Seems to be a poor attitude. The only answers you need come from the bible. No wonder you have questions without answers.

It is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
Everyone should be able to question things, not questioning things lead to accepting things without thinking.

as an answer to your OP
Proverbs 14.9
No, I don't find this funny, well I do laugh at some of the comments I get.

I admit I do not think of Jesus all the time in fact I try to keep him out of my mind during certain things. (I have a severe porn addiction :() the shame I feel at booting Jesus out of my mind somes times you would think it would make me stop anyway if you can think about Jesus all the time then do it! I garuntee were on his mind 24/7 we certainly owe him that much

Does everything have to be about Jesus, like do I make my first cup of coffee in the morning thinking that it has something to do with Jesus? Do I have to pay my rent and assume it has something to do with Jesus? Do I have to wash my laundry and believe that it has something to do with Jesus?

Does everything I do, say or feel have to do with Jesus. Does he mind if I don't think about him time to time, that I might want to play a game on my xbox for the game sake and not because I have an ulterior motive to squish Jesus into every activity.

Whether you recognize or not, everything does have to do with Jesus. “And in Him all things hold together.” “All things were created by Him and for Him.” “Man does not live on bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Let there be light...). Whether you give Him recognition or not, every breath you take has to do with Him.

I’m a floater. I’ve tried to sit on the bottom of the pool just to see if I can (I can’t). Since I was a very young skinny child till I became a plump and pudgy adult, no mater how much I weigh or how big or small I am, I float. I cannot not float if I tried. I can just lay on the water and look up at the stars.

In the same way, I cannot help but think about God. I don’t ever remember a time I didn’t, nor do I want to. If I’m playing a video game I’m thinking about how I’m the good one fighting the bad ones because I’m on the side of good- which is God’s team. I’m also thinking how God has helped me through levels- which builds my confidence and forms habits of accomplishing things in real life. He is my everything and I don’t ever want to be without Him even for a moment, He’s part of my world, He is my world.

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it ALL in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Well you "owe everything" to Jesus so you ought to at least think of him from time to time.

In regard to some of the blunt and "vulgar" remarks, such as when being intimate to think of Jesus...
Grow Up,honestly by now you should have at least figured out the difference between thinking on things when in the spirit and thinking on things in the flesh, the spirit and flesh do not intertwine. therefore anything that is blatantly sinful or intimately explicit you do you will not be having Jesus on your mind or a bunch of "Godly" thoughts, after said actions it's possible but any action of the flesh is most likely going to distract you from God/Jesus or drain your spirit for awhile.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

God must find us funny, because we are akin to cartoons. We thump each other senseless with acme supply's, then we just come back the next day as nothing has happened to us.

No, it isn't necessary to make "mundane things" the focus of your faith. But God does say to give thanks in all things. Mine was just an example. You mentioned if you should think of Him while having sex, well, I think you should thank Him for sending you the perfect wife and for the ability to even have sex at all.. But I digress.. lol

When I had cancer, I gave thanks to God for it. When I had sciatica, I thanked Him for it. When Tequila died, I thanked God for giving her to me for nearly 16 years. I even give thanks when my friends and family members die.

Give thanks in ALL things. Be it sex, bodily functions, or what have you. :)

I had chronic IBS so I know what you are talking about here, but I am not talking about having spiritual assistance with some sort of disorder like that. I am saying is it necessary to make mundane things the focus of my faith.

FinalD, there is a difference between THANKING God all the time, and thinking of Him all the time. I don't think about Him all the time. He never made the command: You shall think of me 24/7... lol

Not quite the thread I was expecting....

The Lord is our everything and always will be.. so mind not that we Love and adore Him... giving thanks in all and for all things.. life is hard but He is our Saviour and lightens the way and load.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:13-14

"Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord." John 21:12

Jesus truly is everything we need....He fulfills our every need we may have in this walk of life and assures us eternal life through Him....without Jesus, we have absolutely nothing

Jesus isn't supposed to be a burden, If you truly love and seek Jesus with all your heart you would make him a part of everything you do not because you have too but because you want too...
