a pretty good comedy act together also, and hosted many comedians on their variety show :) Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were quite the pair also :D Dan Rowan and Dick Martin's show introduced us to the wacky antics of Goldie Hawn, Arte Johnson, Ruth Buzzie, Judy Carne, Henry Gibson, Lily Tomlin, and who could ever forget Sonny and Cher? Check out the hair on Steve Martin in this video :eek:

So pleased to see this thread keep on keeping one.

Just another thought: If you can't laugh at yourself, I'll be glad to do it for you.

So what did early man do before finger nail clippers were invented? ? ?

Did he just bite them off, or just use a very sharp knife, hoping he did not cut too deep? ? ?

So what about TOE NAILS? ? ?

Oh maybe we do not want to go there?

THANK GOD FOR NAIL CLIPPERS.

I've reached the age where it's difficult to think of my body as a temple. It's more like a building project that has gotten out of control!
