My Whole Being Longs For You,

What a beautiful prayer of solemnity and abandonment
of our own will to grasp His will. If we could only wake
up each morning and dedicate this truth to our lives, we
would live a life of joy and love and sweet reverence to
our Heavenly Father. There is a hymn that says there is
no secret what God can do, what He has done for others
He can do for you. So if we can follow what this Psalm
brings into our heart, we will surely live a good life. With
God's power our strength increases manifold and it is our
life and our breath. Surrendering completely to Him isn't
easy to do because the world wants to pull us down but
it is up to us to overcome those desires and attach all of
our desires to His. Heavenly horizons become clearer
and more in reach to us if we can only be what scripture
calls us to be, how precious our lives could be.

Ian White is one of my favourite singers, he has a brilliant album
where he has put loads of psalms to modern music, it really makes them
memorable. He catches the general theme of each psalm so well and in
such an inspired way.

Its a brilliant way to learn the psalms as well. :)

Here is his version of Psalm 63.
