New Creation 2

Saving faith is of the Father, for He has given to every man a measure of faith so that when he hears the gospel he will have the ability to believe. Then after the new birth, the believer grows in the Lord out of his own independence to the Christ-life. As this takes place, all of the personality traits of the Christ within begin to surface. The act, on the believer’s part, that makes this possible is love.

The love of God working in and through the believer places more and more responsibility on the Christ within until finally everything that the believer does is Christ. The great asset of faith eventually is seen by the believer to be the faith of Christ.
This, of course, is almost an opposite to religion’s idea of faith.
This is because Satan, who operates religion, wants to keep the believer mentally separated from the Christ within.

There is no area where Satan accomplishes this more greatly than with faith. The believer who is always seeking faith, always going to some faith building meeting, always trusting some “man of faith,” always believing that his faith is weak, is a tool for Satan’s work of separatism.
Not only does this place the believer in a vulnerable place to be defeated, but it denies him the rest which resides in knowing that the only life he has is Christ. So many believers are trapped by an erroneous gospel that says we can be something or we can believe for something aside from the Christ within.

This is where the growth of the believer reaches Galatians 2:20.

Finally, when the believer sees that he is “crucified with Christ,” his independence killed out at Calvary, he is ready to enter into the sonship the Father intended by the birthing. He is ready to now say,

“The life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God.”

What a glorious position to be in, no longer just depending upon self, no longer groping outside of one’s Christ-life for an answer, no longer going to and fro for help, but living by the “faith of the Son of God.”
It is a very natural thing now for the Christ within to do all the loving, the hoping, the working and, most of all, the believing.
It is not our faith now, nor has it ever been our faith. We, the “crucified with Christ,” have given our selves to Him to use as Himself, so as we have no life of our own, no faith of our own, but we have the total faith of the Son of God.

I'm trying to understand your theology. You are saying in Creation 1 that a conception of another person takes place. Now in Creation 2 you are saying this person takes us over...like a parasite?

Noblemen,
How is any of this accomplished without being Pentecostal?
How can a disciple put on the mind of Christ without baptism
of water and of the Holy Spirit?
How can a disciple build up and strengthen the new person over
the old carnal person if they cannot pray in the Spirit (tongues)?

The answer is simple: be obidient to gods word and trust him. For this there is no need to be a pentecostal. For this is no need to pray in tongues. For this is only need to have the Holy Spirit.

Those are good questions and I respect your understanding. I wouldn't confuse the things of God with denominational understandings and the doctrines of men. Not to say men do not have some good understanding of the things of God. The things of God are taught by the HolySpirit, that is what revelation is, Spirit taught knowledge. The study of the Pauline Epistles can lead the believer into these truths of God. When reading Paul you're reading the mind of Christ.

Good night my brother's and sister's in christ John 3:5 jesus answer very truly I tell you no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the spirit... I believe this Bible verse contribute to the question that mr noblemen ask early on about how can a disciple take on the mind of Christ without baptism of water and the holy spirit. I believe that if your not baptized of water and the holy spirit not only that you can't enter into the kingdom of God as jesus say but you cant take on the mind of Christ either. So how can a man understand the good things of god if he is not born again of water and received the holy spirit who teaches, leads and guides us about the good things of god. The Bible tells us in Romans 8:8 that those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please god. Does this verse also means that those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot understand the good things of god? Correct me if I am wrong or if I've stray from the discussion amen. God bless you'll.

Well said Princesstia,
You are correct.
The first church was a Spirit-filled church wherein ALL
converts came to the gospel through repentance of their
sins and idolatry in a pagan world and then confessed their
faith during water baptism by full immersion; and ALL sought to
receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the Bible evidence of
speaking in tongues.

This is not denominational teaching but believing the scriptures and
embracing the full gospel written in our NTs as opposed to learning from
catechisms or of another gospel [which Paul wrote is not another gospel].

Waggles, why you emphasis the speaking in tongues? Before 1900 there was no baptizing of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues except Acts 2, 8, 10 and 19. Do you really believe if you can speak in tongues you
are holier and more spiritfilled then a child of God who is not speaking in tongues? Do you think you have a closer relationship to the father, then a believer who has not the gift to speak in tongues? Which Spirit leads you when you speak in tongues?
Why you can not accept that speaking in tongues is not the meassure to have a new creation inside ore not?

My last answer on the subject; baptism is reverting back to Christianity 101 and has nothing to do with being born again. Pls fill free to start a thread and hash it out. We have an OP that has absolutely nothing to do with an outer water baptism. An inner yes, but that has seemed to go by the way side of Doctrine. Paul Baptised a few, but said "I'll baptise no more."

Okay you start by misquoting the Scripture so the rest of your theology is off. Romans 12:3-5

“For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function,5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”

Where does it say that all men have received a measure of faith? It does not say that, you twist the Scripture to fit your theology, the context is Paul speaking to the body of Christ, not the world. The measure of faith is given to the body of Christ so they can believe Ephesians 1:11-14

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.”

We are in Him when we receive our inheritance and we are in Him when we heard, the word of truth, the Gospel and believed, being in Him or being born again. Without being born again you cannot see the kingdom of God which means you cannot believe, have faith or repent. But the Father causes us to be born again or made us alive in Christ, so that we can have faith, believe and repent.

We are predestined according to the counsel of His will, also notice that we are already in Him, when you heard the word of truth, the Gospel of our salvation, and believed in Him. Since we were predestined by the foreknowledge of the Father He gave us (His elect) a measure of faith. I Peter 1:2

“elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:”

Since you started out with misquoting the Scripture to fit your theology, you can not see the kingdom of God unless you are born again and God the Father causes us to be born again or as Paul puts it, made alive.

John 3:3 “Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.

How can you have faith or repent if you cannot see the kingdom of God? You can't until you have been born again or made alive as Paul says it. Once you've been born again you will be able to see the kingdom of God and have faith/repent/believe with the measure of faith that the Lord gives you.

I Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—”

Notice both are because of His mercy and because of the great love with which He loved us, His people. It says nothing about the world, the Father causes us to be born again and He made us alive (born again) with Chirst.
