Also for your answers outside the poll explain "in your own words" why your beliefs have stayed the same or not,or particularly the "inspiration" for why you believe they have stayed the same or not.

Mine has definitely changed. At one time I thought the concordances, lexicons and scholars had authority when it came to the word of God and then my eyes were opened and I came to the great truth that the word of God is the ultimate authority.

I'm not going to believe anyone who voted not at all. No one goes through their entire life, from the first moment of their birth to their final breath, knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior. At some point, whether at a young preschool or their second to last final breath, someone ministered to that person. I'm really curious to see who the liars are going to be. Come in, there plenty of seats.

Perhaps some are like Luke (Luke 1:3) and understood everything perfectly from the very beginning? :D

Mine have changed over the course the years for sure as does anyone's who hopes to mature and grow in Christ. What we once believed as babes never remains the same for we were untaught untrained and still on milk unable to chew anything solid.

I included "no not at all" because some people stick to "one" belief ideally but I do believe we "change" our beliefs overtime and of course get them "challenged".

Hello Joefizz!

The way that it came about with me is that, throughout the years of studying, everything that the Spirit gave me understanding of through all scripture and that I was sure of, I believed and proclaimed. Anything that I wasn't sure of, went into what I call my "spiritual cupboard," which is where it would stay until the Lord revealed the answer to me. Therefore, my beliefs and claims have remained the same. For example, there wasn't a time where I believed that the church would be gathered when the Lord returned to the earth to end the age and then later changed my mind and believed that the church would be gathered prior to the end of the age. I would not be firm on any biblical subject until I had a firm understanding of all the related scriptures.

I used to believe in KJV only

I used to believe baptists where the only ones going to heaven

I used to believe in the Gap theory

I used to be a non swayable pretrib rapture follower (I still lean that way, but not so dogmatically, I understand I may be wrong)

I used to believe people in the OT were saved by law. And during the trib period. They would return to law (it was taught in my chuirch)

I used to believe people who got sick where in sin, and if they could not stop certain sin habits they had no faith in God. And most likely were not saved

I used to believe america was Gods newest and present day client nation (replaced isreal and under leviticus 26 guidelines) in fact, I wrote a paper in high school explaining how the failed rescue attempt in the iranian hostage crisis (we ran with our tails between our legs even though no one even came after them (for those who remember) was part of the Leviticus 26 punishment

Lev 26: 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies.
Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.

I am sure I can think of more, is this enough?

Some are embarrasing, lol the paper I wrote in High school. I am shocked I even believed that, but at the time, that is what our pastor taught.
