Nothing I have said is heresy but hey, I'd rather be a heretic than in the LGBTQ group . . .
According to Calvinists, God has ordained us to oppose their heresies, their hatred, and their heinous views of God. According to them, He is pulling the strings every time any one lies, steals, cheats, rapes, murders, etc, making them lie, cheat, steal, rape, murder, etc, because their god is the author of evil, and cannot be omnipotent unless He is making everyone do everything that anyone ever does. They are puppets in their theological views, and according to them, so is everyone else. They see nothing wrong with a God Who will torture forever after anyone who was forced to reject Him because He made it so. Anyone who does not choose Him is to be punished for their failure to choose Him even though they say that was up to God, and God can do what He pleases regardless of how evil, unloving, or unjust it truly is. They call that love and justice, and they cannot see the monstrosity they have created in their vain imaginations.

i was hoping to see who agrees with me on this
... or why someone would disagree

not looking to argue...

but i have no denomination

and i believe this is 100% biblical

vvvv

God is all powerful

but He does not tempt man with evil at any point....

Lets say i choose to smoke cigarettes my whole life....

does God tempt me to smoke? no....

lets say as a smoker i get lung cancer because of my choice....

could God have stopped me from smoking?

yes....

is He wrong for allowing me to get cancer?

No....
it was my choice

Gods will is currently active.... and is done perfectly even now

if someone thinks trials....illness....death

cannot be used for a greater good you are mistaken

wether it is to teach a hard lesson
or to further prophecy
or glorify His name to whoever He wishes

....it is always just and good

who would i be (an imperfect far from all knowing man)
to question Gods plan?

or to belittle His power....

when someone is tempted by the enemy
or flesh it is not God doing this

but He being all powerful
and all knowing

can work all things for good for His purpose

if He so chose to harden one mans heart (through sin or through any form of rejecting him or whatever reason He chooses)
and soften anothers (these men still making their own choices in the present from their limited perspective)

it is still just

no matter how much someone wants to argue

its not like He hasnt provided a way out

(coming from someone who claims no denomination)

I don't have a denomination either. I don't blame God for everything. I thank God for everything-as is written in the Bible. Someobe took exception to that. I believe that God created everything-as is written in the Bible. Someone took exception to that. I believe God is omniscient, and what He doesn't do, He allows, but somehow, someone twisted that to mean I was saying God created evil.
I've finally concluded that there are some at CC who are either very unhappy, or under the delusion that they're somehow perfect: As a result those aforentioned in this sentence have declared themselves "heretic hunters," and decided to spend their time here accusing anyone who doesnt believe (apparently)that the devil is more powerful than God, or at least, almost as powerful as God, is wrong, and teaching against God. So be it. 1 Corinthians 14:38.

Hey brother.....

"I believe God is omniscient, and what He doesn't do, He allows"
i believe this
is absolutely 100% true

and i would add to this

everything He allows
and everything He does is ultimately used for good....

wether it is

to work patience in His children

to teach lessons that will extend long past these temporal bodies

to glorify His own name

to work out prophecy

to chasten or correct

or maybe other reasons beyond our simple and limited understanding...

some verses to back up the original points i posted

1. God is all powerful and can ultimately do whatever He wishes whenever He wishes.

2. God is perfect and He is just regardless of our views on what He does or allows.

3. God can work ANYTHING for good.

4. God tempts NO MAN at ANYPOINT with evil.

Proverbs 16:4 - The LORD hath made all [things] for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose

Psalms 115:3 - But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

Ephesians 1:11 - In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Isaiah 45:7 - I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].

James 1:13
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

romans 9

15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Nah, that's strictly Magenta nonsense. Lies! Try not pinning it on Calvinists.

Sorry. You came to the wrong place for this one. I still don't think smoking is a sin. So a moot point.
