Heaven is rejoicing with a strong soldier returning home with our Lord this morning. He definitely fought the good fight and kept the faith. I wish more people stood on Jesus the way Billy did. He will definitely be in our hearts and thoughts forever

He lived a full life and humbly served the Lord. "Well done, good and faithful servant". Who could ask for more?

“Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.” - Billy Graham.

An inspiration to millions, finally at home.

My prayer is that he repented from this belief, of the wideness of God and that people that do not even know the name of Jesus will be saved. That is not what the Bible says, he called it the wilkdness of God's mercy.

I'm pretty sure that was DL Moody and he got that quote from him...

It's amazing, really.

If you bring up the videos on the internet, or the fact that he was a freemason, or how he and Bill Clinton were good friends & thought Bill would have made a great evangelist, or how Norman Vincent Peale was one of his mentors, or Robert Schuller was one of his best friends, or that the RCC had constant relationships with him, or the absolute fact that Jesus said the world would only love its own, or that Graham was quoted saying sinners are saved that never knew Christ, or dozens of other things too numerous to tell, people would gang up on you for judging him, yet all the while they never really knew him & judged him straight into Heaven.

As you can see, I don't care about popularity, but I do care about the truth.

I read this today on the news and could not help but think of the one "crusade" a dear friend went to...he got the whole crowd right to the point of telling about Jesus and then had them come down to the counsellor and religion of their choice...I was not there, just what a good, trustworthy friend said.....if true.....not good.....the Lord will judge us all for sure...AND NOT SAYING he did not lead many to the truth....just could not help but think about what my friend has said.........

There is no credible proof that Billy Graham was a Freemason.

Perhaps, you have it since you say you have the facts, care to bring it forward?

He is with the Lord now.
He was a real humble servant for the Lord Jesus, a truly godly man who led millions to the Lord through the Cross.

It’s really sad to see such unsubstantiated allegations thrown against him, to those of you who have done so, let me ask you this question:

”What have you done for the Lord?”

It seems that some Christians have a default mode of suspicion about all preachers & teachers associated in any way with television.

Brother you are right when you say it is "sad is we have made ourselves Judge." You yourself have made a judgement in calling others, "Judge."

For myself I will let the Word of the Lord judge him by the words he spoke from his own mouth. The diea that there are people that have never known the name of Jesus being saved is not what the Word of the Lord says. The saddest part are many have made the man something that he is not, he was a man just like all of us, as I mentioned my hope is that he repented from his universalism, at lest he was true to his doctrine that man can chose God by his own will.

That salvation is synergistic and not monergistic, in other words that man's chose is what causes us to be born again and it is not God's as stated in James 1:18
“Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” and I Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

Acts 2:21 “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’”

Romans 10:13 “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

I Corinthians 6:10 “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
