Romans 1: 1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, having been separated to the good news of God -- 2 which He announced before through His prophets in holy writings -- 3 concerning His Son, (who is come of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 who is marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of sanctification, by the rising again from the dead,) Jesus Christ our Lord; 5 through whom we did receive grace and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations, in behalf of his name; 6 among whom are also ye, the called of Jesus Christ;
7 to all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called saints; Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ!

1 Corinthians 1: Paul, a called apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, and Sosthenes the brother, 2 to the assembly of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints, with all those calling upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place -- both theirs and ours: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

Galatians 1: 1: Paul, an apostle -- not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who did raise him out of the dead -- 2 and all the brethren with me, to the assemblies of Galatia: 3 Grace to you, and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,

Ephesians 1: 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1: 1 Paul and Timotheus, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with overseers and ministrants; 2 Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1: 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timotheus the brother, 2 to the saints in Colossae, and to the faithful brethren in Christ: Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!

1 Thessalonians 1: 1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, to the assembly of Thessalonians in God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!

1 Timothy 1: 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to a command of God our Saviour, and of the Lord Jesus Christ our hope, 2 to Timotheus -- genuine child in faith: Grace, kindness, peace, from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord, 3 according as I did exhort thee to remain in Ephesus -- I going on to Macedonia -- that thou mightest charge certain not to teach any other thing,

1 Titus 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of the choice ones of God, and an acknowledging of truth that [is] according to piety, 2 upon hope of life age-during, which God, who doth not lie, did promise before times of ages, 3 (and He manifested in proper times His word,) in preaching, which I was entrusted with, according to a charge of God our Saviour, 4 to Titus -- true child according to a common faith: Grace, kindness, peace, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour!

Philemon 1: 1 Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timotheus the brother, to Philemon our beloved and fellow-worker, 2 and Apphia the beloved, and Archippus our fellow-soldier, and the assembly in thy house:

Hebrews : Was written to Jewish Converts noting the name of it called Hebrews.

James 1:1 James, of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ a servant, to the Twelve Tribes who are in the dispersion: Hail!

1 Peter 1: Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the choice sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 according to a foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied!

1 John : I don't really exactly know who it was written to but it is here in the bible.

2 John: 1 The Elder to the choice Kyria, and to her children, whom I love in truth, and not I only, but also all those having known the truth,

3 John: 1 The Elder to Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth!

Jude 1: 1 Judas, of Jesus Christ a servant, and brother of James, to those sanctified in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ kept -- called, 2 kindness to you, and peace, and love, be multiplied!

Revelation 1: A revelation of Jesus Christ, that God gave to him, to shew to his servants what things it behoveth to come to pass quickly; and he did signify [it], having sent through his messenger to his servant John, 2 who did testify the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, as many things also as he did see. 3 Happy is he who is reading, and those hearing, the words of the prophecy, and keeping the things written in it -- for the time is nigh! 4 John to the seven assemblies that [are] in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from Him who is, and who was, and who is coming, and from the Seven Spirits that are before His throne

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I don't include the book of Acts in this because that was the Apostles on their mission to do what Jesus Christ had set out for them to do until he came back, to put a end to the Messianic age.

The Gospels was played out in front of their eyes while Jesus Christ walking around, died, and rose again. He came for the house of Israel.

For myself it means, that a lot of the new testament letters where written to people in a certain frame work and time period who are all gone now, are dead and passed away, the Age of that time has done come and has passed away.

It's a thread explaining all who the new testament was written to...

I ain't no one special, and am kinda ready to die because I don't feel well, but anyway...
(I'll be fine I promise do not worry) -

Please just pray for everyone you love, and those you have around you, even those that hate you.

Do you have any thoughts about this wolfwint ? About what I have shared as to who the bible was written to?
Or do you want to attack me for my beliefs that Jesus Christ has already returned... because this is not what the thread is about.

@Lucy, Yes, every thing will be alright.
@p_rehbein

So...

It was written to them and it doesn't even matter right?

I mean I'm signifying and showing the scriptures to who it was written to, we say Sola Scriptura and we go right by the bible and what it says, the challenge is, is it being done in the right way, as far as context goes?

Lol, I just want the bible to be used correctly when I am ever going to be taught it, do you know what I mean? Not just all willy nilly. Here is a verse from here, here is a verse from there.

All of things learned can be spiritually applied to ones faith in what you learn from these context, and your knowledge can grow learning about God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, no doubt.

Did I do it right? Or did I do it wrong?

Why don't people who play church, call out people by getting in to there personal lives, and call them out in front of everyone and tell them to get out of the church?

Like the guy who slept with his fathers, wife or whatever?

I mean the context from that time is so much different than what is done now today it is quite laughable, at how people use the bible, when they can't even do it like the saints back in the day did it.

I will say it is always about Loving God, and Loving others having faith, in the Lord Jesus Christ, and God. nothing more nothing less.

Dude........you are off the wall........what with Jesus ALREADY having returned 'n' such............

That alone removes ANY possibility of folks taking ANYTHING you say seriously........

The New Testament Scriptures are written TO ALL THE CHURCH, past, present, and future! His Word/Scriptures will never pass away!

You are making it sound AS IF the Scriptures of the New Testament ARE NOT for today's Church, and that is nonsense!

Jesus HIMSELF disputes your assertion......

John 17:20) Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Then why did Jesus Christ come for the house of Israel, and why is all the scripture I have shared from the new testament being wrote to the saints of all of these different places?

Did Jesus Christ, lie to the people back then, about returning ? - If you want to go there...

I understand you're defending your position but can you explain to me why even with the context given it would be a lie?

John 17:20) Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Actually, It doesn't... Using one verse doesn't help me understand everything else that was said before hand before leading up to this point... especially when it comes to Jesus Christ speaking. If you can explain this further I may have a comment back then again maybe I don't. Just let me know how I am wrong about everything I have shared here with you today.

You're interjecting your opinion over the scripture as far as you can say that the new testament was written to ALL THE CHURCH, past, future, present...

Why couldn't it have been that they were been His chosen church that back then? The scripture says they are called Saints.

Of course we are part of Christ Jesus, and Jesus Christ lives in us by faith in Him, and we are a walking epistle among the earth and Jesus Christ light shines through us by our belief in Him.
There is value in having Christ Jesus in your life right?

Is the church more important than Him as of todays standards? Because I don't think God deals with materials anymore, He deals with people, individually.

What I mean by God doesn't deal with material things is like sacrifices, preisthoods, man built churches.

Matt, Jesus is coming at the END OF THE AGE. If you look at Revelations objectively you will see that what happens is yet to come. In Chapters 6 and 7 it is my belief that this describes a large heavenly body, maybe Nibiru passing close to Earth. The meteors in its tail being cast to earth, the land masses being moved out of place and the gravitational pull sucking the atmosphere so it appears the heavens rolled back like a scroll. After this the multitudes in white robes arrive on the scene because they were either raptured or died. It is well known that there are many bases in mountains for the elites and military. This is who is stating, “hide us from who sits on the throne.” After this the Antichrist brings peace in the turmoil and devastation. It isn’t a common belief by Christians but heavenly beings/aliens may even descend to help out. Lucifer and his angels are cast down to earth. Once the Earth is cleaned up and commerce gets back on its feet, the Antichrist begins his campaign of terror against remaining believers until Christ returns to claim His throne in Chapter 14. He begins a military campaign that finishes at the famed Battle of Armageddon, where He destroys the Enemy. At the end of the next age, Lucifarians try again to take over unsuccessfully. Following this is the Great White throne judgement, new heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem.

The bible is a great history book.

God's story book for us to learn about Him, and His Son Jesus Christ.

It is one of the greatest gifts we have aside from the spirit, that lives inside of those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who also lives inside of us.

We can have peace in our hearts, and have understanding that God, and the Lord Jesus Christ love us, and we can have an open relationship with them both, because of everything that the Lord Jesus Christ did!

The bible is wonderful for us to have no doubt about it, but so much more is the Lord Jesus Christ, and God who are in your life now, even when you do not have the word in front of you all the time, or when do not study it.

You can always be assured that God is with you, and the Lord Jesus Christ is with you, and you have them there with you always, near to hear you in the times of trails, and things that come up in this world that come up against you.

It is always going to be about Loving God, and Loving others, having faith in God and the Lord Jesus Christ...

I shared all of the information here about the people whom were written to back in the day who received these letters then, because I personally believe it is very important to know...

Thanks for everyone who has viewed this topic, and have seen through it.

I am not crazy, I believe in God's word, I just notice somethings other do tend to miss or have forgotten about ever since they read the Word of God.

I believe that Jesus Christ has defeated death, Satan, Beast, Anti-christ, Satan's Demons, and all things have been placed underneath his feet already my friend.

I fear not some mass crazy geneocide like world to start going hay wire anytime soon, there was a great tribulation mentioned by Jesus Christ Himself to His disciples did He lie to them about returning? Did the apostles lie to the people whom they wrote to about waiting for His coming back? Was this great tribulation ever going to happen more than just one time, or only Just once?

What you are sharing with us is Futurism, I don't subscribe to this my dear brother in Christ Jesus Hungry. You are fully free to believe in this form of theology if you wish to! We do have freedom in Christ Jesus to do so, we are also free of condemnation, we are also made right in God's sight by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank God for the Lord Jesus Christ, amen! God bless everyone of you!

Dear MattG, I dont want attack you. But from your former Threads I know that you proclaimed very much that Jesus already has returned. The Way you use your words in this Thread let me suppose it will go in the same direction. Its your view, but why you will convince others to believe this view, if you already did this in former threads? Ore want you say, that the NT is not for us now because the Origin adressates do not Stay in Live?

So what then is useful to us from the Word of God Today? The meaning which we found in many protestant churches, that what then hold for Gods Word is Gods Word and what then dont want is not Gods Word. Is the Clay in the Position to Way the Player what is right and wrong and how the Way is to Build ihm?
Do you believe you Please God in questioning bis Word. To tell him what should be useful and what not.
Without the truth of the Word of God you Never would known anything about the Living Hope which you have in the Lord Jesus.

Matt is speaking of audience relevance which needs to be taken into account when attempting to understand the message - he has a valid point.

Most futurist "theologies" ignore this especially when dealing with time specific statements that actually defeat what they proclaim and when this is challenged they blithely trot out the "thousand years as a day" mantra from Peter's letter.

All scripture as God's living abiding eternal word is profitable to those it affects .when God sends it out it does not return void of its effect. It can either draw a person closer or cause a person fall away.

If it is was written to them, it is written to us as the same us that does make up His bride the church If they knew not Christ went out from us the same applies with us. God puts no difference between a Jew and a Gentile .A person in poverty or a person who has more than what they need.. Its men who add differences. God is no respecter of persons

If it was written to the old testement saints it is written to the saints on this side of the cross .Both receiving the salvation of their souls from the the beginning of the hearing of faith just as if it was the end

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:Searching what, or what manner of time the
Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.1Pe 1:9

Because it speaks to the heart of all new creatures you could change that you in bold above and put your name ; who prophesied of the grace that should come unto Matt

There are no private revelations as writings to the Jews or the Gentile .Not one saint has received the promise. that promise will be on the last day when all do receive their new incorruptible bodies

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.Heb 11:39

lol, the odd part though is that in the op he by not mentioning the Gospels drew a line and separated the who's who of who they were written to just like dispensationist do(subliminally)...see ya later alligator,,

The bible is more than a history book, It is Gods love letter to his people. If you are his child. It is for you, and me and all of his children.

The NT was written to me, his son, It was written to my brothers and sisters in Christ His church. It was not written to them only. Even the OT has much to offer those in the church who read it with open eyes and understand the great truthsd and examples given.

lol, the odd part though is that in the op he by not mentioning the Gospels drew a line and separated the who's who of who they were written to just like dispensationist do(subliminally)...see ya later alligator,,
I don't think that was intentional soandso, he's more like emphasizing rather than the letters being written to Dear Christian throughout the centuries is pointing out they were addresses to a specific people in a particular time. That's not to say they don't have any meaning for us.

See, if I wasn't an alligator I might think you were speaking to some crocodiles hundreds of years from now..:p

There WILL be a grreat tribulation such as never been seen before. Much worse that WW2 (which was the greatest tribulation the world has ever experienced) And jesus will return when he said he will (when all life on earth is threatened) which again, has yet to happen.

So what then is useful to us from the Word of God Today?

Brother Wolfwint, the Word of God can allow us to have the Good news of the Lord Jesus Christ to everyone else, because we have recieved salvation and freedom to be able to love others, and love God, and having the ability to have a relationship with God, and the Lord Jesus Christ. That we can have peace in our lives as we live today.

Do you believe you Please God in questioning his Word?

We please God by faith, in the Lord Jesus Christ. Not questioning what the truth of the Word of God does say for us, and we have the ability to look, and even look at the day in age when the disciples were alive, and the times that were going on around them back then too, which is so awesome, for anyone to grab a hold of and understand as well.

To tell Him what should be useful and what not?

No, God knows what is useful for us to have, and that is to have the Lord Jesus Christ in our life, that we can have strength to overcome things, we couldn't before living as the old man, who did never believe in God and/or even the Lord Jesus Christ. God is a Good, Fair loving God, and we all go through many experiences in our individual lifes.

Most futurist "theologies" ignore this especially when dealing with time specific statements that actually defeat what they proclaim and when this is challenged they blithely trot out the "thousand years as a day" mantra from Peter's letter.
Brother Locutus, if A thousand years is like a day with the Lord.
A day is like a thousand years with the Lord.
There is not any time because they are both forever canceling each other out?

All scripture as God's living abiding eternal word is profitable to those it affects .when God sends it out it does not return void of its effect. It can either draw a person closer or cause a person fall away.
Yes, brother Garee. I agree 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us every Writing [is] God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for setting aright, for instruction that [is] righteousness, that the man of God may be fitted -- for every good work having beening completed. This is also Paul writing to Timothy, and reminding him, that he was taught the scriptures at a young age, meaning that this is referring to the Old testament.

If it is was written to them, it is written to us as the same us that does make up His bride the church If they knew not Christ went out from us the same applies with us. God puts no difference between a Jew and a Gentile .A person in poverty or a person who has more than what they need.. Its men who add differences. God is no respecter of persons
Well, my question is;

Why does the bible call all of the people from the regions I have posted here on this original post saints? You see that there are the Assembly of God in Corithians, and Ephesus, and Philippi how intresting right?

Could they be the saints refered to all over the bible?

I also agree with you that God is not a respector of persons and that would mean even me, but we know from what the bible say that God is love, and He loves us, and we Love the Lord Jesus Christ, and do our best to forgive, and love others the best we can, as the bible says try to be at peace with all people.

If it was written to the old testement saints it is written to the saints on this side of the cross .Both receiving the salvation of their souls from the the beginning of the hearing of faith just as if it was the end
The salvation we can find the bible, is the Good news of the Lord Jesus Christ, who can set us free from bondage, and have the ability to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Father in heaven. :)
