YOU HAVE IT, SO SAY IT![/h][HR][/HR]
Have you come across people who have little, yet even that little is taken away from them? On the other hand, there are those who already have much, yet they receive even more.

Jesus said, “To everyone who has, more will be given. From him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.” Notice that Jesus doesn’t go on to say what it is we have. He simply says, “But to everyone who has.”

Jesus is talking about a firm belief in God’s Word that gives one the courage to say, “I have it!” If you say that you have it, you have it, and more will be given to you. But if you say that you don’t have it, when you actually do because God has freely given us all things (Romans 8:32), then even what you have will be taken away—not by God but by the devil! The devil does not want you to walk in God’s blessings. So when you say that you don’t have it, he can rob you of your blessings because he has your agreement!

When you need something, God says that you are to ask of Him. And when you ask, believe that you receive it. (Mark 11:24) Say you already have it even if you don’t see it in the physical realm yet, and one day, you will see it!

God is not saying, “Oh come on, pretend that you see it. And if you pretend long enough, you will have it.” This is not a game! God is telling us to call forth those things which don’t exist as though they do. (Romans 4:17)

Today, we are talking about the haves and have-nots in the church. If you believe that it is yours, you will have it. You will see yourself possessing it and enjoying it, and more will be given to you. But if you say, “Well, I don’t feel it and I’m not sure if it will come,” in essence, you are saying that you don’t have it when you actually do. Then, even what you have will be taken away. So say you have it today!

My heart is truly troubled by this devotional. This, to my mind, is the worst one I have seen from this Pastor. This IS virtually name it and claim it.

I am literally sad for you Joanie. No condescension meant at all.

For so many years I wondered what this could possibly mean. Why would God who is so good and merciful especially to the have not's and needy in this world take away the little they had???? Why would His Word tell us to care for those who are without?
Why would the Bible tell us to be like Jesus and even give up our coat for others who need it? I just could not understand this.

It was not until I began reading the Bible for myself and getting "detoxified" from my old religious up bringing that I was ready to hear the truth. It was not God our loving generous kind Abba Father taking the little I had away. No.,

It was as it always was and is here on earth... the devil and the world and the flesh. Stealing and killing and destroying come from the devil.., not the One who Jesus came to represent in all His fullness.

God is always the Giver because of Jesus we see how MUCH He gave and gives at all times. He who did not withhold His VERY BEST Romans 8:32

[SUP]32 [/SUP]He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?

[SUP]30 [/SUP]And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].
[SUP]
31 [/SUP]What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]
[SUP]
32 [/SUP]He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?
[SUP]
33 [/SUP]Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]
[SUP]
34 [/SUP]Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?

Daily believing and leaning on the love of God in Jesus is the only WAY to find deliverance from wrong believing and wrong living. The Bible says and ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free... John 8:32 But unless we 'BELIEVE' the truth... it will not take place in our daily lives.

I'm sorry you feel that way PennEd. I seriously can't grasp what you are so against in this message? That we need to believe God is loving and kind in order to walk by faith and not by sight for the Truth of it??? That we need to believe before we see? Did you even read the words apart from your own religious up bringing PennEd. ?

Can you not even see what is being said vs what you believe is being said. The lens of religious teaching distorts the truth of who God really is. He is just as Jesus showed Him to be.... kind... loving... generous., the All Gracious God and Father. To believe anything else is what is truly sad and truly troubling.

But you don't read from the Bible. You read from men who will give you what you want the Bible to say.

Detoxed? Yeah, something like going from being an alcoholic to a heroin addict, and then preaching the virtues of heroin to detox from alcohol.

I feel like you come on here to throw lots and lots of candy at little kids, because candy tastes good, and who wants a healthy dinner anyway?

You may well make the kids happy for a little while, but no more healthy than you are, always living on candy and wondering why everyone complains about what you bring.

If the lens of religious teaching distorts the truth of who God is, then why do you live on nothing but "religious teachings?"

The summary:
Today, we are talking about the haves and have-nots in the church. If you believe that it is yours, you will have it. You will see yourself possessing it and enjoying it, and more will be given to you. But if you say, “Well, I don’t feel it and I’m not sure if it will come,” in essence, you are saying that you don’t have it when you actually do. Then, even what you have will be taken away. Name it, claim it! The power of positive thinking. New age GARBAGE!!!

By now, I am sure you know what you're doing. You're teaching candy-flavored lies to make yourself deserve whatever It you want at any given moment.

But I'm here to make sure the kids don't eat your poison.

Joseph Prince doesn't rabbit trail! He guides people into a ditch that makes the Grand Canyon look like a dent in the sidewalk. And after the pain, the hurt, and the anger when people wake up at the bottom of his ditch, they ask, "Why did you lie to me, God?"

And by now, I think you think you're the Pied Piper, trying to find the naive children, playing the same unending tune, and leading them straight to the ditch.

I'm not rabbit holing. I'm the one teaching the kids the difference between New Age/WoF/Power of Positive Thinking and the Lord.

I thought it was a good post Joaniemarie...

I've asked God many times to take away my addiction from Marijauana, and I believe he would do it, but there has always been times where I would back track and go back to enjoying it again, and now He has been working with me, to keep on the right track, even though it is very tough sometimes to deal with. He keeps me out trouble, because I have asked Him too, help me with it.

I believe we can always ask God for help with anything, and He will help us, even it might take a little while because God doesn't work on our own time, and sometime we have to be patient, and that can go for asking for help finding the right job to work at, or asking for someone to pass on the highway and stop to help you because you ran out of gas and they happen to bring some gas, before you have to call someone to pick you up...

God works, and we have to ask, and God will provide, even when sometimes we just may have to go through the experience, and learn from the mistakes we have made, or unfortunate events that occur that we can be prepared for the next that it does happen...

I don't know much about the man, but if He believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, He most certainly our brother in Christ Jesus. Which is something to be thankful for.

People are amazing aren't they... The internet is so full of just amazing people has I have blogged it in the only blog Ill ever make for this site.

This is probably tough to understand, but Matt. 25:1-30 has absolutely nothing to do with stuff.
Matt. 25:29 is saying that if you have understanding, you will be given more. If you don't have understanding and you don't seek it, any part of understanding you may have will be taken from you and you'll be left in total darkness void of any truth.
This is about spiritual treasure not worldly.

I hear ya Matt. It's very difficult and pretty near impossible to stop an addiction in our own strength as Christians. It comes down to believing what the Bible says about what we have been given in Christ when we got saved. (When we got born again.) We were given Jesus righteousness and the Holy Spirit. We are now the righteousness of God IN Christ. 2 Cor.5:21

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [[SUP][a][/SUP]endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

People are addicted to many things and I've discovered it's about learned behavior. As humans we find out what gives us the best relief or best pay back. It's how we learned to survive here on earth. It's very difficult to near impossible for some even to hold their temper let alone stop smoking. But God our Father has not left us to fend for ourselves in this.

Because Jesus died on the cross and paid for our freedom we no longer have to be subject and controlled by our old habits of sin and it's destructive rotten consequences. The peaceable fruit of righteousness comes only from walking in the Spirit. As believers now., we have what we didn't have before we got saved.... a new spirit man and the Holy Spirit to teach...guide...direct... strengthen...comfort and empower us.

Did you know discipline is a fruit of the Spirit? Gal.5:22

[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
[SUP]
23 [/SUP]Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[SUP][a][/SUP]that can bring a charge].
[SUP]
24 [/SUP]And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.
[SUP]
25 [/SUP]If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit [SUP][b][/SUP]we have our life in God, let us go forward [SUP][c][/SUP]walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.]
[SUP]
26 [/SUP]Let us not become vainglorious and self-conceited, competitive and challenging and provoking and irritating to one another, envying and being jealous of one another.

As with any addiction., Jesus has broken it's power in our lives and we learn how to walk out our new man who was born in righteousness. Some Christians have been delivered from certain behaviors right away while others have learned to see the truth slowly by faith who they are in Christ. Phil.2:12-13

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, [SUP][c][/SUP]with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).
[SUP]

13 [/SUP][Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while [SUP][d][/SUP]effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and [SUP][e][/SUP]delight.

Knowing what the truth is and what the promises are I've discovered is "key" to knowing what I can pray for to be REAL and not a figment of my imagination. The Bible is clear about us being new creations in Christ. And how to walk it out has to be done by the Spirit He has given us. We can't do it in our own will power and strength.

We have been delivered from the power of sin but not the presence of sin. It's all around us in the world... the flesh and the devil. But Jesus has given us the victory in Him. We access this truth by faith. We ignore what the world...flesh and devil try to tell us and we go with what the Bible and the Holy Spirit tell us as we walk in the new creation we are IN Christ. We do this by faith. Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [SUP][a][/SUP]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

I'll be praying for you Brother Matt. Oh., the other day you were posting to Grandpa and you addressed him as; Brother Grandpa. I thought that was a good one. :)

If we are talking addiction, your addiction to Joseph Prince and his cult, and Paul Ellis and his cult, pretty much sums up people who get caught in cults. Or addicted, if you want.

Please read your Bible on your own, without a mediator. JP and PE have become your priests. They stand between you and God. You are living in the shadow of miscreants and liars, instead of standing in the bright sun shine of the Holy One of Israel, and letting the Holy Spirit guide and lead you.

I could tear this devotional to shreds, exegetically. But I know you never read them.

And for anyone who reads these and thinks they have any scriptural validity? You also need to stop watching internet videos and WoF preachers, get out your Bible and read it in context.

LIke PennEd, this devotional breaks my heart. When I first knew you, you were a woman hungry to know more of God. Now, you are bound and chained, and throwninto that crevasse so deep, no one can reach you.

So tragic! So sad!

[SUP]James 3:10-18
10 [/SUP]Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so.
[SUP]
11 [/SUP]Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter?
[SUP]
12 [/SUP]Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine figs? Neither can a salt spring furnish fresh water.
[SUP]
13 [/SUP]Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then let him by his noble living show forth his [good] works with the [unobtrusive] humility [which is the proper attribute] of true wisdom.
[SUP]
14 [/SUP]But if you have bitter jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry, selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not pride yourselves on it and thus be in defiance of and false to the Truth.
[SUP]
15 [/SUP]This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal).
[SUP]
16 [/SUP]For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices.
[SUP]
17 [/SUP]But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).
[SUP]
18 [/SUP]And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].

The Bible says and ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free... John 8:32 But unless we 'BELIEVE' the truth... it will not take place in our daily lives.

Keeping the thread on track.

My heart is truly troubled by this devotional. This, to my mind, is the worst one I have seen from this Pastor. This IS virtually name it and claim it.

I am literally sad for you Joanie. No condescension meant at all.
Yea it looks like it .

Yea that sums it up.

So tragic! So sad!
Maybe your on ignore.

Pretty sure I am! But I do report the OP, and I do read enough to stand against this vile and disgusting copy and paste heresies! Of course, she must hate the way I do properly exegete the passage, because it reminds her she is holding onto lies and vain imaginings.

I’m just too busy with German, taking walks in the spring sunshine and studying the Bible more deeply, to waste any more time on this OP with such a deluded and hard heart. I just hope most people see through these childish and “all about me” devotionals, and look to God. Instead, Joanie and her priests are such poor teachers, because they don’t know the material, that being the about is, and I suspect don’t know God, if these devotionals are any indication!
.
Well, one day they will be sinners in the hands of an angry God! And they will realize the folly of their ways!

Considering without faith it's impossible to please God, it is a far greater error to replace words of faith with words of unbelief. The Pharisees thought they had perfect theology. And anyone who disagreed with them was a "sinner". Jesus told them they strained at a gnat, but swallowed a camel.
