(Leviticus 4:1–4) By laying his hand on the sin offering, his sins are transferred to the innocent animal. The animal dies for his sins and he goes free.

In contrast, during the burnt offering, when the Israelite lays his hand on the animal (Leviticus 1:3–4), the beauty, worthiness and acceptance of the unblemished animal are transferred to him. God accepts the perfection of the animal sacrifice on his behalf to make atonement for him. Because God accepts the unblemished burnt offering, the offerer now has right standing before God.

Do you know that the two offerings speak of Jesus’ one offering of Himself when He hung on the cross? He is both our sin offering and burnt offering—“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us [as our sin offering], that we might become the righteousness of God in Him [as our burnt offering]”. The moment you put your faith in Him, just by His one sacrifice, your sins were transferred to Him, and His righteousness was transferred to you. That is the grace of God toward you!

As our sin offering, He offered Himself once and for all. (Romans 6:10) The sin offering was never a daily offering because God does not want His people to be sin-conscious. However, the burnt offering was both a morning and evening sacrifice (2 Chronicles 13:11) because God wants His people to be righteousness-conscious.

Beloved, God wants you to lay claim daily to Jesus as your burnt offering and say, “Father, I thank You that Jesus is my burnt offering. All that Jesus is before You—His righteousness, excellence, beauty and perfection—has been transferred to me. Jesus has Your unclouded favor, so I enjoy Your unclouded favor in my life. Jesus is the righteousness of God, so I am the righteousness of God in Christ. As He is before You, so am I.”

Christians should simply abandon their Bibles and meet GURU JOSEPH PRINCE at the mountain top. He will help you escape from reality and attain Nirvana.

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
Mark 7:27
This was a strong statement that Jesus made to a woman that came to ask Him to heal her daughter. Jesus was telling her that she had no right to ask for healing, since she wasn’t Jewish. Wisely and remarkably, this woman humbled herself and pleaded for mercy instead of trying to demand her rights. She didn’t have any rights. And when Jesus had mercy on her, she returned home to find her daughter healed. It’s that simple. She received based on Jesus, not on what she deserved.

Many of you may wonder, If God heals today, then where is it? How do I get it manifest? You believe it works, but you don’t know how. Maybe you’ve seen someone stand and not get healed. Or maybe you have stood for your own healing and have not seen it manifest. Whichever it is, your faith has been shaken as a result. Well, I want you to know that God wants you well. And I want to share with you how it works.

One of the things you have to be convinced of before you even approach this is that healing is in Christ’s atonement. Look at what it says here in 1 Peter, talking about Jesus:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1 Peter 2:24

Notice how it says Jesus took stripes for your healing! It’s yours! It’s one of the things Jesus bought for you through His sacrifice! And this verse says, “Ye were healed” (emphasis mine)—past tense. This is such a clear statement that I wonder how any Christian could not believe that.

But I’ve learned that many people don’t let the Bible get in the way of their theology.

Even some who believe God can heal don’t believe He will or has already healed. They say things like, “Well, God heals but not all the time. Sometimes it’s not His will.” But it’s hard to argue with a past-tense statement like that of 1 Peter 2:24.
It’s taken from a prophecy Isaiah gave in Isaiah 53, which says,
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
Some people try to make this mean Jesus only took stripes for our spiritual healing. Well, he did suffer for our spiritual health, but let’s look at how the prophecy was fulfilled, in Matthew 8:

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: [17] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias
[Isaiah] the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 8:16-17, brackets mine
This makes it clear that Jesus suffered for your healing! It belongs to you.
Healing is the children’s bread. It’s your portion. It’s what God has given to you. If you’re a Christian, healing belongs to you! If you just meditate on the implications of this for a while, it’d go a long way in seeing healing manifest. You’d just realize, I don’t have to be sick. That’s exactly right.

Many people believe that God wants them well, but they don’t understand how it works. I’ve got a lot of revelation on this. I don’t know it all. I haven’t arrived, but I’ve left and I’ve seen awesome miracles, including my own son being raised up after over four hours of death. I’ve devoted all of March’s television programs, and even some of April’s, to sharing these truths. We’ve also put together a lot of my teaching that will specifically share with you how you can receive the healing Jesus has already provided for you.

What I want to do with the rest of the space of this letter is share with you some of the healing testimonies through this ministry of how it’s worked in people’s lives. These are regular people just like you and me. Don’t think that they are better than you or more spiritual—that is not what this is about. This is about what Jesus paid for and not about your performance. This isn’t just hearsay. You can see and hear these testimonies and eighteen others online, at

www.awmi.net/extra/healing.

From the time Hannah Terradez was born, she had a rare autoimmune disease called eosinophilic enteropathy, which meant her body built up allergies to nearly every kind of food. Her immune system would attack food she’d eat and then reject it. There was no known cure, only a radical survival method: a feeding tube. And at the age of three years old, she was still wearing nine-month-old baby clothes!

But one day, her parents, Ashley and Carlie, got hold of one of my old tapes and heard me say, “By His stripes, we were healed.” After the tape finished, they’d heard the nearly-too-good-to-be-true news. Hope began to arise in their hearts. Carlie said, “We’d never heard Scripture revealed so clearly and simply. The Word took root in our hearts and became more real to us than what the doctors were saying.” Then Carlie realized that Hannah had spoken like this every night for their bedtime prayer, saying, “Dear Jesus, thank You for loving me and for healing me.” They just realized that in her childlike faith, she had been praying a profound truth all along. It was a done deal!

The next day, they found where I was holding meetings and brought Hannah to have me pray for her. I told them it was a piece of cake for God to heal her and all they needed to do was agree with me in prayer. I took authority over Satan, telling him to leave, and commanded Hannah’s body to stop attacking food and to be well. Then I told Ashley and Carlie they needed to walk out what they believed.

They would have eased her into a normal diet, but once again, Hannah was ahead of them, saying, “I want to go to McDonald’s!” And that settled it for Ashley and Carlie. They couldn’t find a McDonald’s, so they took her to Kentucky Fried Chicken, where she ate chicken nuggets, ice cream, yogurt, cheese, chocolate, and fruit juice for the first time in her life! She’s been eating normally ever since! Praise the Lord!

How did this happen? They got hold of the truth that by Jesus’ stripes, Hannah was healed, and then with childlike faith—BOOM—her healing manifested! And it wasn’t just because I prayed for them. They had to stand on this for themselves when the symptoms tried to come back.

Let me share with you one more testimony. This one’s about Mike Hoesch. Back in 2000, he had an itch on his chest that persisted, and when he examined the area, and he noticed a pimple-sized sore. He dismissed it, but the itch remained.
Months passed and the sore hadn’t gone away; it began to worsen. Although he believed in healing, he’d been involved with a ministry for twenty years that focused on performance-based doctrine. So, while he knew healing was available, he believed it was conditional upon his efforts. He continued to suffer, as the sore began to grow.

After trying herbal remedies, to no avail, he went to see a doctor, thinking it was no problem. But when he learned it was a malignant neoplasm, a cancerous skin tumor, he panicked! But not wanting to do anything driven by fear, Mike cancelled his appointment with the surgeon.

Over the next several years, the growth became a very large and troublesome tumor requiring cleaning and bandaging several times a day. The tumor slowly drained the life out of him, and in his weakened condition, he was forced to quit his job.
Mike purposed in his heart that he would seek the Lord and spend time in His Word. While his intentions were good, he struggled as he began to see things in the Word contrary to what he had been taught over the previous twenty years.

Still confused, he began confessing healing Scriptures, not out of understanding, but out of a desire to earn his healing.
One day, as he was wrestling with faith and his beliefs, a friend brought him my teaching You’ve Already Got It!. As he began listening, the Lord confirmed things He had been showing Mike in the Word. He started rejoicing: “It just blessed me so much when I heard Andrew sharing these things. It was like, yes, yes, I’ve already got it! I was waiting for the Lord to intervene again on my behalf, but he had already done that in Christ. Everything that I had, every sickness, disease, or sin that I’ll ever commit or had committed—Christ bore!” With his faith strengthened, Mike completely let go of his tumor, switching his focus to Jesus, to receive what He had provided.

A month after this, his wife noticed the tumor had decreased in size. At one time, this would’ve sent Mike through the roof rejoicing, but because of his newfound steadfastness in the Word, his reaction was one of calm expectancy. He had come to realize the cancer had to leave because of what Jesus had already done for him, and about five months later, his chest was clear.

These are just two examples of how it works! You may have a different situation, but these same truths will work for you too. Remember, healing is your bread—it belongs to you. Once you have that settled, your childlike faith will be rekindled that God has already done it. Then you need to take your authority over the devil and walk out what you believe.

Im fortunate enough to actually see this though it's online mostly.

Though Joanies post is truth, the truth has to be worked out in our life.

I started in desperation. I knew I had not yet fulfilled my destiny, so I fought...with faith in His Word and praying in the Spirit.

Does God begin this supernatural walk with Him first in our mouth and words?

Wolfwin., You ask why the church hasn't seen things until recently - like tongues until the 1905 outpouring or why healing wasn't preached..etc. I also think you are mis-informed about the true history in these subjects because many have experienced the truth of the Gospel who have not written books about it.

But about your question., one could ask a similar question to why salvation/justification by faith alone in Christ wasn't preached in the church at the time when Luther said "The just shall live by faith". There was 1,300 years of church beliefs that he went against with his statement. The catholic church used the same "logic" against what Luther was saying as cessationists say about the gifts of the Spirit for today.

So we mere humans don't know it all and need to go to the Bible daily and not depend on what people have said or are saying. We need the Holy Spirit to show us the truth not people who are trapped in old religious teaching without the benefit of the Holy Spirit revealing the Scriptures.
Well, I meant not 1905, but 1995. Of course in the churchhistorie many false teachings were found in the church. When I became a christian i knew nothing about denominations. I went first to an Herrenhuthrr church, foundet from Zinzendorf. Then was invitet from a friend to an mennonite bretheren church. Went then to an interdenomination bible college. Before that I came in touch also with pentecostal believers. But frombeginning their teaching was strange for me. I know I have the Holy Spirit. I seeme as an christian ( in heaven we dont have denominations). I trust the word of God. Till today I cant follow the teachings of pentecost ore charismatics doctrine. Why? I cant find it in the bible. This teaching is for me like teachings of the JW. You have to put the words and meanings out of context. For to get their doctrine. And the Spirit in me says their doctrine is wrong. Tell me why? I dont like it to say you are wrong. But I have no choise. I believe everything what God has promissed.
Its your thing to post all this healing Preacher stuff.
As Lynn said why ? If it provokes. Why you cant share pure scripture which encourages and is benefit to all?
If you ask, why I am still posting in this thread. I see at as wrong to be quiet if somebody post something what is not correct and leads others in a wrong direction.

If I never heard about healing I would not have known it was available. Our church never taught about healing and so I was surrounded by Christians who didn't believe or encourage me to believe for fear we would be disappointed for having put our faith in Jesus healing promises and not see Him do it. Now I read the Bible without letting my own theology from 1982-2012 get in the way.

Today I don't even go to the "what if" places I often visited every day of my Christian life up till about 5 years ago. Now I know to have a good expectation that Jesus paid for my healing in all areas. By His stripes we are healed. And I've seen Him work miracles in not only my life but in the lives of many others who believed because He is a good God and true to His promises in Christ. It's because of Jesus we have these great and precious promises. Not by anything that we have done but by everything that Jesus did for us.

It's very interesting to me that you followed Zinzindorf. Moravian Falls in North Carolina has many well known ministries living in the area. And angels have been seen at the falls and in the woods.

Would love to visit someday. My favorite author lives there.

I have to go...back later.

NO. This is truth mixed with error.

And when a quote is presented without attribution to the original source, it adds to the error and represents plagiarism.

Now here is what is stated in Leviticus 1:4:

And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

And here is what Joseph Prince has done with his eisegeis and put an entirely different spin on it:

In contrast, during the burnt offering, when the Israelite lays his hand on the animal (Leviticus 1:3–4), the beauty, worthiness and acceptance of the unblemished animal are transferred to him. God accepts the perfection of the animal sacrifice on his behalf to make atonement for him. Because God accepts the unblemished burnt offering, the offerer now has right standing before God.
And here is what "atonement" (Hebrew kaphar) means:

Strong's Concordance
kaphar: to cover over, pacify, make propitiation
Transliteration: kaphar
Short Definition: atonement

This is further clarified below:
appease (1), appease* (1), atone (3), atoned (2), atonement is made (1), atonement shall be made (1), atonement was made (1), atoning (1), canceled (1), expiation can be made (1), forgave (1), forgive (4), forgiven (5), made atonement (3), make atonement (71), makes atonement (2), making atonement (1), pardon (1).

So do you see how JP has misrepresent the burnt offering and the atonement?

Yet you proclaim "This is the truth", which makes you and JM complicit in the misrepresentation of God's truth. Not just here but every time Joseph Prince's false teachings are posted in blatant disregard for what Christians have been saying.

If my testimony causes you to be upset Wolfnet I can't help that. Your words bother and annoy me but I have a right to not read them just as you have a right to not read mine. You have a right to your opinions and your ability to start your own thread is not hindered. I don't live my Christian life or post here on cc to get people annoyed. Not to be too blunt, but cardiovascular disease is a result of dietary consumption and lifestyle choices. It isn't about you needing more faith, but taking practical steps towards a healthier life style. Instead of doing heart surgery, you might want to look into less invasive methods such as dietary changes. Look up Dr Caldwell Esselstyn or Dr Dean Ornish.

I don't know the specifics of your situation, but research it. :)
actually I have aortic stinosis when I was born and this time it was due to a valve that was to small that they put in last time. And the time before that it was due to an infection in my mouth. None of the times was it due to diet

Ben,

I do enjoy reading your posts but I have to say that the above one I do not enjoy.

Whilst you have a point it is limited.

There is such a thing as congenital heart disease.
Along with other genetic diseases.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

This verse clearly teaches that some things are of God, and some things are of the devil. Notice it doesn’t present a third category: from God through the devil. No! Sickness has nothing to do with God! Submit to the things of God, and resist the things of the devil. It’s that simple. To believe that God allows or approves of Satan’s actions defies the logic of James 4:7. It eliminates our responsibility to resist and places ultimate responsibility for everything back on God.

The widely-accepted doctrine that God controls everything is a deception. If Satan can confuse and deceive you on that issue, he’s got you! Why? Because you’ll stop resisting. No one wants to resist God’s will, and if you think that God is behind your sickness, you’ll submit to it. That violates the instruction of James 4:7, it won’t get you healed, and it lets Satan have his way in your life.

You must believe God always wants you healed. It’s so simple, it takes help to misunderstand. But sadly, most Christians receive plenty of help from religion in misunderstanding this. Look at it this way: If God wanted you sick, for whatever reason, then why visit the doctor or take medication? It would seem more logical to allow the sickness to run its course so God’s purpose could be accomplished. Of course I think that’s foolish, and hopefully, so do you.

What’s the bottom line on God’s will for our healing? His Word reveals that to us in 3 John 2, which says,
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
John was writing a letter to believers under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He revealed that the Lord wants us healthy just as much as He wants us to prosper emotionally and mentally.

When Peter preached the Gospel to Cornelius in Acts 10:38, he summarized the ministry of Jesus by saying,
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Today some preachers are saying that healing is of the devil, but that’s not the message Peter gave. Notice what Peter said under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Not only was Jesus doing good when He healed people, but He healed all that were oppressed of the devil, not of God. That scripture clearly proves that sickness is not from God.

Isaiah 53 should end all debate. It was written prophetically about Jesus, the Messiah. Isaiah 53:4-5 says,
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

These verses reveal that physical healing is a part of the atonement of Christ. The Lord redeemed us from sickness just as much as He redeemed us from sin. He would no more want us to be sick than He would want us to sin. Those are radical statements to many Christians because we’ve been taught that forgiveness of sins is what salvation is all about. Well that’s certainly a vital part of salvation, but that’s not all that Jesus accomplished. We were also healed by His stripes. Sickness is not of God just as sin is not of God. Thank You, Jesus!

Just in case anyone might be thinking that the healing spoken of in Isaiah 53:4-5 is not physical but only emotional, the Bible gives a commentary on Isaiah’s prophecy. In Matthew 8:16 Jesus healed all the sick people brought to Him, and verse 17 says this was done…

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”

Therefore, Scripture comments on itself and makes it very clear that the healing spoken of by Isaiah is referring to physical infirmities and sicknesses. If Jesus bore our sicknesses, then we don’t have to.

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Clearly Andrew Wommack is a preacher who believes as I do about healing in the atonement. There are many Christians who don't and many who do. Each one of us has to read these verses for ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit to show us the truth if there is healing in the atonement or not.

There is evidence on both sides of the spectrum. But I've come to see there IS healing in all areas of life. It takes learning about these truths because once we get saved we don't have all Bible knowledge. We are told over and over to study the Word of God and to submit to the Holy Spirit in our new creation (born again spirit)

If you don't agree with healing in the atonement start another thread. Agree to disagree.

I am not upset : -) If you not would post false trues, I would not respond you in this way. Our expieriences are not the measure what is true and what not. It Gods word alone.

And I agree., our personal experiences are not what makes something true or not. We have to look away from ourselves and look to Jesus.

And why it is so important to learn to walk in our new creation in Christ (our born again spirit) because our flesh with it's experiences was our way of life. It was how we learned to respond to life and God. But until Jesus saved us and we were born again we didn't have the capacity to see or know spiritual things because we were spiritually dead in our sins. We couldn't respond to the Holy Spirit's leading.

Today In Christ we are alive to God. Now we are called to walk IN Him. Not in our old manner of living but in the new man. Daily we need to be renewed in the spirit of our minds as we study the Bible and submit to the Spirit. The inward man is renewed DAY BY DAY. If we are not willingly aware of this need and participating in this renewal process we will be subject to the dictates of the flesh (that old manner of life)

We are co laborers with Him in this walk. We work "out" what Christ has worked "in" us. And we do it by faith not by sight.

Ben,

I do enjoy reading your posts but I have to say that the above one I do not enjoy.

Whilst you have a point it is limited.

There is such a thing as congenital heart disease.
Along with other genetic diseases.

Being blunt but I do not agree with your post.

I don't believe Ben was making a sweeping remark to you personally since he did say he didn't know your personal situation. Much gets lost and or mis read here on these threads all the time.

I agree that often times we make a mess of our lives but I've also found God comes to my rescue in ESPECIALLY those cases as well when I depend on Him. That is what the very definition of his unmerited unearned love and grace is all about. Healing doesn't go to the "deserving" it goes to those who go by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus.

And it's a step by step journey. Some are healed some 10 fold some 15 fold and on it goes as we progress. Some are healed completely right away. Some a step at a time.

None of us deserves anything from God but because of Jesus we have access to all things in Christ by faith. We would not have access to anything on our own., it's because of Jesus we have these great and precious promises.

Ben was not replying to something I posted.

I was responding to something Ben posted in response to someone else.

I do agree though that a lot does get lost or misread on these threads and of the threads.

Which is why we have to be very careful with our responses.

However I do disagree with your thoughts that we do not deserve anything from God (and I will probably be slapped by some for that)

If we do not deserve anything then Jesus would not have died for us.
The plan of redemption set in place the minute Adam & Eve sinned.

Walking around thinking I'm not worthy only leads to one thing.
Making ourselves worthy of acceptance.

Truth is we are significant, accepted and secure.

If not then God could have wiped us out, just like he did with the flood.

No one can heal another. I tried to make that point long ago. It's the Lord flowing through us to touch the one in need. Also, being in the spirit is not really understood. It's not a belief, but an experience with Holy Spirit.

So in any ministry whether it's emphasis is on healing or deliverance, one "acts" in union with Holy Spirit. Not on ones own.

Jesus told us how ministry should be. We will either accept or discard His Words.

Mar 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

This has been lost...but has returned.

Read the verses preceding this one. Will you accept?

Ive had to relearn so many things taught out of fear. The thing is though...experience is the best teacher. Yet, we will have those rise against speaking these things, andvfor what purpose?

Believe what hat has been written, and ask for what is rightfully given in inheritance to us. Faith will open doors.
This is why I still love you and have a real heart for you. I think you jumped out of the frying pan into the fire though.

You were in a cult and got out. WoF is another cult.
