Life doesn't define the person and will of God the Father... Jesus the Son does. Excellent video not only about healing but about all other things we need to know about God. It is about seeing Jesus.

If God healed 100% of the time that would be amazing but in reality it doesn't work that way. I believe in the power of prayer, I don't think i even have to physically touch anyone for God to do healing because in my eyes it only takes a single heart felt prayer to make the impossible possible. I don't believe this because this is what I have been told or taught I believe this because of how much I believe in him, because even if I myself am weak and powerless he is not.

However where was this healing when Stephanie's dad was in absolute hell physically emotionally and spiritually? He became so bad he was even contemplating suicide he began to doubt he was even a Christian and his health at an all time low and I was in the shower drenched in tears pouring my every fiber into a single prayer begging God to heal her dad, even going so far as to offer my own body to take up his illness and yet no healing occurred. When you are in that state where you go into that secret closet with God and you pour everything into that prayer every bit of your being believing so much in him and him alone that only he could do what we cannot and that all it takes is a single heartfelt prayer and yet even then no healing is to occur and then people go saying how he always heals and how we are listening to lies and not him how we are looking at life's circumstance not Jesus without even knowing what some of us have gone through even with all the faith and belief in him and in our tears and the soul cutting agony that comes with this and yet even in that giving it your all in that one single prayer because you believe regardless of how the situation appears.

I know such people may mean well but do they realize how much it hurts people who gave their all in such things? It's easy to say how he heals 100% until you actually need that healing and are in such pain inside feeling so useless and powerless and no matter how much you believe in him, no matter how much faith you have to offer and no matter how much you pour your entire heart and soul- pouring every tear you shed every bit of pain and agony inside into that prayer offering it to him begging him to heal this person even offering to take the illness upon yourself if that is what takes and yet nothing happens. Even though thaat time is gone by I still remember the pain and the healing that never came not because I didn't have enough faith or because I was listening to lying voices or looking at life's circumstances and not Jesus himself but because it simply was not his will and to say these things that this man is saying to people like me who have gone through such a thing could never understand how arrogant they sound

What is with the plethora of healing threads popping up lately?

Anyhoo, God does NOT heal EVERYONE... Sad but true.

I have found this to be true also. God does not heal everyone. If He did then threads like this would not exist.

What is with all the links to videos? I for one, never click on these links.
Time would be better used studying the Word.

[video=youtube;PHttKQRC6ak]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHttKQRC6ak&t=429s[/video]

What I appreciated most about this message is God is not defined by our limited human experiences but He is defined and seen today by His Son Jesus. That is the message for all things pertaining to God the Father. Look to Jesus. The reason this and other threads keep coming up is because sickness is a part of being human. We each experience the weakness of our flesh and God's word tells us how to master it as we live our lives daily here on planet earth in these earth suits.

For all the rotten and good experiences in life., they cannot and should never go before the truth of Jesus. If you listen to the video that message is clear. If you believe in healing for all or not., the message is clear. All answers are found in Jesus. Answers for eternal life as well as daily living are found in Jesus.

2 Peter 1:3 [SUP]3 [/SUP]For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [[SUP][a][/SUP]full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

Do we dare to come out from our own limited understanding and enter into His unending truth for our lives? That's the question each person must ask for themselves and no one can ask it for us. Those of you who already posted your beliefs on the subject of the OP you are entitled to your own beliefs and opinions.

God does heal! Sometimes, (rarely), he even heals physically. BUT that is not what is meant by "By his stripes we are healed."

He did heal you. He did heal me. He did heal Steph's dad. Remember how unwhole/partial/dead you were before the Lord drew you in and gave you rebirth? Remember the joy of having sins forgiven? Remember how the old-world stripped away and you can see HIS world? THAT healing! That IS healing. It is a process, just like you went through the process of treatment for your cancer. It doesn't happen over night, and yet, it very much happens!

God has changed us to new creatures, he is changing us into new creatures, and when we died it will be downright metamorphic. No longer caterpillars stuck into these hobbly, not-working right, withering bodies! No loger able to sin, wanting to sin, or even accidentally sinning. No longer self-centered, stubborn, willful, hissy-fitful, stiffed-necked people. He IS healing us. We will be what we were created to be always -- beings utterly devoted to what we were made to be utterly devoted to -- The Lord! In all his wonderment, majesty, sovereignness, graciousness, mercifulness, loving glory! We will butterfly up to who God is healing us to become. We will! And we will because he deserves it, and loves us enough to give that to him.

Never, EVER, let this cow manure become the false gospel that Joan is still worshipping.

Instead, trust the Lord to complete the work in you... in Stephanie, even in her father! It truly the gospel God will give us. It is worth it, because HE is worth it. He is everything he ever claimed to be even beyond what we can imagine. Trust his completing, not Joan's version of continued incompleteness for selfish reasons.

Physical healing IS the context of Isaiah 53:4,5 according to Matthew 8:16,17. What Dan Mohler is talking about is God's will and nature revealed through His Son. Whether we receive healing or not, God is always about abundant life, healing, wholeness, deliverance, safety ... etc. He has provided healing for us through the atonement, and it's up to us to receive it by faith. Just saying "God doesn't always heal" misses the entire point. It's like saying "God doesn't save everybody".

Christians who are walking in the flesh can't help but try to insult and demean other Christians about whether God is a good Father that wants to heal His children. Jesus said that healing is the children's bread." I believe that because the Bible says it. Not because I've always experienced it in my 59yrs on earth.

Healing is a "non-essential" doctrine and yet some would rip apart others in the body of Christ and slander them non-stop that have a different view than what they or their group does on it.

How would tares behave towards others in the body of Christ? Or they could be wheat too but are just baby Christians just like 1 Peter 2:1-2 says. Our behavior determines our true spiritual age - not how many times we read the bible, not how long we have been a Christian, not if we pray in tongues for 10 hours a day, not if we pastor a church for 50 years, not if we can read the Bible in Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Chinese, Russian or any other language or all of them at once.

These are all good things but not indicative of spiritual age in Christ. Behavior towards others is the standard that Peter and Paul talked about for determining spiritual age in Christ.

If you don't agree with people you come in contact with in the Christian community.. is throwing up your insults and anger on them the best way to go? No., I don't believe we Christians even have that option. Yet in the flesh., some Christians can and will take that option until they learn better.

Another video that asks the question why healing doesn't work sometimes. A question many of us have asked and really want to know.

Yes there are many kinds of healing, I just can't stand it when people speak of him always healing and then acting as if it's somehow the persons fault it didn't occur. I was looking at Jesus and I didn't hear any whispers of lies that God wouldn't heal in fact at that moment the only thing I knew was that I believed regardless of how impossible it may have seemed at that time. I don't know if it's the wof or the prosperity gospel but this man struck a nerve in me because God does not always heal and sometimes even though it doesn't seem that way at first glance it's for the better but then he goes and acts as if it's the believers fault that healing didn't occur and that is what really struck the nerve right there.

It's not even my own experience alone that makes me so upset about this guy it's also every other person who ave ever given their all in their prayers for healing and didn't receive it, if you want to make a person feel like their faith is too weak or that they somehow made it where healing couldn't happen this is perhaps the best way to do it. I know all to well how it feels to not feel as if you measure up but I will not stand by and let others feel like that because of this God always heals thing

And what of those who don't agree with you Blain? or depleted or the many on cc about this matter of healing. Is it our right to not stand for yours and their beliefs and opinions too? Is it a "right" that "I" usurp my beliefs over you because I see the Scriptures to say something very different? Because I've experienced major shocks and sadness and griefs? Or major healing and other breakthroughs in my life that I know to be true? No, of course not. Forcing people is not what we are called to.

These matters are very personal and yes., they are touchy ones but it also calls us to learn more about how to be like Jesus in what we DO believe in TODAY. I'm called to stand by and let others feel what they will because that is where they are now. It is not up to me to force anyone to believe MY way. I can share what I know but I cannot force what I know. No more than you or anyone here.

If people are arrogant for disagreeing with you and others here than you need to get used to it. Even if the others here still have not learned to get used to different Christians living on this planet with them it's still a fact of life. That is part of growing up. Not all Christians will believe the same as you or me. What does that do to us? It should cause us to grow up more and more to be like Jesus on the path of faith He has put each one of us on individually.

I won't accuse you or others here of being arrogant nor am I threatened nor does it hurt me that you believe differently. I'm called to have faith in Jesus and what the Bible says regardless of what others may say. Regardless of the anger and misunderstanding that people have because of it. I know it will come just by me being who God called me to be. I'm up for it because Jesus called me to it. Just as He calls each one of us to it.

I'd say this is a good place to learn how to co exist with other brothers and sisters in the family of Jesus Blain. Some of the other brothers and sisters here have not done that yet and they are much older than you. It's up to you how you will deal with fellow Christians. I hope you will follow what the Bible says on these matters of faith.

Gal.5:13-26
[SUP]13 [/SUP]For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for [SUP][d][/SUP]selfishness], but through love you should serve one another.
[SUP]
14 [/SUP]For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is [SUP][e][/SUP]complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.
[SUP]
15 [/SUP]But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another.

17 [/SUP]For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do.
[SUP]
18 [/SUP]But if you are guided (led) by the [Holy] Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.

The problem is your asking for some tolerance concerning your beliefs while your posts and YouTube links call those that aren’t healed or that can’t heal of having little or a second class faith .
That is troubling.

Precisely I am not in any way trying to badger her beliefs but it is important to see from the other side of the coin, I have actually more than once seen new believers faith destroyed because of this

No I have not called anyone a 2nd class Christian. It's your choice to believe or not to believe just as it is mine. (on any Bible subject)

But to call me or other people out as saying something they never said and then expecting them to defend the accusation is ridiculous. It's done all the time here. I'm saying as are those who teach about this and other topics ... it's about learning to walk in the new creation Christ made us and walking in the Spirit. For us to consider these matters of healing and listen to Christians who also believe in healing and see healing and receive healing all the time.

Just as many share the reasons they and others don't believe I'm sharing the reasons why I and others do believe. Again to clarify; I have not nor have I ever called anyone a 2nd class Christian or "less than" because they don't agree with me. If you listened to the video and have an opinion I'd be glad to enter into a discussion with you or anyone about this.

But don't mis quote me for what I say and believe because I don't not agree with you. Posting here the things I'm personally learning about is why I come to cc. I don't come here to argue. Discussion is always welcome. But defending myself against false accusations is not something I'm interested in at all and I'll avoid those who do it every time. I'll also re post too just to clarify. Even that makes some annoyed. :)
