I see your confusion. You're not distinguishing between THE end times Antichrist, and the many antichrists mentioned.

From what I see in the Bible the Antichrist comes from the territory of the Greek Empire. When Alexander died his empire was split between his four Generals. Antiochus ruled an area that included Syria and. He also ruled Judea and claimed to be God. He desecrated the Temple by setting up a statue of Jupiter in it and sacrificing a sow on the alter. He was a type of the Antichrist who is called the Assyrian in Scripture. Syria was also part of the Assyrian Empire hence the name and their base was Turkey. Its no coincidence that these countries are in the news.
People are fixated with the west as being the place where the Antichrist comes from because of Rome. They forget that Rome also ruled the East. All the Empires in Daniels statue occupied Israel and covered the Middle East.

During the first three years of Daniels 70th week, the antichrist is a MAN, nothing more. I am sure he has guidance from satan as all the other evil doers do. The last three years begin with the Antichrist being wounded in the head and right arm. Is He killed or not....but it appears he (the man) is risen. At somewhere around the same time that the Antichrist is being wounded, there is a war in Heaven where Michael the arc angel and his army throws out Satan and his third of the angels. It is apparent from further verses that Satan takes over the body of the Man (antichrist) prior to him supposedly rising from the dead...It does not say anything about God being the one to perform the miracle and raise him from the Dead...Satan cannot and I say cannot raise anyone from the dead unless God allows him to.
Either way, it is Satan in the Body of the Man (antichrist) who steps into the Holy of Holies and declares himself GOD. The Abomination of Desolate that was foretold 2600+ years ago.

The first three and one half years repentance,and salvation,are available to the world,but the world failed at obtaining peace on earth,so they turn to the man of sin,New Age Christ,as the solution to have peace on earth,and when they follow the beast kingdom,and take the mark of the beast,which has to do with technology,then repentance,and salvation,is no longer available to them,and God will put them down.

The antichrist spirit has been working in the world ever since Jesus resurrected to heaven,but will come as a physical entity,a human that Satan possesses,for this man is in to the occult,and believes that people can still evolve through the power of nature,and believes that Lucifer is the helper of this world that brought the principle of mind eons ago to the then animal man,and will help them in the future to evolve to be greater.
And the New Age Christ has been preparing to rule the world from a young age,and that is all he is interested in,and that is all he believes is reality,evolution,which the occult is part of that,and honoring the God of forces is part of that,and Jesus is only a good teacher in the process of evolution,and not Lord and Savior,and not the final teacher in the evolution process.
For the antichrist,little horn,man of sin,and New Age Christ,is the final teacher in the evolutionary process.
But it has to be for God has to end this sin business on earth,so He has to allow the world to have their way for a certain amount of time,and has to allow them to go against the Gospel,and the Bible,on a world wide scale and prosper until He puts them down,and has to allow the wicked to be as wicked as they can be,and has to allow the devil to influence the wicked as much as he wants,so He can put them down,and continue on with His plan to have the saints dwell with Him.
For God is love and loves all people,and will not give up on the world until the world gives up on Him,and has only allowed people to go so far in wickedness,and only allowed the devil to deceive so much,for His truth must prevail on earth.
But one day that restraint will be gone and all hell will break loose.
As long as one nation allows the belief in a higher power there is hope for the world that they might turn to the God of Israel,and Jesus,and if they do not know the word of God,creation testifies there is a God,and He loves people,but the beast kingdom took away the hope of the world by not acknowedging a personal God,and the ten horn kingdom shall devour the whole earth,tread it down,and break it in pieces,and the beast has power over all nations,kindreds,and tongues.
So this is on a world wide scale all nations in agreement,so the hope of the world is gone.
So it is over and God will put them down.
