Of course it is not the norm for Christians to do wrong to each other in a spiritual, but not all people who claim Christ is spiritual.

Love works no ill (intentionally)towards their neighbor;therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. (love the Lord your God and love you neighbour as yourself)

Love never hurts anyone (intenitionally... its all about the motivation of the heart of the person - we dont know their heart - although a lot of times we think we do.... - everyone gets hurt, and sometimes the person that hurts you doesnt even know you were being hurt!) anything not done with love is wrong...

We are living in the last days where people will be lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God,loving selfish and arrogance more than God,and that is why so many people who claim to be with Christ fight with each other and are derogatory to each other, because they are coming from the flesh and not the Spirit. Amen

Not everyone that claims Christ is led by the Spirit. Amen

A hypocrite will be someone who usually acts like their society and claims to be with Christ. AMEN! I'm convicted!

The more sinful a nation the more hypocritical the person will appear if they are hypocritical. Wow, true

America is very sinful and very flesh oriented so the hypocrites will appear very hypocritical.

I have seen people who claim Christ that did not even seem like they claimed Christ, they were that bad. Selah.

I have seen a lot who did good quite a lot but had some flaws, but all sin is unrighteousness. But we are all in process, thank God... God sees the heart, but also the finished product - what He intends in us.

There is a lot of people who claim Christ but still hold unto some things of the flesh, in which the Bible says they have a form of godliness but they deny the power thereof;ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth. They never come to the truth that they have to do good all the time led by the Spirit which is their power to overcome fleshy pleasures,in which they are lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.

Christians are to always by loving towards each other, but we are at the end times so there will be a lot of hypocrites, who still want to hold unto some things of the flesh. But the True will emerge. :)

You would be surprised though how many on here will disagree with you for defending the doing/active part of the faith.
They will call you a works to earn salvationist and say you are a false teacher, because they want to stick with their instructing of others to be disobedient to the word and still have salvation gospel.

OK I am throwing this out there why do Christians hurt one another ? why can't people just treat one another with love the way Christ does ? I just don't get it . if any of you have any answers because its giving me allot of confusion .... and Yes I have been hurt by someone who is a christian just wondered if that's the norm ? so any information on this would be helpful thank you ....
It is the norm, being hurt by other believers. And I've been teaching on why the 'church' is so non connected......with the Father. Out of order.

It refuses to line up with God's word on assembly outlined by Paul and others in the word.

False leadership teaching falsehood for fun and prophet.
Job 35:9 By reason of the many oppressions , false leadership make the oppressed to cry. They cry out by reason of the control of the exalted leaders.(mine).

Lets check another particular verse for proof why natural affection and love is missing in the 'church'.

Jesus told us plainly in 1John 5:2-6 By this we know that we love the the children of God, when we love God, and KEEP His commandments.
For THIS is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.....

You cannot love others with agape love by simply being good or having a moral code, or by going to 'church'.

You can only have this love through and by the indwelling Holy Spirit and that is Not going to happen unless we are obeying His commands and walking in obedience to Him.

That includes rejecting the heresies and lies that most pulpits spew.

By obeying man's commandments, traditions and laws, we are rejecting God's commandments and laws.

Remember, His love is only operative in us when 'we keep His commandments'!

John 15:12-14. This is My commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. (How did He love us? By lying to us? Or telling us the truth?

No greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (The truth is love. To tell others the truth knowing full well the beating and rejection you may get for your trouble, is to lay down your life, your reputation, your all).

You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. (That is to take a stand for the only thing that will set men, saved or unsaved, free....the truth. Now that is the 'love' that is going to cost you. Take that stand and you will sit alone. Push a different gospel and the crowds will tear your door down to get in.).

Just like a dog hurts people If it was beaten up, people That aren't healed up hurt others and sometimes what someone says is not even meant to hurt, but a hurt person Will take it like Rejection.
Solution: Father's heart ministry, forgive and sometimes If people go on and on and don't want to forgive it's no sin to just not hang out with them.

I think the answer is that none of us are yet perfect. We all are still pilgrims on the road. That being said, we should strive to love those around us and especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.. It doesn't mean that we will all be the best of friends but friends that love one another.

The first and best palce to start is with our own behaviour. we can't change others but we can change our own attitudes..

Christians who love to hurt others usually think of themselves as greater than the rest of the congregation. Don't worry! God doens't share their opinion!

I tried a search of the word 'bias' on cc, and this is one of the most recent, so aside from the many discussions perhsps in the longer threads, i am starting off from this than making a new one. For one, i cannot explain long when starting a thread, so i start off from what others have said abt it. I am just recalling how a mother also a school administrator, once was speaker at a UN program here in school. She just said we ppl may not even know we have so many biases, big or little things. Whether be in food, clothes, habits, and faith.

Of course the Holy Spirit is there to teach and convict.. but sometimes we still are so used to our ways, even i am i know, for we are creatures of habit. I know ppl who brushed teeth w/o turning off the tap long before... they still do now even knowing its a waste of water. We welcome ppl in cc so nicely, and when they post (some newcomers at least) , there is no response for ppl are busy in the busy threads as well.. idk. I know there is more good than bad in the site, so i stay on. but sometimes i wonder and ask, how real it all is. For one, i didnt know abing for long, except her occasional posts i read. She's an old member, so i suppose has old 'friends.' Then suddenly i see she's gone, and didnt say bye either. There may be ??but i didnt see someone say now where could she be, and how could she be? So after reading so many friendly, and not so friendly chats, i ask again, where were those who seemed so close, so friendly w/ her? How much more the members who cannot speak or speak enough or well enough? There are more verbose ppl for sure, but in a way is it not being biased when we ignore or overlook those who cannot post for some reasons? Its not in the no.of words we say, tho at times that is needed and there are writers and poets here. I never thought abt it before much, But it does hurt when u think and ask Why do Christians hurt one another, and whree is the love? I feel a bias in many discussions where there didnt have to be.

Closing, this reminds me of what James said in 2.1-10. And here is a short expository.
James 2:1-13 - The Sin of Favoritism
