Elisha

2 Kings 2:22-23
22 So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.
23 Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”

According to the Father's Will, Jesus has made us kings and priests (a royal priesthood) to rule and reign with Him. Jesus is The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords.

Reminds me of how Moses selected elders to help him with governing the Israelites in the wilderness.

That was a great question, Auntie Aunt! Any insight about it you'd like to share with us?! :)

Actually, I was meditating on what Jesus said to Simon Peter & Andrew by the sea. "Come, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." So I was in awe about that cuz the Lord said He would do the transforming. All they had to do was follow Him. To keep their eyes on Him and just follow along.

And then I read 1 Peter 2 where it talks about how babes in Christ grow up spiritually. How the Lord Himself is building us up into His spiritual church, a royal priesthood, each one of us precious gems, chosen by God, a church of lively stones.

Then it goes on in 1 Peter 2 that we are set free to be like Christ, we are free to follow Him, as opposed to being in bondage to our flesh trying to change ourselves. That's awesome! Isn't it?

And in Revelation 1:6 it reads that to Jesus who loves us and washed us from our sins with His precious blood, we have been made kings and priests by the Lord, He created each of us, chose each of us to show the world His glory and power forever and ever!

Isn't that amazing? :D

Wonderful insight, AuntieAnt!

It's AMAZING LOVE that the Father would have His Son Jesus do all of that for us! And we only know it and understand it by the Holy Spirit. We are blessed!
