I have a question for every one.

Would you love God IF; He didn't Heal(I believe in divine healing)? He didn't answer prayer? If He didn't save you?

not only this, i would like to ask that if you were to love God, it would mean taking the lowest poorest state imaginable, taking on the greatest suffering and sickness (like a leper) and not only that but choosing God ment CHOOSING HELL.

Would you still Choose to love Him?

Loving God is nothing more than loving your neighbor and helping those in need.

I have never received divine healing nor seen it no matter how much i pray yet i love him just the same. But then your question gets a bit odd, loving him even if he didn't save us taking up on ourselves the lowest state and whats worse is going to hell for loving him? Love cannot exist in such a scenario

If he does not save, heal or answer you, perhaps you did something wrong and I believe that is His punishment on you OR you are lacking faith that God will save, heal or answer you.

I don't think that was the intention of his op, I believe he was wanting to know how far others would be willing to go for God but the scenario in which he described is not correct

the reason i ask the question is i see how Christ set aside his divinity taking on the form or man, to me that is poverty. then i see Him suffer all ways on earth from rejection to the Cross, to me that is what it is. then He takes on the grave and hell for us. i see that my Lord so loved me He was willing to Go through all of that, and i ask myself what am i willing to go through for Him?

Well aside from what I said that God does not heal, save or answer a man because of his lack of faith or his sinful life.

I believe that God has a right time when you will be healed, answered or saved.

Remember it took 430 years for the children of Israel to be saved from the bondage of Pharaoh.

It took many years for a blind man to be cured by Christ.

I never believe that God will never answer, cure or heal any men unless you lack faith or living a sinful life.

He just have the right time for each man when He wants to do this on him.

I agree with you Brother, but the question is would you still love Him without it? and would you love Him if it actually meant the opposite?

its just a way of thinking of the value of what Christ did.

Regardless if i am healed or not I believe in his healing not because of results i have received but because of what I know of him.
With him I truly believe there are no limitations no matter what we may be lacking because all he needs is a willing heart whatever else we may be lacking in he isn't.
Mainly it's the healing of others i am concerned about, even if i were to never be healed if he would heal others that is all i ask for.

Just make sure you don't put yourself under un necessary burdens, even if one isn't willing to go to the extreme of extremes for the sake of love everyone is at different stages and levels in love and faith.

Seek love above all other things and then everything else will fall into place, the more of his love that is poured into your heart then the more you will find how far you will go for the sake of him and for all others.

No. That would not be right. there are many many great christians whose prayers have not been answered. God does not punish people for praying to him. Same goes for healing.

Right Brother Blain,

His love is so Good, and i love how His word sturs me to think on Him!

sacrifice is real though for sure, like how he moves me to give away much just to see His love shine in a smile, my spirit is overjoyed in it while my flesh hates it lol can see that war every day!

Yes his love is something else that's for sure. His love is not merely a feeling or a an emotion it's the fuel of the believers hope and light it's how we slowly yet surely begin to see with his eyes and think as he thinks it's a believers supernatural steroid the more of his love you have in you the more leaps and bounds you grow in him.

God and I talk constantly and one thing I always say to him is how I adore and admire him and how I strive so much to be just like him not because of what he has done for me or because that is the Christian thing to do but because I looked at him and I was baffled and amazed at who he is. I mean Jesus would have gone through all he did a thousand times over for just one lost child no matter how evil or far gone. That is the love and the strength I saw in him and it is the very same love I seek and will not accept anything less. I want to be so rich in his love that I would be willing to burn in the fires of hell itself for a time for the sake of only one lost child no matter how dark their hearts or how blood stained their souls.

Even if I never have to I want that kind of love, it's an insane kind and an abnormal kind people might think I am nuts even saying this but that is the love I saw in him and thus it will be the one I will have too.

I believe this is God's test on you if you will still have faith in Him, continue loving Him and worship Him.

I myself do not know if God already abandoned me or just testing my faith in Him when I am facing some dilemmas in life. I admit I committed transgressions in life too and I am doing all my can not do repeat it frequently.

but If ever God abandoned me, I will never say that He never existed.

He has not abandoned you and he never will trust me I know. I have been in a state of such utter hopelessness and life just wouldn't let up but even then he never left me I sought after him all the more in these storms and eventually as they all do the storm passed and looking back I don't question why i had to go through them

No. I wouldn't.

I only love God because He loved me first.

I never felt a need or a desire to love God until I knew that fact. Really knew it.

the problem with these types of questions, is that God NEVER puts that question before us

we are told that He will give us strength in the moment and answers when we need them

how can someone say what they would really do unless they had been 'proven' already?

some can say they would do this or that because they already have

I think it would be foolish to speculate on worst case scenarios. I lived enough things in this life to know how I behave in certain situations and frankly, I am not asking for more of the same

it's a day by day life following Christ. He even tells us not to worry about the future and we are not to speculate

So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:34
words of Christ

that's my thoughts on it

brother God never will abandon you He will always be coming to you. ill tell you this though brother, i know how you feel. i have committed many transgressions and have thoroughly let the sin in me become utterly sinful. i have been adicted to porn, and sleeping around, i have been a drunk an a lair beyond any all while trying to live out my faith. i fought hard to do right and always felt like God was far off.

it wasn't till i got it one day that God whispered as i cried out i am doing all i can that He said "stop doing, and let me do for you." i realized there is nothing i can do other than have faith in His work in me. thats when things started to change, i havent drank or smoked in 3 years, and i see my self becoming the man of God i dreamed of. but its by His work in me not what i try to do.

have faith in Who God said He was going to make in you

I say yes becasue His ways are perfect, if I fall short in any area it is because I recieve what is just IMO, yes we go through trials and at times it is hard, but in the end, He judges right, in this I am confident.
