Is Genesis 1 one story of creation, the 6th day God created male and female and God rested on day 7th? Genesis 2 a story of man, Adam "formed", then woman made from man. It appears to be two different stories. Obviously to me they (Adam and Eve) are not created by spoken word, but male formed of the dust, God breathed life into him, and he did not have a help mate. Then God made woman from Adam's rib.

Does this speak of two different events?

Now this is just my "imagine thoughts". Not based on any specific scripture.

What if the
Genesis 6:4 "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty menmen of renown." which were of old, are men of the 6th day creation mating with Adam and Eve's descendants. No where do I see that male and females had to "work the ground" so what was the role of this 6th day male and female created?

Imagine thoughts: Noah was the only righteous man on the face of the earth. What if this meant Noah was the only man left on the face of the earth who was a direct descendant of Adam and Eve?

Could the male and females of the 6th day creation have all the different nations of people? So in all, the 8 who crossed over represented the whole world as we know it today.

Ok now this is where I go off the deep end - the Bible gives a whole lot of genealogy and when I get to the story of Nimrod and Babylon, they all have one language and God said we need to confuse their language. Could it be at that time that all nations were already in existence? Then when God confused their language so that each group spoke the same and moved on to form their own country. How else can we explain where all the different languages and people's come from?

Now some of the descendants came to the point of the tribe of Judah of which we know Jesus was promised to be from. The tribe of Judah, later became known as Jews.

Now in the End of Days is the world learning another one language (ie world wide web)?

The big problem with this that I would see is the issue of original sin. We were "in the loins" of Adam, and so we shared in his sin. If there were men and women on the earth, there would have to be some other ontological connection in order for them to fall with Adam. While I find that intriguing, there would have to be something more to convince me.

In Matthew 19:4-5, the Lord Jesus combined quotations from Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. He declared: “He who made them from the beginning made them male and female [1:26], and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh [2:24].”

Genesis 1 and 2 are strictly complementary: Genesis 1 mentions the creation of man as the last of a series, and without any details, whereas in Genesis 2 man is the centre of interest and more specific details are given about him and his setting. There is no incompatible duplication here at all.
There is only one creation account told in the style of prose at the time it was written.

Genesis one presents the full account of creation, from the formless earth to the creation of man. Genesis two is supplemental in design. Genesis two particularly supplements regarding the earth from the standpoint of man (Gen. 2: 5 ff.). Thus, the focus of chapter two is on the creation of the third day from the consideration of man's subsequent contribution (Gen. 1: 11-13, 2: 20).
