This is the list of gate keepers this scripture may be not important to us but for them they would have went to this list and if they weren’t on it then they shouldn’t be keeping the gate. The sons of Korah that remained after the rebellion in Numbers is to keep the gates, they had the job to keep the city sealed and safe, they were to keep enemies out. The gate keepers were a line of protection. Where ever we serve it is good we be respected and if we serve with a full heart often times we may be although this might lead others against us. God often will use our skills in serving but He calls the chosen to serve not equip because no us are qualified.

Would you think they were a part of the kingdom of Priest, protecting the way as in Jesus is the door or gate by which all men enter fellowship with God?

Christian are typified as a Kingdom of Priests. Because we are the temple of God we would also have the privilege.

Please up me to understand exactly what you are saying here?
