When they heard this, they were furious and began shouting: “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” The city clerk quieted the crowd and said: “Fellow Ephesians, doesn’t all the world know that the city of Ephesus is the guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of her image, which fell from heaven?

Islam chants "Allahu Akbar!" meaning God is great! and bows down and prays five times a day to a meteorite in a black box in Mecca.

When I saw this title, I was like, “Oh no!”

But, when I read the OP, I do see the parallel, which might not be apparent to people who don’t know about Artemis.

It is thought a meteor fell from space, in Ephesus, and the people worshipped it as an egg representing fertility. The statues of Artemis have her body encircled with eggs.

So yes, the Ephesians worshipped a meteorite, and so do the Muslims. Both false religions in opposition to Christianity.

I fail to see any further connection, or what Artemis has to do with the Bible or Christianity. Feel free to enlighten me!

As per Acts 19:35

They worshipped a sacred stone which fell from the sky. (A meteorite fragment). This isn't uncommon in the ancient world. And yes, the goddess is worshipped in Mecca also in the form of a meteorite fragment. (A star which fell from the sky) The ancients were obsessed with fertility worship.

Allat (The feminine form of Allah) Manat and Al-Uzzah were a trio of goddesses worshipped in pre-Islamic Mecca.
Aswad (the black kaaba stone is a leftover from that time)

Mohammed kissed the stone passionately. Islamic tradition is that the stone was once white but has turned black from the sins of all the Muslims who have touched it. The sacred stone takes away sin. Muslims worldwide bow to this stone five times per day.
