"bounds" means limit, extent, quantity

So this verse can be translated to mean that the LORD set the number of the people (all others) according to the number of the children of Israel.
This could mean that if a large number of Israelis are killed in another conflict, there will necessarily have to be a correction. Larger numbers of other peoples could possibly die as a result.

The number of Jews that died during WW2 is about 6 million.
The number of people from other nations that died during WW2 is about 60 million or ten times as many as the Jews.

It's something to think about.

I agree, except this time, it's a little different. There is an actual place called Israel. And there seems to be a relation with the original Israel. I don't believe that can ever be proven for sure, if they are or not, let's just say that it's a matter of the scriptures and faith.

But look at the reality that we are facing in the Middle East. That is real. It is fact, what is happening now. Every one agrees that the middle east wars are not fake, and that people are dying.

Can we deny that the enemies of these people who are called Israel, have vowed to destroy them? Every day chanting, death to Israel! Building weapons to destroy them.

What you are not aware of is where we are in the time line in relation to the 7th trumpet.

We are living in the time when the 200 mill army of the 6th trumpet is being assembled. We are seeing the events beginning to align with the events in the 6th trumpet.

This process of events leading to the attack on Jerusalem is well underway and has been for years, we are just starting to recognize them. Try not to just look at the present circumstances that are present now as the way that it will always be. Think about 2 years from now, or 5 years from now, or 7 years from now. When Israel will be out numbered by an army of 200 mill.

See, when you count the armies, you don't just count the people on the front lines, you also count the supporters of those on the front. So 57 countries probably would cover that.

But it may be years to come before the actual, final, battle of Armageddon begins, I don't know the day or the time according to the years and days of men. But I believe that they will come to pass exactly as the Bible says. The Iranians are already crossing the Euphrates and building bases in Syria.

The reality is that the war has already started between Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Russia, and now throw in Turkey, against Israel. (Will Trump let Czar Putin and Iran have Israel? Or face a world war with Russia? Not today, but in a few years? Or what about the next President? If there is one?)

Take every army,navy,air-force ect. and add them together as if they are one army together. Then take and add up the carriers nukes, tanks ect. the U.S. has in it's army and you will realize that if the entire world banded together their forces they "might" be able to take on the U.S. lol

I am a partial Dispensationlist, what was your meaning in what you said?

Actually Jerusalem fell only thrice in the last 1000 years (1018). The first time was when the Ottoman Turks removed Rome from ownership in 1517. This empire lasted 8 Jubilees exactly (400 Years) until in 1917, the UN distributed the land to the PA and ARABs, Yet they did not want it mainly because it was desert..... So they (UN) gave it to Israel. Jerusalem itself became a No-man's land as Rabbi Ben Samual had Prophesied. The in 1967 ( a Jubilee year also), Israel regained control of all of Jerusalem. Israel then gave the Temple Mount over to the Jordan authority.

Jerusalem cannot fall until the third temple is built...Israel to date has most of what it takes to run the temple, from the tools to the priest, all of which have a genealogy of Levi.. Right now there is a fight in Israel as to where the old site of the Temple was.... It was not on the temple mount.... But rather to the South in "plowed" fields. This where the old city of David would be.....Unfortunately, the antichrist will have to enforce a covenant with "Death and Hell" in order for the temple to be built which will take up to three years.

At the midpoint of the 7 years (Daniel's 70th week), the Antichrist will commit the 'Abomination of Desolate'. From that point in time, Yes, Jerusalem, the third temple will be ravaged and destroyed.

This is the result of avoiding the literal reading of Bible prophecy. It is not the world that will end, but the evil doers who will be brought to an end by Christ Himself.

Why do you blatantly ignore scripture abcdef? Have you never read where Gog and Magog and all of the nations with her come down to attack Israel and God himself turns every man's sword against each other? That event is still future. Likewise, have you not read Rev.12 where the woman/Israel flees out into the desert where God has a place to care for her during that 1260 days? Since He is caring for Israel, does that sound like He against her?

God has not abandoned His people Israel! That last seven years of the seventy sets of seven years must be fulfilled in order to "finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place."

What in the scripture makes you think that this is a 200 million "man" army? What kind of horses exist that have heads like lions heads with fire, smoke and sulfur issue forth to kill a third of mankind? Do you even bother to read scripture? Jerusalem is not going to fall by this arm of 200 million. But what does the scripture say? They will kill a third of mankind. That number is much, much more that Israel.
