Further, a total lack of understanding of context, and Bible interpretation, means these false preachers are ripping verses out of context.

For example, did you know the demons are all saved? I can prove it from the Bible.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

”[FONT=&quot]You believe that God is one; well and good. Even the demons believe that—and tremble with fear.” James 2:19
[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
Therefore, demons, who believe and are trembling reverently before the King of Kings, Jesus Christ, are saved! Such a simple and obvious misuse of Scripture. BUT, the principle is the same. For something to be a good doctrine, it must read that way in context and it must appear in many places in the Bible.

Also notice, I added something to the paragraph above this one, that is NOT there, but it is very swaying, and puts demons in a good light.

”demons who believe and tremble “reverently!” Reverently is NOT there in James 2:19, not even implied. Adding to the Word is another subtle trick that this hypergrace teachers love to do. So, basically, instead of taking a doctrine OUT of the Bible - exegesis, they are reading INTO the Bible (eisegesis) exactly what they want it to say.

So, no, when I go through Joanie’s copy and paste threads, I don’t even need a fine tooth comb. They are just all so exegetically wrong and twisted. They have committed a crime against the Word of God, making it say what it doesn’t say, all in the name of “feel goodness.”

Joanie Marie is pushing a heresy, a dangerous and damaging one, in hypergrace and its foundation, Word Faith, and I will keep standing up to her lies, her not referencing her sources, her unethical behaviour, and of course, whatever nonsense she has copied and pasted.

Joanie is a proselytizer for Hypergrace, and she is a manipulator the way she does it. I really and truly don’t understand how someone can say, “Oh I just pick out the true, parts, the parts I agree with and only use those things.”

So, if an unrepentant murderer came into CC, looking for prey, but wrote some good things, quoting the Bible, would you let it go unnoticed? If you found out that murderer was pming all the women, flattering them, offering them to fly them to meet him, would you just say, “Oh well, he quoted my favourite verse, so I guess he is ok!” No, you would go the mods, you might even go to the police!

But when someone misquotes the Bible, lies about where she got the material, no sources, banned members should be returning and actively quoting them, and seems to show no remorse, because her false teachings have told her once she is saved, she doesn’t have to confess her sins, nor even reflect is something is right or wrong, WHY WOULD YOU BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD SHE HAS POSTED? Sure we are all sinners, but Joanie, and Grace777 whose post appeared above, both firmly believe you don’t have to confess your sins, you are basically just to bask in the sun of Jesus’ light, and if it feels good, well, hey, it must be ok, right?

(Oh, we won’t even get into their “further revelation” the Holy Spirit gives them, which Baptists etc, don’t get, because we are not walking with the Holy Spirit. I’ve got news for them! Charismatics and their offshoots do not have exclusive use of the Holy Spirit. He comes into every single believer and leads and guides them. So, if Joanie’s truth is totally different from my truth, she has often said/implied, that it is because I don’t have the Holy Spirit in fullness (wait, maybe that was StonesofFire?) Well, Joanie has implied it over and over. As have many others who say my “book learning” has dried me out, is not from God, etc, etc. Well, I just remember the times God called me to go to seminary, and how my life was a mess, till I stopped running from God, and obeyed that command. That command was in the small still voice, did not contradict Scripture, and that Voice has been leading me into all truth, for nearly 38 years.

[/FONT]
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you what is to come. 14 He will glorify me, because he will receive from me what is mine and will tell it to you.” John 16:13-14
[FONT=&quot]
Since the Day of Pentecost, all believers have had access to the Spirit of Truth. No special, new, unBiblical revelations, that some of us cannot partake of! [/FONT]

Okay angela, show me. This is the first post of hers that I hit like on. What about this post have I liked because I have itching ears? I think it is true. But I will consider anything you have to say about this post of hers. I'm not talking about any other post than this one I hit like on. And I'm not talking about the posts of hers I have NOT hit like on.

The Galatians lost their liberty in Christ by allowing themselves to be enslaved to the yoke of the law. In their case the issue was circumcision, but for us it could be anything that puts a price tag on grace—church rules, confession of sins, the spiritual disciplines, whatever. I’m not against these things. I’m saying there is nothing we can do to add or improve upon Christ’s perfect work.

We stand by grace alone.

The Galatians had a different view. Some guys with long faces and long knives came preaching mixture and the Galatians bought it hook, line, and sinker. But does this mean the Galatians were now unsaved, under condemnation, and hell-bound? No. Falling from grace does not mean falling out of the kingdom.

“You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” (Gal 5:4)

The NIV Bible says the Galatians alienated themselves from Christ. Other translations say they became estranged, separated, severed, and cut off. These are serious words with serious implications, but they do not imply condemnation.

Who cut them off? It wasn’t Christ.

Who did the separating? Not Jesus.

As always, he remains the thoroughly faithful husband who keeps us safe while promising that no one, not even ourselves in a moment of stupidity, can snatch us out of his hands.

Paul never tells the Galatians, “You are losing your salvation.” Instead, he says, “You are indulging the flesh” (Galatians 5:13). They were becoming carnal, biting and devouring one another in vicious arguments. The danger is not that God will destroy them, but that “you will be destroyed by each other” (Galatians 5:15).

Remove grace from any community and you will soon have quarrels, strife, bickering, manipulation, envy, hatred, and all the other works of the flesh that Paul lists in Galatians 5:19–21. But none of these things will send you to hell.

When Paul reminds the Galatians that “they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom,” he’s saying, “Those who belong to Christ shouldn’t act like those who don’t.”

If Christians were kicked out of the kingdom every time they walked after the flesh, heaven would be empty

That's a bit silly brother. Why have a conversation with her or ask her questions if you don't read what she writes? I have a big issue with what she writes on healing but as for works versus trust she has a firm and excellent grasp.

I agree with this assessment and reeeaaally wish Joannie would stick with what you said.

Perhaps it's you who doesn't understand the new birth. I'd bet you believe that the new birth removed your sin nature completely and made you perfect. How is it then that your perfect, incorruptible self sins?
Perfect is in complete. Not sinless perfection on our behalf .He did not remove or sin nature just the eternal wage of those who come short of His glory .

Do you know anyone that does not fall short of the glory of God other than God? The one we have our confidence in?
Who are you having your confidence in?

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Not sure what you mean by this, but this is what Jude meant by contending for the faith - guarding one's self from the teachings of these kinds of deceivers.

Jude 1:3-21
Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. 4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

5 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord[c] at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings. 9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”[d] 10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.

11 Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.

12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. 13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”[e] 16 These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.

17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Again whose faith guards our hearts as the sword of the Spirit?

We defend it, the faith of Christ... because it first defends us. It his mutual faith that works in us to both will and do His good pleasure.

I think it can be seen in spiritual gifts that he works in us (not of us) They always effect at least two people. Paul was given the gift of prophecy it worked as a gift in the one. Paul was directed to by faith, as the calling of His will . It mutually worked to edify both .No such thing as self-edification. The gift is not of us lest any man boast.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith ( Christ’s) both of you and me. Rom 1:10

As it works in one, it works to defend us in all

When Jude said contend for the faith he was referring to safeguarding the body of doctrine (teachings of the gospel) delivered to the saints and to assuring that our lives conform to it. If we preserve and follow it, it will preserve us.

Pay close attention to your life and to your teaching. Persevere in these things, for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you. 1 Timothy 4:16

Jesus gave us new commandments.
Yes,under law no one could keep the commandments but under grace,JESUS Is the vine and we are the branches receiving sustenance from the vine displaying spiritual fruit and establishing the law.

Once again, JM has failed to take heed, and given us another morsel of false doctrine from Joseph Prince.

1. According to this post, physical healing is GUARANTEED to all who have faith. Yet there are thousands of Christians who did have faith but were never healed of sickness, disease, or disability.

2. The false teaching of physical healing being guaranteed in the Atonement is once again promoted, when the focus in Scripture is on the healing of the sin-sick soul through the blood of Christ.

3. At the same time an alcoholic who has NEVER EXERCISED FAITH, never repented of his sins, never been in church before, is reeking of alcohol, is "healed" (but we still don't know if he was saved).

4. The verse quoted from Galatians 3:5 has been pulled out of context, and applied to physical healing, when the entire chapter is all about being justified -- not healed -- by grace through faith.

So what do you make of this extremely bizarre post which is not only misleading, but confusing, and has failed to proclaim the key truth of that chapter? The teachings of Joseph Prince and his ilk should now be banned.

You see, I have watched Joanie fall down this rabbit hole, tried to pull her out, only to be thrown this kind of twisted post back at me.

And, since you are not onto Joanie's tricks, this is an unreferenced copy and paste from Paul Ellis, "Escape to Reality." Grace777 also used to post his blogs constantly. Although, I will say at least he would put a link to it. Joanie, just thinks it is fair game to let everyone think she wrote it. Here is the link to the original website, and the person who actually wrote it:

https://escapetoreality.org/2014/03/27/fallen-from-grace/

So, you are going to believe the words of someone whose only goal is to produce converts to hypergrace, by drawing them in bit by bit, until they have lost their first love, forgotten what the Bible says on all areas of doctrine? This is SEDUCTION, plan and simple.

Now you have fallen into the sweet lie of hypergrace. This is a seduction of God's people. I know, because I was almost seduced into these seemingly honey words a few years back. After all, works is wrong, right? Well, not exactly what what the Bible says. In fact, we do good works, that Christ has prepared for us. So, why all this nonsense about not doing works? There probably aren't a handful of people in this entire forum who believe we save ourselves by our works. Everyone knows it is the grace of God that saves us.

And yet, this is the foot in the door hypergrace and its leaders get in your life. Till gradually, you are seduced and believing it all. And fighting with people who post the Bible in context, because you have literally been pulled into a 21st century cult, with Joseph Prince and Paul Ellis being the chief leaders, and people like Grace777 and Joanie doing their best to pull people into it. Beware! This is a dangerous road you walk, StunnedbyGrace. I'm just thankful for the people in this forum, who kept preaching the Word of God, and pulled me back from that precipice. When I realized that hypergrace doesn't believe in sin in the believer, it was like God put my head next to a large gong, and banged it with his heavenly hammer. I woke up, and realized how easy it was to slip into this modern day heresy, and the on-going efforts of people in this forum.

And again, I ask you, StunnedbyGrace, how can you possibly listen or even read the words of someone who deliberately lies, making it seem like posts which she copied and pasted are hers? That is unethical and reprehensible. Think again when you accept a message from liars and cheats. Because, in the end, the message is tainted, and in fact, is evil and deceptive, when you look beyond these surface copy and pastes of Joanie Marie.

PS. I feel quite certain the majority of Joanie's posts are copy and pasted. But, in fact, I don't have the time or energy to call her out on it. I hope you will copy a paragraph or two, and put it into a search engine. This thread comes up first, being the most recent. A few posts down is the original source - Paul Ellis' site. But, this post you liked so much - not Joanie's, but stolen from a hypergrace website. Don't say you have not been warned!

[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
[SUP]
23 [/SUP]Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[SUP][c][/SUP]that can bring a charge].

Gal.5:13-26

[SUP]13 [/SUP]For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for [SUP][a][/SUP]selfishness], but through love you should serve one another.
[SUP]
14 [/SUP]For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is [SUP][b][/SUP]complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.
[SUP]
15 [/SUP]But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another.
[SUP]
16 [/SUP]But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).
[SUP]
17 [/SUP]For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so that you
are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do.
[SUP]
18 [/SUP]But if you are guided (led) by the [Holy] Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.
[SUP]
19 [/SUP]Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency,
[SUP]
20 [/SUP]Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),
[SUP]
21 [/SUP]Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
[SUP]
22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,

[SUP]
24 [/SUP]And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.
[SUP]
25 [/SUP]If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit [SUP][d][/SUP]we have our life in God, let us go forward [SUP][e][/SUP]walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.]

26 [/SUP]Let us not become vainglorious and self-conceited, competitive and challenging and provoking and irritating to one another, envying and being jealous of one another.

Yes, I see by the link you provided that it was copied from another author and credit was not given. She seems to not understand the seriousness of failing to give credit to a man for his intellectual property. That's a big problem. It is probably a banable offense. If it isn't a banable offense, it really should be, in my opinion. It should be stopped immediately. She should no longer do it. She should paraphrase or put it into her own words OR cite the man whose intellectual property the writing is.

Now that I have addressed the seriousness of that,(it is extremely serious and could bring lawsuit and even create problems for the owner of this site), I do however, agree with what the man said there. I don't know what he's said elsewhere because I don't read him. But with what he said there, I agree.

Additionally, it is not a good feeling to believe you are having a conversation with a person and then find out that you are not really having a conversation and that they are not really investing time but are playing someone elses words and letting you think you are having a conversation with them.

Now that I have addressed the way it makes people feel - the way it makes me feel - I still agree with what the man wrote there. I've no idea what else he has written or if I would agree with it also, but I do agree with what he said there, even though I was led to believe that joanie said it instead of him.

This is #17 in the forum rules for this site. (This would be giving credit for where I got this copied and pasted section of text. It's as simple as that - it's slightly more relaxed when it's not an academic paper being written, but if you are going to quote much more than a paragraph from someone, you should provide the link. At the very least the address for where you got the info from. Even giving the name of the author is okay, so that he gets credit. Just do something to let people know you are not the source.

17. No plagiarism please.Any material posted that is not original to that post (copied from another web page or printed source) should have appropriate foot noting crediting the original source. If the material is original to you but has been copied from or posted on another web page please reference that page to eliminate the possibility of someone mistakenly accusing you of plagiarism. Plagiarism is a criminal offense and posts not following this policy will be removed. Multiple offenses by the same user will result in removal from site.Exception: Bible verses.

As far as I know, the posts of hers that I liked were her own words. And if they weren't her own words, I still agree with them, that they are truth. If the posts I liked are someone elses words and she doesn't give credit, that would be wrong to do. She will have to speak about whether the posts of hers that I liked are plaigiarized or not. I like a post if the truth is being spoken in it.

I don't agree with the teachings of Joseph Prince but many of the devotional posts from him, which Joanmarie posts are quite likable. I like many of them myself. I know you well enough from your posts to be aware that you do NOT hold the doctrine of sinless perfection this side of the grave. It is that doctrine among others that has many believers upset.

I'm not sure if any of the posts of hers I liked were Joseph prince. I know by Angela's link that one of them was written by a man named..Ellis. I agreed with the particular article.

I'm not sure that I've ever heard JM talk about sinless perfectionism. She has clearly stated (although now I don't know if they are her own words or not :( - that the flesh is and will always be in opposition to the Spirit and also that if we walk in the Spirit, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. But this is biblical and I agree that we sin when we stop walking in the Spirit and begin walking in our flesh.

She has said she's gotten better at catching herself walking in the flesh and not going that way for as long of a period of time as she used to. Does that sound like teaching sinless perfectionism or does it sound like someone wanting to walk in the Spirit so they don't sin?

As for hitting like for a post, if someone posts 100 posts that I do not think are the truth, I will not like button any of them. If they then post one that I think is the truth, I will hit like. Sometimes, if a post is true but there is one point I think is not, I will hit like but address the one thing I don't agree with. For that matter, if a post is truth but is with a whole lot of arrogance and nastiness, I won't hit like - not because the thought is not true, but because I disapprove of the display of the flesh added to it.

Sometimes I will like a post I completely disagree with because it very elegantly expresses the opposing point of view.

I can disagree with its content and like its well-craftedness.
