Sweden has become one of the most dangerous places in Europe to be a white female. The "racism" problem has been imported and it's anti-European not anti-black or "ethnic minority"
Institutionalised "diversity" culture is choking Europe.

racism. 99 % of all priests and church-leaders are white males.
I'm not sure how this is in context to the Thread. Racism is “Hate” from the heart of man and the devil. Close relative of murder. And your % of church(white) leaders are not correct.

My only disagreement is that I don't think these are today's issues.

IMO the problems we see in the church [in the USA] today began in 1874 with the founding of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

The central message of Jesus' teachings was and is that ONLY GOD'S GRACE can bring a person into right relationship with GOD. Jesus' contention with the Pharisees was always over legalism.

I believe that the Church's greatest influence over American thought and lifestyle was in 1899 after D. L. Moody, R. A. Tory, H.A. Ironside, and Jack McBurney had joined forces.

Whenever the message 'We are not under law, but under grace' is conflated with the political ambition 'There oughta be a law' the Church [rightly] appears hypocritical!

With the ratification of the 18th amendment in 1920, the notion of Church hypocracy reached its zenith.

In 1927, H.G. Creel, John Dewy, Bertrand Russell, C.F. Potter , and Julian Huxley founded what would become the American Humanist Association with repeal of Prohibition as their rallying point. They were quickly joined by both the Homosexual and Abortion Rights agendas.

By the time they achieved repeal 1n 1933, all three movements had gained enough influence and momentum that they were able to advance each others' agendas.

And now we have our current mess!

Conclusion: Legalism and political agendas weaken the Church's influence.

We need to confine ourselves to the task the Lord commissioned us to perform: Making Disciples.

I'm not looking to be disagreeable however, The issues are today very well-known.

I would say carnality and abandonment from the word of God what has weaken the church. Legalism and politics filled the gap when God said “Ichabod “The Spirit of the lord has departed. I do find your point very good in ref to 1899 and 1920 which was the introduction of “Progressivism” Woodrow Wilson was a big supporter of it. The issue is further than that. In addition, laid out in the word of God. The Root cause of it.
“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
“For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,”
“Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

And who's fault is that? Not the governments and you must be talking about the RCC. Because where I live there might be 5% of leadrship in the Churches around my home that are white and that is a high number. I actually go outside of where I live to attend Church, because I do not like going to Churches that are all one ethnic group, I like to go to what I guess you would call a mixed Church.

that was opinionated and founded in fact Johnny_B. I do not know where jovanovic got this idea.

If we did not view things somewhat differently Forums would be very boring. I still believe that when the Church involves herself in making laws instead of making disciples, the Church is weakened and loses influence.

This was written to Israel, at a time when it had fallen away from serving God. See if you think it sounds like today!

1. Hear the word of the Lord, O children of Israel, for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land.
There is no faithfulness or steadfast love,
and no knowledge of God in the land;
2 there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery;
they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
3 Therefore the land mourns,
and all who dwell in it languish,
and also the beasts of the field
and the birds of the heavens,
and even the fish of the sea are taken away.

4 Yet let no one contend,
and let none accuse,
for with you is my contention, O priest.
5 You shall stumble by day;
the prophet also shall stumble with you by night;
and I will destroy your mother.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;
because you have rejected knowledge,
I reject you from being a priest to me.
And since you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.

7 The more they increased,
the more they sinned against me;
I will change their glory into shame.
8 They feed on the sin of my people;
they are greedy for their iniquity.
9 And it shall be like people, like priest;
I will punish them for their ways
and repay them for their deeds.
10 They shall eat, but not be satisfied;
they shall play the whore, but not multiply,
because they have forsaken the Lord
to cherish 11 whoredom, wine, and new wine,
which take away the understanding." Hosea 4:1-11

There's more where that came from. I think if people cultivated the habit of reading the Bible for themselves, every day, the church would be radically different. People would not be so easily led astray by false teachers and prophets. People would understand the reasons for following God and being ethical. Sin would not reign in our land! And it really does start with each one of us, reading the Bible, seeking God and praying, and not perishing for lack of knowledge.

And of course, people actually need to be the church, including going to church, if physically possible. We are the church! And we need to make the changes, from the grass roots level, led by the Holy Spirit, if the church is to be a light and not a joke!

Not sure what part of Cali you live in, but the Church I go to is having a time of growth, we have doubled in the last 3 months. The elders faithfully preach/teach the Word of God. They do not use the Word of God to push their agenda, they teach verse by verse, paragraph by paragraph, chapter by chapter and book by book, keeping God's Word in context by exegeting the Word of God. The sad part is most Churches are guilty of eisegesis when they teach or preach the Word of God. It is hard to eisegesis the Word of God when going through the Bible verse by verse. What I enjoy about teaching that way is an elder cannot twist doctrine without getting caught because they are going through the Word in it's context.
Your best defense against 'eisegesis' is :

Acts 17:11

When the church place the Lord Jesus above self then she can be salt and light in the world.

The church today is too concerned with being accepted. The church is to be a light set upon a hill so all can see and follow Gods truth. We have the church today being drawn away by the lights of self indulgence.

With their lips they serve Me but their hearts are far from Me.

Your comment in and of itself is racist. No professing believer should lament or concern themselves with the color of any believers skin.

Remain steadfast and unmovable.

A couple of points to ponder......

a. The text you start with is compared to two men who RESIST and Oppose the truth........this can be seen en mass not only world wide, but within the ranks of so called Christianity

b. The world is filled with entities that identify as a Church or Churches that are no where near what a church really is

c. We fail to recognize that with 30 to 40 years or so the Lord was threatening to "stir the candlestick" away from numerous churches I.E. remove their authority as a church before his throne.....and several of these "CHURCHES" were going through the motions, had works and in their minds were doing what they though and assumed was right......
