Today is the first day that I've actually felt good in a long time. I went to church and sat in the chapel and prayed for awhile in the presence of the Eucharist and layed out all my troubles to the Lord. As I did this I was made aware of one which I hadn't really considered before but suddenly realized that it had been a huge obstacle in my life and it was preventing me from being able to move forward. I was glad to be able to ask God for help on that matter.
I also prayed for something that never occurred to me before but it is something that I really needed to pray for. Protection from all discouragement! Discouragement seemed to be overwhelming more often than not and my vulnerable state of mind makes it even more of a hindrance than it would be to most people. Thank you GOD for opening my eyes to these things! Amen.
