According to the Bible (KJV) the universe is bounded, meaning it is not endless. Most of Academia (Science) would disagree, but, given enough time, they might get this right too.
The following is scriptural proof of the structure of creation, based chiefly on the account
given in Genesis, Chapter One
BEFORE CREATION (No natural geometry, all spiritual)
1JN1:5
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that
God is Light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Before GOD created, GOD was All, and All was Light, and there was no
darkness.

1Tim6:16 Who (Jesus Christ) only hath immortality, dwelling in the Light
which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor
can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
PS113:4. The Lord is high above all nations, and His Glory above the
heavens.
PS104:2 Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art
clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with Light
as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
REV21:22-23 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and
the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the
sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the Glory of God
did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
STRUCTURE BEGINS
GEN1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Fact: The first things GOD created were a ‘place’ called heaven and a ‘place’ called
earth.
Note: Nothing can be said about either place because nothing was said, except
that they were created. It is understood that the two places are distinct
(separate), but boundary one to another.
GEN1:2 (Dark Matter)
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the
deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Fact: GOD was not in the earth since it was dark, and also because the Spirit
of GOD moved upon the face of the waters, but not in them.
Fact: The earth was a dark body of ’waters’ (not necessarily water) in which there
were no solids (no clumping) other than the waters.

1KG8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and
Heaven of Heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house
that I have builded?
Fact: GOD is larger than creation.
Note: By necessity, because GOD is ‘larger’ than the universe, the earth had
to have a 3-dimensional geometry having length, width and depth, and
it was totally encompassed about by the Heaven; therefore, the earth
was bounded by the Heaven. Quite literally, then, we see an endless
’sea’ of Light containing a single dark ‘spot’ (however large).

GEN1:3-5 (The Big Bang?)
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw
the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And
the evening and the morning were the first day.
GOD commanded the Light to shine in the darkness (the earth), which before
was totally dark.

2COR4:6. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness,
hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge
of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

IS45:7 I form the Light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create
evil: I the Lord do all these things.
Note: Water acts like a prism to light, dividing light into its constituent colors.
As such, if the ‘waters’ of the earth were actually water, then the Light
which emanated from the waters into the Heaven (God saw the Light
that shown in the darkness, which was the earth) might appear as a
rainbow of color. Is this not the division of Light? As it is written, ’So
shall MY word be that goeth forth out of MY mouth: it shall not return
unto ME void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. IS55:11

JESUS AS CREATOR
Jn1:1-2, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing
made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of
men. And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness compre-
hended it not. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the
Father,) full of grace and truth.

Col1:15-17. Who (THE SON) is the image of the invisible God, the first-
born of every creature: For by HIM were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or
powers: all things were created by HIM, and for HIM: And
HE is before all things, and by HIM all things consist.
Note: It should be noted that the first creative act of GOD was not one HE
said was to be done, as is the rest of GOD’s creative work; rather, it
was one HE just performed. And because it is true that one must first
have a mouth on order to speak, then it must be true that GOD had
already ‘taken on’ the same image HE would eventually create Adam
after, which was the image of a man, which had a mouth to speak with,
after HE created the heaven and the earth, but not necessarily before .
And it seems reasonable that the LORD should want a ‘form’ (image)
in which HE could interact (see, touch, taste, feel, hear, and consider)
in the Heaven HE created. The point is that until GOD created the
Heaven and the earth HE had no place to speak; and, until GOD took
on HIS IMAGE, that of a man, HE had no mouth to speak with.

Fact: There can be no doubt that Jesus Christ is the creator, because HE was,
even before HE took on flesh and blood.

THE VOID OF THE UNIVERSE: SPACE
Gen 1:6-8 (Inflationary Period ?)
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide
the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters
which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament:
and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the
morning were the second day.
God created a region (firmament) called Heaven² (the 2nd Heaven) in which
there was nothing, not even the ‘waters’ of the earth, by separating the
waters of the earth into two distinct volumes (bodies) with this region
between them. Geometrically speaking, the waters under the Heaven² were a
mini version of the original earth, being just a volume of waters: the Heaven²
was a void between this mini-earth and the waters above the Heaven² , and it
totally encompassed the mini-earth: and the waters above the Heaven² were as
a ‘shell’ which totally encompasses the Heaven² . Of course, beyond the waters
above the Heaven² is the First Heaven; therefore, the waters above the
Heaven² are the boundary of the universe, and the Heaven² is the vastness of
space.
CELESTIAL BODIES

Gen 1:14-18 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to
divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for
seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the
firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and
the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set
them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And
to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from
the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Note: This scripture proves that the Heaven² is the vastness of space because all
the celestial bodies GOD created (i.e. stars, planets, nebulas, etc.) were
placed there; therefore, the waters above the Heaven² are the boundary
of the universe, which means the universe is bounded.

SOLID MATTER BEGINS: THE PLANET EARTH
Gen 1:9-10
And God said, Let the waters under the Heaven be gathered together unto one place,
and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and
the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
By definition, gravity is the property of matter to ‘attract’ matter; therefore,
When GOD said to let the waters under the firmament (Heaven² ) to gather
unto a single place, HE authored the force of gravity, which cause the waters
under the Heaven² , which was the mini-earth, to compress and start ‘clumping’
(form solid matter), the end of which is the planet called earth.

Summary:
The structure of creation after it was finished was this: first, the waters under the Heaven² were acted upon by gravity to form the planet earth (2nd earth). Second, the
Heaven² is the vastness of space surrounding the earth and in it is all the celestial bodies.
Third, the waters above the Heaven² are the boundary of the universe, and above this is
the first Heaven (the Heaven of Heavens).
According to scripture (2Cor12:2-4) there are three (3) Heavens; therefore, the third Heaven must be the Garden of Eden GOD planted and gave to Adam until Adam sinned.
This is Paradise and it is an eternal place (Rev2:7), not a natural one.

But none of this is going to help you if you don't KNOW what happened in the Garden; As this is where The Parable of The Fig Tree BEGINS!

I believe the Universe is not bounded. Just as God is not bounded. There are many galaxies. There are many theory to support this.

The only Biblical position is that the universe is finite

physics supports this
God preexisted the universe and exists independantly of it

To be finite is to bounded. God is not bounded, but the universe is
bounded. This is just a fact one can determined by scripture, but
science does not accept the Bible. More and more though, as science
advance its knowledge, it is interesting to see that it comes closer and
closer to the truth. This does seem right, because man is most
intelligent. But the science of man is yet flawed and not to be
contended with, since it is flawed (1Tim6:20).

As far as the Garden of Eden is concerned, i know exactly what
happen, and why. But I don't understand what you mean by the
parable of the fig tree, unless you are referencing the one spoke by Jesus (Mt24:32): and even so, i still don't get it. I don't know of any
reference to a fig tree in Eden; so please enlighten me.

Greatkaw, the facts are spelled out and assembled in the order given. It is quite simple, but maybe you have not considered it much, or maybe you do not have a mind for reasonable science. You have agreed that the universe is bounded because you said it is finite; so, what? have i come to the right
conclusion for all the wrong reasons, or where do you see misinterpretation? I admit i could be wrong about things (not about this though); but, until
i see a better interpretation, i cannot change my mind. This is trivial stuff we are talking about, but i find it interesting.

Dude, I have studied physics and the Word for longer than you have.

You have mixed a lot of concepts together in the wrong way
