We are saved by hearing God through His word as he gives us ears to hear what the Spirt is saying to the churches or denominations. If he has begun that good work he becomes our confidence to the very end of time. He is the Alfa and Omega of our new faith that comes from a new spirit that will never die and therefore a new heart of flesh. Job 23 informs us he performs that which is appointed to us as he works in us to both will and do His good pleasure as Emanuel God with us.(imputed righteousness)

It as the water of the word
softens or stony hearts according to Job 23.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

There is no such thing as a simple question.

How do I get saved? You don't get saved until you are resurrected with immortality.

How do I get to heaven? Assuming I got saved.... No one is going to heaven, heaven is coming to earth.

Where is the fun in that!?!...

Unless you think I can make a lot of money!?!

The Scripture are life and death( literally) but why pass up a great debate and add some spice to life and save some from death... Got to love Christianchat....

No. As much fun as it is it is real.

I told someone what I posted and he responded they are the same thing. I responded for us not not for everybody. David, paused, and said your right. There are different mind camps in the battlefield....

How do I get saved? You don't get saved until you are resurrected with immortality.

How do I get to heaven? Assuming I got saved.... No one is going to heaven, heaven is coming to earth.

Deade, both responses are incorrect:

You don't get saved until you are resurrected with immortality.

"
I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life." - 1 John 5:13

"
that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." - Rom.10:9

No one is going to heaven, heaven is coming to earth.

"
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

* The Father's house is in heaven.

* Jesus went to the Father's house to prepare places for all believers

* Very soon now He is coming back to get us to take us back to those places that He prepared, which are in the Father's house, which is in heaven.

"Hallelujah! For our Lord God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us rejoice and celebrate and give Him the glory. For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. She was given clothing of fine linen, linen bright and pure.”

The wedding of the Lamb will be taking place in heaven. The bride is the church, those who will have previously been gathered by the Lord and according to Rev.19:14, where after the wedding of the Lamb, they, the church/bride will be following the Lord out of heaven wearing the same fine linen that they received at the wedding and riding on white horses.

"They (the beast and the ten kings) will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

The above is in reference to the Lord's return to the earth to end the age. His called, chosen and faithful followers, is the church/bride who will have been in heaven at the wedding of the Lamb and will be following him out of heaven as He descends to the earth to end the age.

Once we, the church/bride, return with Christ we will rule with him in our immortal and glorified bodies during the millennial kingdom in positions of authority.

What's next? Anything that is contrary to the truth, Nehemiah and that because we are living at the threshold of the gathering of the church. It seems that in these last days Satan is attacking every Biblical truth.

Why not? If Joseph Prince can become a wealthy prince with his non-answers, you could do a lot better.

How do I get to heaven? Assuming I got saved....
1.Accepting Jesus and his works, and the Holy spirit humbly and sincerely(as in no putting on or phony promise you either commit for real or no commitment at all and no salvation until you do so)
2.As far as literally there is no road to heaven, nor path, spiritually the only "way" to the father is the son and thus only once again by way of Jesus can we ever hope to see heaven or even, the new earth, new heaven, and new Jerusalem

Hello again Deade,

Regarding the church being heaven, here is another scriptural proof:

"I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven."

Two simple theological questions?

How do I get saved?

How do I get to heaven? Assuming I got saved....
1) You get saved by believing Jesus ( His Word) and by trusting 100% in the Atonement He secured by His execution on the cross that fully pays the penalty you deserved because of your transgressions against the will of God...

2) If you continue to believe in definition (1) then you will be lifted up on the day of the Resurrection by Angels and you will be transformed into an eternal perfect being.. You don't do any works because the perfect work is already done by our perfect LORD Jesus.. And we shall spend eternity with the LORD no matter where that will be..

PS: i do not believe we shall be spending eternity in Heaven.. That is a tradition of men not what the Bible reveals.. We shall be spending eternity with the LORD on the New Earth... As Jesus said the Meek shall inherit the Earth.. And so they shall..

"
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Simply not correct and these are the reasons why:

John 14:1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[SUP]a[/SUP] ; believe also in me.2My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.4You know the way to the place where I am going.”

So, where was Jesus going to prepare the rooms?

John 14:23Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.24Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

You still don't get it, do you? Heaven is the hearts of believers here on earth and the many rooms are the 144k believers here on earth that will not die of tribulations.

And Jesus taught us how to pray like this:

Matt 6:9

“ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10your kingdom come, your will be done,on earth as it is in heaven...

In this prayer, I don't see, "..may we fly off to the wedding in heaven, which is not like earth.."

This is the description of the New Jerusalem/Heaven on earth/ The temple of God/ eternal God's dwelling place here on earth:

Rev 21:
3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.....

15The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls......

17The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits[SUP]d[/SUP] thick.

Take note of the fact that it is human measurement which simply means it is made of believers, but which believers if not the church of Philadelphia which were promised to be pillars in the temple?

Rev 3:
12The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

And who are the church of Philadelphia? The 144k faithful believers who will dwell on this earth even after the tribulation.

Conclusion: "My Father's house has many rooms.." means the 144k believers.

I totally agree with this ! we are not truly saved (for certain) until the resurrection from the dead when we are delivered into the Kingdom of God with new Bodies Rom 1v4. Until such a time we only have Hope, Faith, Belief etc etc but not concrete certainty.....because there is the possibility of 'falling away...hence 'he who endures to the end shall be saved' Mat 10v22.

And God is 'coming down to dwell with His people Rev 21.

You guys like to move away from the scripture in question and jump to another. So, let's stick with the scripture at hand. The answer is given right in the scripture which states that Jesus was going back to the "Father’s house" to prepare places for us and that He would come back to get us so that where He is we may be also. If you would pay attention to the scripture you would understand this.[/quote]

John 14:23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
The reference to "My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them," is referring to the believer being indwelt by the Spirit of God. This is basically the same thing that Jesus meant when He said the following:

"
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. "

They both mean that the spirit of Jesus and the Father would come in and indwell the believer, having fellowship with him.

You still don't get it, do you? Heaven is the hearts of believers here on earth and the many rooms are the 144k believers here on earth that will not die of tribulations.
Sorry, but heaven is a real place and is not speaking symbolically to represent the believers heart and the "many rooms" certainly does not represent the 144,000. Where in the world did you interpret that from?

And Jesus taught us how to pray like this:

Matt 6:9

“ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done,on earth as it is in heaven...

In this prayer, I don't see, "..may we fly off to the wedding in heaven, which is not like earth.."
That's because the above has nothing to do with flying off into heaven to the wedding There were two issues in the original post and you have simply applied this to the wrong issue. This issue is simply saying that just as God's will is done in heaven, in the same way let His will also be done on earth. That's all.

This is the description of the New Jerusalem/Heaven on earth/ The temple of God/ eternal God's dwelling place here on earth:

Rev 21:3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.....

15The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls......

Take note of the fact that it is human measurement which simply means it is made of believers, but which believers if not the church of Philadelphia which were promised to be pillars in the temple?

Rev 3: 12
The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

The above is speaking about the new Jerusalem, which takes place after the millennial kingdom and after the great white throne judgment. The church will gathered and taken to the Father's house prior to that last seven years and will return with Christ to the earth at the end of that seven years. You need to go back and read the scriptures that I provided instead of tossing them to the side in order to write your rebuttle.

And who are the church of Philadelphia? The 144k faithful
believers who will dwell on this earth even after the tribulation.

You have no idea what you are talking about! The church of Philadelphia is one of the seven churches written to in Revelation, where the 144,000 are 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes of literal Israel, who are not the church. Furthermore, the church is never mentioned during the narrative of God's wrath. The church is not alluded to again until Rev.19:6-8 as the bride. The actual word "church" is not seen again until the epilogue in Rev.22:16, which is outside the narrative of God's wrath.

When the Lord comes to gather the church and take them back to the Father's house in heaven, the entire church will go. The 144,000 who come out of Israel, will be here during the first 3 1/2 years of that seven year period.

Conclusion: "My Father's house has many rooms.." means the 144k believers.
That's quite an imagination you have there to be able to equate "My Father's house has many rooms" as representing "the 144,000" and that without any scripture to back that up.

My advise to you, is to stop reading the garbage that is out on YouTube and the internet and do some true studying of the word, because nothing that you have said is supported by scripture.

OK, so since even this has become controversial I will address these questions.

How do I get saved?
ACTS 16

[29] Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
[
30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
[
31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Does it get any simpler than that?

How do I get to heaven? Assuming I got saved....
Through the blood of Christ.

HEBREWS 9

[24] For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
[
25] Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
[
26] For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

In case anyone has any doubts that the eternal home of the saints in in Heaven (in the New Jerusalem), read and study John 14:1-3. And for confirmation that this is really true, we have this passage from Hebrews 12.

[22] But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
[23] To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
[24] And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
