I love Jesus Christ becaue He first loved me......I remember an recall at all times that moment when Iturned from this age and this world to all God is and does.....His Holy Spirit entered into me, and all was and is right because of Jesus Christ.

I have never shared other than this. Obdience is not a favor to our Father, it is our due. If those who are saved by grace want to twist this into being under the law, they will, and nothing will open their hearts to the truth of the teaching from Jesus Christ.

This is a shame, to call gratitude to ¨God being "under the law,2 and it is not correct.
The thing that some people get stuck on Is the understanding that whether Its salvation or our walk after salvation It Is grace through faith, when someone starts saying that they have been equipped to keep the law they are making a wrong turn

although they don’t Intend to offend the law they should remember that JESUS fulfilled the law already and all glory be to GOD,but when some say that they can now keep the law since GOD saved them they are trying to be acceptable to GOD when It comes to our walk by trying to made perfect by the flesh/themselves Instead of just thanking GOD for HIS grace as we receive sustenance from the vine and display spiritual fruit and establish the law.

In other words, give GOD all the credit because It sounds like they are saying glory to GOD and I helped.

When I mention the works generated by faith, I refer to what our Father gives us to do. Some
Work by simply waitingin earnest on our Lo9rd. Some
Work bby a strong prayer life. Some
Work by healing. Some
Work by utilizing the gift of knowledge. Some
Work by teaching. Some
Work by miracles. Some
Work in ways we cannot imagine, but our Father does.

All the above are not our spontaneous abilities, no they are not, each isgive by our Father when we avail ourselves to Him

As concerning obedience, this is our due, not a gift to Him, for what can we give our Father?

There is only one thing we may give to God, and it is the "sacrifice of thanksgiving."

Now is this not a wonderful light on just how we are, that thanking God is considered a sacrifice.

One of our best ways to thank Him is to recognize He is in charge and always offer ourselves to His Will.

This is whyin the prayer given us by Jesus, Yeshuia, we say with understanding, "They will be done n earth as it is in heaven." I would have it no other way after learning by life just what the horrid will is outside our Father's.

Praise God, He is worthy, not us.

Can someone answer, are we saved BECAUSE we obey, or Obey BECAUSE we are saved?
Why can it only be one way OR the other ? people do the same thing with 'law and grace'....they never dream of letting ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER....thus causing friction and division. It does not help to have RIGID UNwielding opinions. We are a 'New Creation in the making' NOT YET perfect !

Hello Beta....good post.

I see your were responding to someone asking a question, a question he has heard teh anwer to from me so many times. This is being a truly false and deceptive person........... Yes, I have answered this in many posts, this one too.... It would be nice if people would either be honest when they have an agenda to support or just bow out.

What I have posted is from the Book, from Jesus Christ, Yeshua. If these dishonest people need toact as though a question has not been responded to, it only underscores their deceptive practices. this is truly a pity, but needs be exposed.

Why does it matter? I will give you a few reasons..

1. There is One Gospel. Not two. Not three, Not four One
2. Peoples eternity is at stake, Get this wrong, and you will spend eternity in hell
3. Gods reputation is at stake, If he says one thing, and people say he said another. And it happens to damage his reputation around others. Thats not a good thing (in fact, it is a bad thing as seen by how much people hate the church because of those misrepresenting Gods word
4. If people are going to make claims, they should at least back those claims up and not be secretive about them, especially in a bible discussion forum where people are looking.
5. A persons justification or lack of as explained is in jeopardy if we get it wrong, but also their sanctification (if they are true believers and buy into the wrong reasoning, their growth could be stunted.

I am sure I can give many more.. Can you explain why you think it is not important? I think Gal 3 1 is prety clear about different gospels.. don't you?

No JJ, You have not answered, You usually beat around the bush and when it comes down to it, never get to actually answering the question, Like here, Your go to answer, "I just say what Jesus said"

That does not answer the question.

Lets see, Can anyone here tell me what JJ thinks? Does he think we are saved BECAUSE of obedience, or we are Obedient BECAUSE OF the fact we are born again?

I am prety sure I know the answer. do others?

Do we do these works to maintain salvation, Or because we are saved?

ie, are they descriptive of Gods true children, Or are the requirements needed to be done in order to maintain Gods children status?

If a peron who is saved by grace and knows it says faith without works is no faith at al, it is because it is true.

When we read teh parable of teh talents of gold given the various servants of the Master before He went away on a trip and we understand we know and see this plainely.

If we do not serve God, that is avail ourselves to His will for each of us, we are not servants at all.
so we can be saved one year, and the next year not be saved, Because we have not lived up to James standard. So can we be re-saved again? Hebrews says no, "Can not be renewed to repentance" what say you?

Neither.

We are saved by grace (God's side of the covenant) through faith(our side of the covenant).

Living by faith is the only way to keep the New Covenant. Being faithful is accomplished by loving obedience.

You obviously don't understand that because many of your posts say that faith & faithful works are separate and they're not.

You have also agreed that this one-time confession of Christ is all it takes & you're forever saved. Utter nonsense.
So in other words...,you believe we are not saved unless we obey? Unless we are "faithful" because you believe faith and faithfulness is the same concept?

Juggling meanings, playing with words, arguing words none are adequate manners of discussion of the Word of truth. We are not come to argue words, rather to share understanding and revelation.

It ouwld be deeply appreciated if those who act as though they have read and understood this post would read it and understand it prior to jumping in to make this an "under the law post."

All who do this have read tht I confess I ams aved only by the grace of God, many, manyu times, yet they wish to construe obedience in gratitude for the free salvation as being under the law, and this is very selfihs and sad.
So.., you obey because you have been saved.,,not as to earn something but as a natural expression of the love you have for God because He first loved you?

That's what I get from reading your words.

You also speak of the works God calls His children to do and gave a decent list.

Clarifying what you mean is important. The post wasnt addressed to you.

.believe it or not I don't group people into the same person.

Just because you agree with Lewis on some points doesn't mean everything you both believe are in agreement.

OKI.....faith is the gift the Father gives each of us when we come to Jesus Christ, also led by the Father to Him.

Faithfulness is the same as the adjective, faithful, what Jesus calles each who remain in the faith in works of God until we are reunited with Him in teh Kingsome..

We all hope He will welcome us as good and faithful servants.

2Jn 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
2Jn 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the
beginning, ye should walk in it.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Commandments is a word in plural.

There is moree on the subject throughout the Word, but these two quotees of John repeating the Word should suffice for all who claim to lov Jesus Christ to know we areto obey Him, learn of Him and strie to be like He..... That is all.

The tribulation should effect the entire known world. The evil one and his prophet will act out of Israel it seems, for nothing of true importance has ever occurred outside of Israel that concerns the prophecies.

Now, having stressed this due to your post, how about sticking to the OP topic.

You are doing the grouping, I simply commented on your post in this thread. YO see I stasrted the thread, so I should have that much responsibility given, or should I bow out because you have decided it is between you and someone other? If so I will.

I was merely pointing out that the Scripture references you posted are doctrinal teachings for Israel in the tribulation period and not the Church, the body of Christ. Rightly dividing Scripture will help make these divisions clear.

You are redundant in your question already spoken on by me earlier in this thread........we who enjoy the joy of aslvation in Jesus Christ will always be obedient out of love and gratitude. It is a love and a gratitude we did not possess until that moment...

Also, as mentioned in my earlier post, obedience is not somekind of gift to the Father, it is our due. Know the difference.

So.., you obey because you have been saved.,,not as to earn something but as a natural expression of the love you have for God because He first loved you?

That's what I get from reading your words.
