Is there any prophecy or information in God's word that He would eventually create a volume of books that we would learn from (i.e.; the Bible)? I don't want this to become a debate on Cessationism as people use verses to say certain gifts cease when the Bible/Canon is created. I am just curious if there is any scripture ever speaking to the Bible coming into existence for the Church.

No!!!
The Word was not created by God! He was with God in the beginning and He WAS God!

Please don't feel uncomfortable answering this question. I believe in the authority of God's Word and it being the basis for truth. If we hear something contrary to the scriptures it is false, as God does not contradict Himself.

No, I do not think so.

The idea of a strict canon is later than any Scripture and came without any prophetical movement revealing the will of God regarding this.

Many books were uncertain and today´s canon was shaped during centuries.

Great topic for a thread. And I don't know of a statement like that in scripture.

Yup after a fashion. First time I came across the following I was amazed.
Job certainly got his wish!

Job 19:23-25 NKJV
[23] "Oh, that my words were written! Oh, that they were inscribed in a book!
[24] That they were engraved on a rock With an iron pen and lead, forever!
[25] For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;

whether on tablets or scrolls etc.

I supppse that information needed to be retained somehow,

Um… What do think of these?

1Ti. 3:14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
1Jn. 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1Jn. 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Exo. 17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
Num. 5:23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
Deut. 17:18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
Deut. 31:24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
Jos. 18:9 And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.
1Sa. 10:25 Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.
Job. 19:23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
Isa. 30:8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
Jer. 30:2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
Jer. 45:1 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
Jer. 51:60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.
Rev. 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Next, do a search on “it is written” You will get 80 verses from Joshua to 1 Peter.

God wrote the ten commandments on a stone tablet for Moses.

I just saw that they have finally translated the KJV into Ancient Hebrew and Greek.

You won't find any verse making a statement in that manner. But the fact of the Bible as Scripture (or the collected Scriptures) is revealed in 2 Tim 3:16 and 2 Pet 3:15,16 (and many other places).

Peter seems to allude to Paul's writings already being considered sacred scripture even during his day:

"just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction."-2 Peter 3:15-16

There's certainly clues that God was constructing additional scriptures for the church in how Paul instructed the churches to read his letters, then send them on to other churches to be read by them.

"16When this letter is read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and you, for your part read my letter that is coming from Laodicea."-Colossians 4:16

I was taught that Philemon was the pastor of the church at Colosse and is the one who collected Paul's writings.

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book

The Scriptures began to be written down around 1,500 BC by Moses (although Job may have been written even earlier). But if someone is looking for a statement where God says "I will have a Bible by 100 AD" then that would another matter. There is no such statement.

The Lord put His stamp of approval on the Old Testament, but in the form of the Hebrew Tanakh. He declared that the Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms were "ALL THE SCRIPTURES" and they spoke about Him. Later Peter said that ALL of Paul's epistles were also Scripture. But I believe Paul prophetically saw a complete Bible when he said "ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD..." (2 Tim 3:16).

By about 200 AD, the NT canon was found in a canonical list called the Muratori Canon. But the Scriptures were being circulated in all the Churches by 100 AD. The translation of both OT and NT into the Syriac language was complete by about 200 AD. It is called the Peshitta.

Using the KJV and Youngs literal translation as source, the words " it is written " occur in 93 verses.
We also have this verse to refer to as well... 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Strong's definition of the word " scripture "
a writing, document, edict
  1. register, enrolment, roll
  2. mode of writing, character, letter
  3. letter, document, a writing
  4. a written edict
Although I can't think of any verse in particular that states books would be created for believers, I think it is implied and a matter of historical fact.
