Does everything have to be about Jesus, like do I make my first cup of coffee in the morning thinking that it has something to do with Jesus? Do I have to pay my rent and assume it has something to do with Jesus? Do I have to wash my laundry and believe that it has something to do with Jesus?

Does everything I do, say or feel have to do with Jesus. Does he mind if I don't think about him time to time, that I might want to play a game on my xbox for the game sake and not because I have an ulterior motive to squish Jesus into every activity.

So should I give thanks to Jesus while I am on the toilet, what about showering, you see where I am going with this.

What if I am having sex with my wife, should I be thinking of Jesus then.

Try and reason with me without bible verses, if you can.

Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise
to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
Hebrews 13:15

Read my physical pain testimony, and you'll see why people give praise. Ever had sciatica? WORST PAIN EVER. It was only by God's strength that I was able to make it to the toilet w/o peeing myself, and take a shower at all without help.

What would you do if you couldn't pee or poop and you had to have something shoved into your *ahem* to aid you in it?

You bet your binky I praised God every time I went to the potty..lol

So should I give thanks to Jesus while I am on the toilet, what about showering, you see where I am going with this.

No one is telling you that you have to do anything with Jesus.

If you want to play a game on your xbox take Jesus along and let him watch or play with you. Now of course if you don't want him there, I wonder why?

If Jesus is a best friend, a joy, etc. then why would you not want him involved in everything?

Seems to be a poor attitude. The only answers you need come from the bible. No wonder you have questions without answers.

It is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance.

It is entirely possible to apply the principles of the bible in one's life without thinking of JESUS every second of every day....and it seems awful weird to even think for one second that a man could be having sex with his wife and thinking of JESUS at the same time......unless he was thanking God for SEX at the time ;) hahahh yeah I know............

If you are using the bathroom, why would you look at It that way.GOD knows everything.

HE looked beyond our faults and saw our NEED.

I had chronic IBS so I know what you are talking about here, but I am not talking about having spiritual assistance with some sort of disorder like that. I am saying is it necessary to make mundane things the focus of my faith.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
